LOL Anna you just narrowed my travel plans!!
( I don't really have any, except the rapture)
when you said:
"In Africa it can be 134 in the shade and like that also in Afghanistan".
Those places would be just a NO for me.....no thank you! 134 in the shade!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Hi everyone!
Those are all great movies Mark! I really enjoyed them anyway.
Lori, I'm sorry, I meant to tell you that I'd be praying for your mom, and just got sidetracked.
Off to the bible study!

lol Barbra, glad I was helpful in some small way. Yeah, online brother in Lord was in the Army on the ground fighting in one of those Desert Storm wars. He was in Baghdad said ground temp. was 160 and his boots were melting, no fish, birds, no life, no nothing, he said.
Good morning everyone, God bless you. I am also off to read the Bible.

I will for your mom Leigh....how old is she ( if that is allowed)....my mom always felt it was rude to ask a lady's age Personally, I don't mind telling my age.....as the saying goes, it is what it is?
Please let us know how she is doing and the results etc. Hello again. Just wanted to post an update on my mother. Thank you ALL for remembering her in your prayers!!
Mother did really well yesterday. We were at the hospital from 6:45 am until after 2:00. It was a long day but it actually seemed to go by pretty fast. I'm just thankful the hospital is allowing one family member into the waiting room for out-patient surgery patients, considering Covid.
The surgeon removed the lump plus three sentinel lymph nodes, which she said were small and "don't look worrisome." We go back on Friday to get the pathology results and find out if she'll need further treatment. For this particular type of cancer, the doctor said chemo and [sometimes] radiation is typically needed.
I really don't want her to have to go through that at her age, which is 79, to answer Barb. (She doesn't mind me telling you, just don't spread it around!) This type of cancer is rare in older women, the doctor said.
Mother is in good spirits though. I thought she'd be groggy and maybe fall asleep on the way home from the hospital, but no -- she marched in the house, straight back to her bathroom where she put on some make-up, fixed and SPRAYED her hair (she had been pretty distraught that they'd said "no hairspray" - among other things - before surgery), then ate a bowl of soup, then took some Tylenol -- all in that order.
Oh, and I also set off her security alarm when we returned from the hospital... just to add a bit of excitement to the day.
Anyway, she has a little more soreness today but hasn't needed prescription pain meds. We're getting ready to put on our masks and go out to the store so she can walk around and get some exercise.
Love to everyone and I'll be back to update later this week.

Aha Leigh, I will be 75 in Oct. ( assuming we are not raptured first) So your mom is just a few years older than I..... Like maybe 5 1/2 more or less.
I am soooooo glad to hear that all went so well!!!
Wow! You answered my question 7...I think
Your governor is saying family members cannot have Bible study in their own home with each other?????
Can that even be possible? I was thinking he had said no Bible study in church but at home?
Who is going to police that?
I understand when those is power say no going to church but I am not sure I could agree with not doing Bible study with hubby and/or Devon or when the other two children coming back from visiting their mom.
It just like I don't understand the 'thinking' about no singing hymns?
What I mean is,
Does singing carry the virus a further distance...... than talking?

With the news continually talking about co 19 people that get the sniffles from ragweed probably think they have co 19. I think so also, cabin fever = more car chases. I'll check it out, 3 hrs, will have to fast forward to the end.

Well offical my crazy state CA has more Corid 19 cases via KFI Radio news From new I read, it said in general, that there has been a miss representation of numbers due to hospital forms, because some people who are counted among those who have the virus were never tested, and some people who never stepped foot in a hospital are now dead due to COVID-19. I read that there are about 5500 dying from COVID-19 each day in America. That virus is now two types and that one can linger in the air for hours on end with smaller microns size then previously observed. That the virus is now spreading lung tissue of those who get it; and most of those who are having breathing issues from it are dying.

Attachment Deletedthey, meaning the hospitals, and mayors or elected officials INFLATE the covid numbers! Fear! To keep us in fear! or confused ,to keep us under control! Oh but not the protesters/rioters! They are free to do as their feelings lead them! Burn, loot, murder, burn down federal builders, businesses, WITH POEOPLE INSIDE, taking down statues, erasing our history, then when the federal government steps in they’re told to leave and treated like crap! They don’t, they’re there to do a job! The protester are the ones spreading the virus now! The officials were told NOT to ask if a new covid positive person was at a protest!??? They spit on people purposely! all the places in this country that are bad with Covid and the riots? Are democratic run! Connect the dots!

You might join a local protest? You are more spunky than I am. If I had a thought to protest, my second thought would be what will the ultra violet radiation level be on that day, and how long will I be in the sun? I would not make a good protester. lol

I am soooooo glad to hear that all went so well!!!
Thank you Barb! Mother will be 80 in January so you're about 4-1/2 years apart.
Mother had a follow-up today with the surgeon. Tumor margins are clear and no cancer found in the lymph nodes. Thank You Lord!!
Next she'll have a consult with a radiologist and an oncologist to see what they recommend as far as treatments. We appreciate prayers for wisdom for the doctors and us as we have more decisions ahead. (Well I guess Mother has to decide, but she listens to our input.) She'll continued to be followed by the surgeon for a couple of years.
Overall she seems to be feeling pretty good although she still has some pain and has had a few spells of lightheadedness, so I'm really thankful I was able to be here for the week. I'll head home tomorrow and my sister is coming in to spend a few more days.
Thank you THANK YOU all for remembering my dear mother in your prayers!!!

It's funny, I was first going to say 4 1/2 years.... but I am soooooo bad doing any kind of math ( even adding and subtracting sigh) that I thought again, and decided it was 5 1/2 years
sigh.....never did like math LOL
