I'm glad you're ok Kelly. Was your electricity out, or just your internet or both? How long did you have to wait to get them back? I sure hope it wasn't very long!
I'm sorry to hear that Marlene. Honestly though I think that's pretty much true for everyone now days. At least it sure seems like it. But at least we know that we have a wonderful life ahead for us. It makes going through trials a little easier to know that.

No problem Anna well it cloudy and cool Saturday morning in SO CAL one thing I miss being down almost week I couldn't receive my international news feed from Amazon Fire App honey I got plenty of it
BTW I went to my doctor this past week she put me on new medicine she is proud that no heistant I got two dosed shinnix shot to prevent shingles yeah tell me I be down my local CVS ASAP LOL! I set up appt by computer man she want check back with me in May see what happen with new medicine I am good

I think it was internet line to telephone and router it was hard I have used my cell phone that went down so I have my neighbor this is lady that I take care of her cat for when she out of town well cat come over the house LOL!
She give me wet cat food I feed him then he goes over back yard over stay in my flower bed sleep off LOL!

Well on Super Bowl Sunday I be around in the morning afternoon you are your own I be watch the game we going pick Stater Bros chicken that I order during last weekend mom going make veggie tray and chips we going kick back watching the game I want see Breaking bad chip commerical I been seeing preview last few weeks I want see who show up from the show I know Walter White Jesse going show up in the commerical

I heard from a pastors news that a few days ago there was a communications problem for the west coast of South America and also on February 18th there is going to be a 7 times stronger wave of energy hitting the earth than happened on about February 5th.

It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here today. Where do they get their information from Marlene? I want to get the shingles vaccine too, but keep forgetting. oh well, sooner or later I'll remember. My eyes have been hurting a lot for the last couple of weeks and still are which is another reason why I haven't been here a lot.

The information comes from a christian man that has a website Council of Time, he is in the military, officer, he wanted to retire but they wanted him to stay working, so there he is. He talks to pastor Paul Begley on Thursday evenings, 8 our time, and 11,000 people log in to listen, this all is on youtube also.
Also from spaceweather.com and sp because I can't seem to find his site again wageworld.
Will say prayer for your eyes, my eyes were hurting about a week ago for a few days, and also saying prayer for Chris.

OHHH I hear of council of time yeah my telephone pole was hit by drunk driver that reason I was off well it nice beautiful cold day in SO CAL it sunny out there is cold I am going watch Super Bowl I am stay online temporalty this morning after church I got go to store pick up Stater Bros chicken and get stuff for this week I be offline watching the game if game is boring i you get Animal Planet TBS or Discovery you can get Puppy Bowl

Thanks for the information Marlene and especially for your prayers. I really appreciate them! In fact, I've been sleeping lately with the prayer blanket you sent me. It always makes me think of you.  I sure hope your eyes are feeling a lot better now!
I hope the pole wasn't close to your house Kelly! At least we know you're safe since you posted. Did you actually see the accident happen, or just see it afterward?

I don't know if you all remember, but a long time ago I posted some prayers out of a book called, Let us pray: 120 prayers for all occasions, by David Clowes. Many of you really loved his prayers and I think at least one person went out and bought the book for themselves. I'm mentioning it because I just got three more of his prayer books. I'll start posting the prayers from these books in the thread called, Prayer of the Day. Well I am off from my school district job Lincoln birthday we celebrate check this out there is report that parent company of Decades METV going rebrnaded Decades into Catchy Comedy tv network they show all Normean Lear shows and classic CBS comedy shows start March 27 look like variety.com/2023/tv/news/decades-network-catchy-comedy-night-court-1235521267/But on weekend they still show Binge marthon of other shows |

and several for today
( which I did not watch....
because they were pastors talking about as you wrote:

And they were saying (I believe),
that it was basically, in your face, Satan worship,
like the Grammys last week...
they no longer try to 'hide' it!
The end times is rushing at us in what feels like 'warp' speed!

Yeah I totally agree Rhianna perforamce sucks they should have Chris Stalperton do honor that dude is great singer he could jam on Super Bowl stage bring his country rock artists buddies with him I think last year was good on perfoamce with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg it show LA gangstra rap culture with Tam Burgers stand in background and other part of LA

I knew that half time was going to be like what it was, so I was not interested in watching it.
Many pastors twist scriptures, so it is not good for me to listen, I hate sensationalism.
Cold here, expecting snow, so I have a shovel and broom in the home to clear off the steps.

Speaking of people being offended like a Raiders fan, last week I was driving down the congested Interstate in large city and the car behind me got in front of me where all cars are moving lanes, and the person kept pointing there finger in the car for me to move over to the right lane people take offence when ya don't even know they are taking offence, when you don't even do anything wrong. Then I had to go into a building where I had to wear a mask and when no one was around I uncovered my nose to breath better and a person came rushing to me angry shouting at me about how I could cause the whole building to be shut down.

I remember when others used to listen to J Vernon McGee, I have just started listening to his Through the Bible, I'll see if I stay with it, I want to listen to something good, I am now tired of you tube. There is still the website to be able to listen, that is good, some other places charge money to listen to it.

I'm glad you weren't in the middle of it Kelly! It's good to see you Marlene! I've got to run to get groceries today, both for us and for Christopher too. Jenn was really sick with a nasty virus yesterday, but is feeling some better today. Hopefully she'll be fine by tomorrow. I guess it's a nasty stomach bug that's going through the schools.
I agree Barbara, it's just another symptom of the times we're living in.

Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better to have lived in a previous generation than now days, someone once told me a lot of living comfortable in life, is just luck. Everyone has to bear with their current system to survive. I wonder about the future because I see people that don't want to work or in other words a society that is not able to become accomplished as individuals. People used to be able to find work, worldwide I don't see that as possible as it used to be.
Well with each new day we are one day closer to being with the Lord.

Acutally I am old enough when grocery store and other stores was closed on Sunday I spent time with my grandma she used serve my family Sunday dinner with all trimming after Cathoic church we usually go late like 11am or 12 noon mass by the time we got home we have early dinner we got late sometime then later on we went to early mass like 7am in the morning when we went to 1950 diner that I blab all the time
There is places in Fairbanks AK that some stores or grocery store are open up limited time they close like 3 in the afternoon

Memories of visits with grandma were the nicest memories, such good cooks and good company. I once had an 84 year old neighbor that told me she wished she could talk to her mother, I know the feeling, I miss talking to my parents and going to grandparents home for a meal.

Here the great memory for me I remember for Thanksigving in a roll my uncle used take to Hollywood park here the kicker they usually ran the race around 9:30am or 10am in the morning they give you coupon you going have FULL BLOWN Turkey dinner this like in early 1980s or late 1970s here down side we weren't hungry after we come home say at 3pm or 4pm we have full turkey dinner with all trmmings you got remmeber
They have cooks in Turf club they give you everything well down even with pumpin pie that memory I had I know it sound gangstra I remember that with my late uncle

Well good morning from Chilly SO CAL morning man it is cold that rain storm came though left Artic cold mass here in SO CAL BTW YESSSS I did watch South Park episode they totally nail Harry and Megan and hyprocricty LOL! OH MAn if you want check it out already on Parmount Plus and Comedy Central demand it was brutual
I think safe to say that somebody on South Park writer board watch alot of GB news or read UK Daily mail and UK Daily Express

It was cold here 15 F. When I went to sleep I was wearing two shirts, two pants, and four blankets, in the morning I went to the shed to check on my plants and they were doing ok but the soil in their pots was frozen.
