Do you think, I should move on to a new question? I was kind of thinking, maybe wrapping this up... on the other hand, have I missed some not so great biblical parents, that could be covered? I will just look at one issue concerning today's parents and wait and see what you think :)

I am not sure it is a 'sin' but I think it is close anyway, or at least.... parents ought to be given a second and third look, to see if there is 'any' way to teach their children at home, especially in these end times.....
parents ( and I was one of them), Do not take the responsibility of training, teaching, at home ( as in home schooling) etc. their children, but rather, let the government do it.
I do realize that one big issue, is often both parents need to work, to provide a roof over the family heads.
Although, I also think for many ( not all, but at least some) Christian families, there are possibly many many things they have been deceived to believe, as 'necessary' material items to have, that really are not 'necessary', and thus, perhaps, without a lot of material items... one parent 'could' possibly stay at home.
6 These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. Deuteronomy 6:6,7
I do think, we are seeing, ( like never before) some terrible and horrific results, of allowing the government/ strangers, to 'teach' our children.
Some of the seriously dreadful things schools are teaching children from Christian homes, are: evolution environmentalism Critical race theory Gender fluidity anti-God and anti-Bible enforce your own pronouns on others transgenderism abortion is a woman's right a boy can become a girl, a girl can be a boy, ( or any 100 plus other identities) etc. etc.
Oh and let's not forget the recent ruling by our President that bathrooms need to be opened and free to all genders.
2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created. Genesis 5:2 In a very real sense, we are forcing our children to be groomed by a lot of unbelievers, for the most part. ( There are still some Christian teachers, but they are very very limited in what they are allowed to say).
14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers, for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14
I know in the past, at least, even IF some parents could have stayed at home, they might have felt: unqualified to 'teach'.
But today, with what is actually being taught, and by some very very radical teachers... almost anything, would be better! Besides, I think people tend to underestimate what they do know, and their many skills, and abilities. Not to mention, you can learn a lot online, or together with your children.
Sadly, even more so today, than ever before, it's like sending little lambs to be slaughtered by some of the abhorrent, dangerous, disturbing, ideas being brainwashed into children.
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. Colossians 2:8
Some of the teachers are either forced to teach or gleeful embrace teaching, such horrendous and evil cultural and moral theories with the intent of changing the society into a very dark, degenerate, depraved, cruel, ungodly, one.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness 1 Corinthians 3:19
Some parents are too busy climbing the social ladder, some think they can't teach, some find public schools convenient, but no matter what the reason, the state the government has your children 8 plus hours a day in order to indoctrinate and brainwash them.
God commanded parents to:
Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Many parents are not doing this:
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4
I do believe some, a few, children will be able to survive this, a wild guess might be one in ten? Nevertheless, for many, this will be the result:
He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm. Proverbs 13:20
and
But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. Psalms 106:35
It is in essence starving our children spiritually, because they are getting absolutely zero of God's word, in a public school.
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4
Also they are not getting any godly salt or light in government schools:
13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16
Instead they are stuck in a spiritual battle ground, without much spiritual training in order to not to surrender to the enemy. Again, there are still Christian teachers in their schools, but they too often have their hands tied by the enemy.
However, for those parents who truly cannot home school I think perhaps make a sacrificial effort to spend as much time ( even tho you may be so tired from work) to read Christian novels, the Bible etc. with your children...and pray, pray, pray for them!
Done for today.

Excellent! I'm not sure if it's a sin either, but I think it probably is at least for those Christians that the Lord has shown that He wants them to teach their children at home. Feel free to start a new one any time you want to.
The Lord says: “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) And as you've shown already He talks about the parents responsiblity to train their child in His ways. I can't imagine the Lord saying, "Send the precious child I gave you to raise up for my glory, to someone you don't know and who is a child of Satan to teach them what they need to know to have a good life. But God does say what we need in order to be equipped for doing all He has planned for us to do in this life: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16–17) In the Bible we see parents being told how to raise their children and how to teach their children. But I don't see anything at all about sending your child to someone the world has "certified" to teach them the right way to live their life. Come to think of it, I have seen scriptures that tell us not to conform to the world. If we are not to conform to the world, then why in the world (no pun intended) would we send our children to the unsaved world to be taught??? The very thought of it makes me realize how very wrong it was to send my children to the world to teach. Consider these scriptures in addition to the ones that Barbara posted:
“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” “Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”” (2 Corinthians 6:14–18)
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2)
I think that those who the Lord showed these things to and who the Holy Spirit prompted to homeschool their children, to them it was a sin not to do so. For everyone else, all I can say is that God will judge everyone not on what they know, but also on what they could have known if they had tried. So other then those who were newly saved and didn't have time to know this, it probably is a sin. Unfortunately, most people think of themselves first, even when it comes to their own children. They'd rather have someone else do the work.

I couldn't agree with your statement anymore! I too totally agree with this sentence you wrote ( it applies to me so much!)
You wrote: "The very thought of it makes me realize how very wrong it was to send my children to the world to teach".
Me too!
Okay, well, I shall look at some of the other ides you posted :)

Yeah, too bad I didn't realize it a very long time ago. I'm afraid that's true for many people. I tried hard to convince my daughter to homeschool her kids, even told her I'd do it for her or with her, if she'd like. But she chose to send them to public school. A couple of years ago she sat here and cried and said she wished with all her heart that she'd homeschooled them. Oh well, that's the way it is with most folks.
