Pro-gay activists react to gay ‘marriage’ resistance: ‘Too many Christians, not enough lions’
Lisa Bourne
July 14, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) -- There has been no shortage of anti-Christian rhetoric from various media outlets in the fallout from the Supreme Court decision decreeing homosexual "marriage" across the country.
"Too many Christians, not enough lions," a derisive reference capitalizing on the Christians martyred in ancient Rome, was also how one LGBT activist responded to Catholic Vote's (CV) pro-marriage "Not Alone" video, according to CV President Brian Burch.
Released the day of the Obergefell v. Hodges decision, the CV video logged more than 1.3 million views in the first 10 days.
"Seeing the power of our message, LGBT activists have now mounted a massive campaign to mock, ridicule, and shame us," Burch wrote to supporters. "They have used every curse word (and more) to attack us personally. They threatened our staff with phone calls. And now some are openly calling for the persecution of Christians."
Defaming of Christians, and Christ, continued over at The Huffington Post, where a column by Jules Suzdaltsev titled "Was Jesus Gay?" was picked up July 8.
"After the Supreme Court's historic ruling on gay marriage," the column began, "it seemed like all the proudly homophobic Christians came out of the woodwork to talk about how much they still hate gay people."

Effort afoot to put Christianity in the closet
Charlie Butts August 19, 2015
Homosexual activists are making a push against religious freedom, bolstered by millions of dollars to help their cause.
After homosexual activists claimed victory in June when the U.S. Supreme Court legalized unnatural marriage, that win wasn't the end of the effort.
"Attacking religious exemptions is the next big wave," Bill Donohue, head of the Catholic League, told LifeSiteNews in a July 31 story.
LifeSiteNews reported on an investigation by Catholic News Agency, which found that six liberal foundations contributed $4.8 million into efforts to force religious organziations to accept same-sex marriage.
Matt Barber, founder of Barbwire.com and a constitutional attorney, tells OneNewsNow the sole purpose to is eliminate religious exemptions.
"This is nothing short of an effort to engage in religious cleansing," Barber alleges, accusing the "secular left" and homosexual activists of working together to force Christians to accept homosexuality.

Time to Choose: God or Man – Whom Will You Serve?
By J. Matt Barber | August 20, 2015
It’s never fun to be proven right when warning of some impending wrong. Many in the pro-family movement have long stressed that the cultural Marxist left’s belligerent push for the judicial fiction that is “gay marriage” was never about gaining “equal access” to this biologically exclusive male-female institution, as they profess, but rather, is, and has always been, about control.
While there are many layers to unfold, the almost instant explosion in government-sanctioned, anti-Christian extremism on display post Obergefell v. Hodges, confirms the poisonous three-fold agenda that underlies the “social justice” mob’s flowery “marriage equality” propaganda. That is: 1) the ultimate destruction of marriage, 2) forced affirmation of sexual deviancy under penalty of law, and 3) the eventual criminalization of Christianity.
The destruction of marriage
Here’s the bottom line: Homosexual activists don’t want the white picket fence; they want to burn down the white picket fence. The endgame is not to achieve so-called “marriage equality” but rather, to render marriage reality meaningless.
Masha Gessen, a lesbian journalist, activist and author, expressly admitted this fact in a 2012 interview with ABC Radio: “It’s a no-brainer that [homosexuals] should have the right to marry,” she said. “But I also think equally that it’s a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist. … [F]ighting for gay marriage generally involves lying about what we are going to do with marriage when we get there – because we lie that the institution of marriage is not going to change, and that is a lie.”
Clinton Fein echoes Gessen’s candid sentiments: “Demand the institution [of marriage] and then wreck it,” he once wrote. “James Dobson was right about our evil intentions,” he quipped. “We just plan to be quicker than he thought.”
The goal is to water down marriage until marriage is pointless. And as evidenced by the burgeoning legal push for polygamous and incestuous “marriages” – even for the “right” to “marry” a robot – sexual anarchists are well on their way to achieving this goal.
