Your right about high tech and current, that reminds me I never want to take apart another 110 electrical appliance with a capacitor, the average person does not know what there is and where in high tech appliances.

NO it cool they say I could mix and match could be Pzner or Mordera they say if Johnson Johnson booster shot not available I could get Morenda I went with Mordena it does have more antibody if you take JJ alone that I hear from research so I get 95 more effective with my JJ and Mordena booster shot I am good Beside I have no plan go to China LOL! Yeah I felt feverish remind me of JJ vaccine when I first got hat I cant say jack about other people immune system but if you prefer to stick with your same vaccine booster shot it all good people saying they felt tired feverish they got over in a day that only warning I getting
MAN I got drench when I got home I went little grocery shopping I did pick milk and montarry jack cheese so what I did my mom told me take warm shower I did I decided put on pj at 4pm in the afternoon so screw it that I did LOL!

Strange times we are living in, I got this email from the place where I pick up my food order.

In May 2020, during the early days of the pandemic, our small (but mighty) team was working tirelessly to fulfill the massive influx of orders and we put out a call to you, our customers, to come to Oregon and help us catch up. We called it a "cavalry blitz" and we were sure glad when the cavalry arrived!
We find ourselves in a place where we need to "call for backup."
If you're strong, hardworking (would like to get a great workout everyday) and could use some extra cash, we'd love to have you come out to Oregon and work with us to fulfill orders at our warehouse or package flour, grains and other products at our mill.
Although the positions would be temporary, there may be long-term opportunities for those looking to relocate to the area.
Because of housing shortages in the area, we can offer some bunkhouse style living quarters for anyone able to come out and help. For those who have RV's or trailers, there are some areas available to park and set up.
If you're interested in joining the team and providing "backup" at our warehouse or mill, please fill out our short questionnaire and a manager will give you a call.

Yup! That's Oregon for you.
Our daughter,
the manager of the nearest dollar tree
has often been doing to work
( for the last year and a half)
of 4 or 5 employees.
Sometimes, workers waltz in...
She usually has 2 or 3 most days..
but just one example,
the manager's, job, in general,
is not to unload the frozen truck by themselves
They have work that kept them busy all day.
She spent years working a register,
on an unloading 'crew',
( not alone doing the whole thing by herself),
Stocking shelves etc.
She was an assistant manager for years also.
but now she has been unloading the frozen truck by herself each week.
Stocking,
ringing up etc.
This was not the contract she signed....
Yes, maybe she should pitch in, on a rare occasion...
and do all those jobs
but a manager is hired to do 'other' jobs..
She 'was' to have 2 days off, a week.....
Instead, today, she opens at 6 in the morning,
and closes the store at 7 or 8 tonight.
She has only one assistant manager left....
So in order for each of them to get a day off
they have agreed, to work 2 shifts...
But since Leonard and I have been sick,
Hossanah spends her day off,
shopping for us etc.
So essentially, no day off for her.
She also takes that day off to clean
( 4 teens in their house)
laundry, etc.
but no real rest...
We worry about her health
She does the right thing for this company
but they have not even given her one
bonus of even $10.
She is loyal, works hard
but no one wants to work....
And they put out these flyers from her store
on every shopping cart,
in every bag a customer has
I don't believe they have snaggled one worker....
And of course, every other store is trying to get workers as well!
Oregon is a beautiful state,
but......

That's a fantastic email that company sent you Marlene. A very good idea that other companies should take notice of. Will you go out to help them? I didn't realize you lived in Oregon?
Barbara, I hate to say it, but I seriously doubt your daughter will ever get a dime out of those people. They quite obviously don't care about their workers. My youngest daughter worked as a manager for them some 15 years ago and had the same problems. She never got anything for her trouble. Maybe your daughter could add what she's done for them onto her resume and use that to get a really good job where she won't have to kill herself. Now's the best time of all to find work as everyone needs employees. If she hasn't gotten anything from them by now, either help wise or pay raise or bonuses, she can count on not ever getting much of anything from them. She'd be better off to work "normal" hours and then go looking for another job afterward instead killing herself to stay where she's not appreciated. There's also another possibility if she starts job hunting and gets some offers. Jennifer quite literally had 3 stores fighting over who was going to get her, and trying to top each other with what they'd pay her! When she gave her notice at the place she was at and told them where she was going and why, they also tried to offer her more money. But she wanted out and as they didn't offer her quite as much as the others, she left. But the dollar store might offer her more if she lets them know she's found another job. Especially if they'll have to close the store without her there. Then it's up to her which job to take. But she should make them agree to regular raises or something like that before saying yes to staying there.

Those temp jobs like that Azure one are good for people that travel and live in RV' or vans.
Barbra I also hope that your daughter looks around for the best opportunity of employment because now is an open door opportunity to do that.
Azure trucks drive from OR and drive into the state of AZ to do drop off and in my state I do not have to pay a percentage for the truck driver to deliver like other state that are located to the east where their trucks also drive to, if I remember right they pay 8% for that.

I agree with you 100 percent Cindy and Anna.
I think it's hard for her, she has been with the company 11 or 13 years....and in a strange way,
I think a part of her sees it as her store
But if her one and only Assist should quit, she will have to go

True Cindy. Here is another little piece of the Dollar Tree issue.
There is a district manager
( I am not sure how many stores he over sees)
but he usually visits all of them once a month.....
Except Hossanah's store, because it is a 2 hour drive each way....
So I think he turns up about once or maybe twice a year to her store
So all the other dollar tree managers get his help monthly,but he refuses to make the long drive to her store....
just one more little uncaring.

Well speaking of vaccination both my parents got their booster shots today not sure about my brother he probably got it already since he work in medical field since they all had Modena shots they got booster shots no ill effect for them I am only one in this family feel feverish got my booster and original Covid 19 shot LOL! I am the misfit LOL! BTW I did new channel scan on my over the air channel I start get two network today I didn't know about it Classic reruns tv network which run by HC 2 holdings most informicals and two Newsy run by EW Scripp company which run Ion television classicreruns.com/www.newsy.com/ |

It sounds like Jim doesn't have a place to reach his audience, he is probably looking for something that will work, I think some religious people are starting to broadcasting from their own website, I thought I heard that but I don't know. Watch two movies that I liked last night, you may have heard of them: where angels fear to tread, and dishonored lady 1947.
Good morning Cindy, I was clearing out weeds along the fence and I saw a small bird nest in the weeds, so cute, it looked like it was made from dog fur and I did brush the dog outdoors near that area last summer. There are wild birds here that are smaller than a parakeet bird.
Barbra hope you and Leonard are feeling better.

Kelley, determining whether or not what they said about vaccines is "misinformation" is something each of us has to do for ourselves. I don't know what they said, so I can't judge them, but I can say that I think that we're being lied to a LOT. This is one of my favorite news videos that shows both the lies we're being told and how the people telling us the lies don't know what they're talking about and can't make up their own minds.

Marlene, we posted at the same time lol. That's neat about the birds nest. It wouldn't surprise me if they did use the dog hair. I discovered that they also like the lint that you remove from the dryer vent when you're done drying a load of wash. So I save mine and put it outside in the spring so the birds can use it for their nests.

Well the doctor did it for them so I think because of family history and stuff so I think if the doctor did it most fine for them

Customer service now day is not good, automated answers that reply to email within seconds. I'll have to wait and see if anyone will even read my email as I was overcharged and wanted the company to look at the statement. I knew when I got a reply within seconds what the reply was going to say, first there is always the thank you your important to us then there is the polite reply that your are not important to us, the usual info. of how busy they are and don't know when they will reply back. If they do not correct the problem then I have to stop doing business with them, but it seems like all is automated and no one cares, so I will see if I have to take my loss and forget about it.
