I am watching video's of the hurricane Delta. I remember once when I had to deal with hurricane Andrew, I was glad I was able to evacuate, so many people must not be able to evacuate. I see the cars moving so slow on the Interstate, that is burning up gasoline and could stop everyone from moving forward. Not only do they deal with a second hurricane but also at the same time the mental state of mind of the people around them. As I watched the storm surge of water I was reminded of scripture. Jeremiah 5:22 Do you not fear Me? declares the LORD. Do you not tremble before Me, the One who set the sand as the boundary of the sea, an enduring barrier it cannot cross? The waves surge, but they cannot prevail. They roar but cannot cross it. And not only the ocean water God set a boundary for, but also the earth. Psalm 104:5 He set the earth on its foundations, never to be moved.

Great verse choice Anna!!!! .....but I am a 'wee bit' confused
is the first part, a different verse/psalm?
I did see that this was psalm 104:5 (but I could not find the rest... as in like 104: 3,4?
Thank you ahead of time
The reason I ask, is it was such a good choice I wanted to be sure to read all of 104 but then couldn't find the first portion...soooo? :)
"And not only the ocean water God set a boundary for, but also the earth".
Psalm 104:5

I was going to give scripture Barbra but I lost where it was that I read that. I don't want to look again for it because I am focused on a Bible study right now.

Psalm 104 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. 2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: 3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: 4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: 5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. our 🌹! Ain’t she adorable?

Good morning Cindy. How was your weekend with your family members?
I am listening to Vernon Mcgee.I didn't listen to him in the past because I found his accent annoying but ever since I started listening to James Patrick read the Bible who is from Ireland and hearing his accent, now Vernon's accent does not bother me anymore. Did he just recently die? Never mind, I just looked that up, he died in 1988, I thought he had just died recently, so now I know. Glad to have video to listen to. I am no longer able to spend time online with pastor Scott as he had to get a job, which is good for him, he was renting a house and was about to be evicted and wife was unhappy; we prayed he would be able to get employment and prayer was answered and now he owns his own small home, the Lord blessed, now with some free time I can listen to others like Mcgee and others. I miss praise and worship with Scott and a few woman but I am used to a new schedule, looking back I feel it was a blessing but moving forward and all are blessed.
Cute baby Lulu

Hi everyone. Sorry to be a downer, but Bruce is still in a lot of pain. He went to work anyway but I feel awful for him. He goes to get a trigger injection on Wednesday and then sees the Rheum doctor again on Thursday. I'm a bit upset at the Rheum doctor as he never followed through on our last visit. We'll see what he does this time. I'm still sleeping a lot more then usual. I hate it when that happens, but I guess it's something I'll just have to put up with.
Hope you're all doing well and having a good day!

"And not only the ocean water God set a boundary for, but also the earth".
Psalm 104:5 fearnot, look at her post again. (I've quoted it here above yours) But first look at this as I've copied most of it here: The first line you see is actually the last line of her first paragraph. Notice that right after that line she posted which scripture she thought of - Jeremiah 5:22. If you hover your mouse over Jeremiah 5:22 you'll see the NIV translation of scripture. She then posts that scripture but uses a different translation. Next she says that what was true about the water is also true about the earth and again posts what scripture she's talking about. Again, if you hover your mouse over Psalm 104:5 you will see what the scripture says about the earth according to the NIV translation.. Again, she's posted a different translation of that verse, but it doesn't match any of the 31 Bibles I have so I'm not sure which version she's quoting from. But regardless of the version she's using, it's very close to both the KJV and the NIV and NASB.
As I watched the storm surge of water I was reminded of scripture.
Jeremiah 5:22
Do you not fear Me? declares the LORD. Do you not tremble before Me, the One who set the sand as the boundary of the sea, an enduring barrier it cannot cross? The waves surge, but they cannot prevail. They roar but cannot cross it.
And not only the ocean water God set a boundary for, but also the earth.
Psalm 104:5
He set the earth on its foundations, never to be moved.
I hope that helps.

I always find it interesting talking to people who say they are athiests...
Because I have a technical background, I use maths to talk to technical people.
The number of times I have seen God do a "1 in a million" occurrence, I have lost count of.
Amen

Seven, are there still people gathering in the streets at night, I haven't seen it on the news, but I haven't been watching the news and I also think it might be happening but not put on the news anymore, I am wondering if in the main places like LA, Seattle, Portland ... if this will continue, I know someone that said there will be a race war.
The last time I drove to town I had the problem that my truck did not want to idle, so I have went from not being able to control a high idle awhile ago, to not having it idle at all, when I had to stop at a stop sign I had to shift into neutral and give the truck gas while stopped and I was able to drive home with out the truck dying. That means the fuel pump is going out on the truck. Today we will take the bed off of the truck and do the repair work, also while the bed is off the truck we will put on a new muffler and catalytic converter. So you can feel sorry for me if you want to, lol I will be slaving away, but not all in one day and the weather is cooler now, though we still do run our air conditioner everyday because the temp. gets as high as 90*, still.

Good morning all! Thank you for your prayers Lulu!
Amen Steve! I totally agree!
Jenn and the kids were here yesterday instead of the weekend, and we enjoyed being with them as always. Elijah is getting excited to go on his first hunt with Grandpa over the 24th and 25th as that's when NH has Youth Hunting Weekend. Then a 14 year old can go hunting with an adult for their first time, and get a chance to shoot a deer. Gracie will have to wait a few years until she'll be old enough for that. Elijah was excited that he was going to get to spend the night here on Friday and Saturday...until he found out it was because he has to get up at 4 am! I remember when he was just a toddler and he spent the night and slept with me... Well he slept in my bed and I sat at my desk and posted on FH and watched him sleep LOL He's a big boy now so this time he will be sleeping on the couch!
Do any of you drink the Celestial Seasonings Herbal Teas? Elijah and Grace have really gotten into drinking tea since they tried my southern sweet tea. So a few weeks ago I got them two different samplers of the Celestial Seasonings teas and they really like some of them. Then this week I got them one that used to be my favorite. It's called Bengal Spice. I gave it to them and Elijah made some and they all loved it. He had to make another cup for his mom too! They really do have some very good teas. You might want to check them out if you enjoy that kind of thing.

That looks like a well made movie about Princess Diana. I could not watch it though, it would be a sad and dark story.
I will see if I can watch the stolen U-Haul pursuit, the last video did not play, maybe this one will.

Kelly, when you said that they think that guy has emotional problems, it reminded me that God says everyone who's not saved has a corrupted mind and conscience: “To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.” (Titus 1:15)
Lulu, I love that picture!
Well Bruce is off to get his injections. I'm praying they take away the pain for him.

Good Morning all! I'm kind of excited because I believe the doctor has discovered not only why I was/am losing my hair, but also why I sleep so much and can't seem to wake up in the mornings, as well as a number of other problems I've been having! The blood tests indicated that I have Hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid)! So they called in another prescription for me and I started taking it this morning. What a relief! I had asked her if it could be my thyroid, and was hoping that was the problem, but had no idea that was why I have the problem with sleeping! I know that my thyroid levels have been low in the past, but when they did another test, the next test came back "normal". Since I didn't know any of the symptoms, I never said anything as I didn't care. Knowing about it now though, I know that the first abnormal test was about the time I started losing my hair, and that was maybe 8 years or more ago! I also discovered that one of the causes of Hypothyroidism is RA! (It seems like RA causes everything!) I don't know how long it takes for the pill to start clearing up the symptoms, but I can't wait to wake up like a normal person and be wide awake again. The doc did tell me it would probably take several months before I'd see a difference in my hair, but she said that's because it's so long... Oh well, I'll have to wait and see, but I'm so glad I'm on my way to at least having these symptoms fixed! Cindy:
