Might be some good news here Russia's Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that some of the soldiers taking part in the military drills close to the Ukrainian border were returning to their bases after completing their exercises. At the same time, they noted that "large-scale measures for the operational training of troops and forces" were still in progress. The Kremlin also confirmed the development but stressed it will continue to conduct drills on Russia's territory as it sees fit. "We have always said that after the exercises are over ... troops would return to their permanent bases. There's nothing new here. This is a usual process," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. The announcement marks a slight shift in tone, along with comments from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that indicated a willingness to reduce tensions and continue www.dw.com/en/ukraine-latest-moscow-says-some-of-its-troops-are-pulling-back/a-60781672

Did try this in Rus Viking days back in da day Russian Duma asks Putin to recognize Ukrainian regions as independent Russian lawmakers have voted to ask President Vladimir Putin to recognize the self-declared Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics in Ukraine as independent nations Russia's parliament, the Duma, voted on Tuesday to ask Putin to recognize two Russian-backed breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine as independent. Recognizing of Donetsk and Luhansk would be a significant step that would effectively end the existing Minsk peace process for eastern Ukraine, which Russia has said is committed to until now. The 2015 deal foresees their reunification with Ukraine, but with Kyiv granting the two regions wide-reaching autonomy. What did Russian lawmakers say? The speaker of the Russian parliament's lower house, Vyacheslav Volodin, said that lawmakers would directly call on Putin to recognize the regions as "sovereign and independ www.dw.com/en/russian-duma-asks-putin-to-recognize-ukrainian-regions-as-independent/a-60783596?fbclid=IwAR1btlO0rC7omJID7zm3PZhtnceoo-bOYUh-zLHODKmga5VRpFA0ttCLUDA

I guess we will have to wait and see.
But some say, they are just repositioning.
Otherwise Putin has spent a lot of money etc. moving his troops and assets there, just to go home....
So I doubt he will show his hand, IF he decides to attack.
Generally, ( I don't think) in a war, you tell the opposite side
exactly when and where you will attack?

I guess we will just have to wait and see, if this will be one of the 'wars' or the rumors of war that Jesus said in Matthew 24:6
"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet" Matthew 24:6
