I agree Cindy...I think I read 'experts' think cats can learn or know around 30 human words....

they KNOW a LOT more human words and understand them!!!
but....
just don't choose to let the humans know it .....
That's my story and I am sticking to it.
But I really believe it hahaha
I have noted, it might depend on the cat
how much time the human spends with them
and how much time we talk to them
I always love the idea that God is letting us live with mini lions
And Jesus even sort of took the idea of a lion as a symbol for Himself

There was book collector store in my local hood for 50 years what happen after 1992 California recessoion owner died and family sold the remaining book to local Cathoic church in my hood yeah I remember seeing long long time ago her books
BTW look like Governor Pat reilly may be on verge ordering new Shutdown on CA that mean everything shut down

Ha ha just found out that Jim Baker network got kick off KWHY 22.1 signal now they replace him with Classic movies and retro tv shows called Hollywood classic channel GOOD I rather see early John Wayne movies and Beverly hillbilles than the Charltan

Good morning FH, I am taking a 3 day weekend. Going to catch up on some reading and Shirley and I are having date night at the house. I thought I would make her dinner . Give her a break from cooking. Watch a movie. Just spending quality time with Shirley. She really deserves it since I have been working so much, lately.
Our Band have decided not to tour until 2021 due to 2nd wave of this virus. We may do a few local events if things change but seriously doubt it. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Blessed Weekend.

Good day. 
I was looking at the Pioneer woman vintage floral collection at walmart. I bought a wooden tea box and storage bowls with lids. I saw the mini casserole w/ lid set, four, with different color and design, only 20 dollars, but sold out, I hope that restocks, I would like to get that.

They love animals too so that was the topic of conversation at the time. Our little girl cat, Chloe, came in the room, looked around and meowed at me. Without even thinking of how it would look, (see..I often speak without thinking too lol... seriously though, I talk to my cats all the time) I replied to the cat saying, "If you want one of your toys you're perfectly capable of getting it out of your toy box yourself!" And then continued to talk to our company. At least I tried to continue our conversation...but almost immediately I heard her gasp and then squeal at her husband to look at the cat! I couldn't see anything wrong, but she and now her husband were both pointing at our cat and seemed super excited... Then I got it: Chloe had gone over to her toy box and was getting one of her favorite toys out of it, and they weren't used to seeing an animal respond to something they're told. (I bet I looked funny sitting there looking at my cat, then at the company, and back at the cat, etc, going back and forth between them trying to figure out what was wrong  ) They couldn't believe that Chloe would do what she was told. They asked if the cats ever put their toys away in the toy box. I had to admit that they're just like most kids that way. They have no problem taking them out, but it's pretty rare for them to put them back in the box!
I have another story about our 17 year old cat for you too. She knows she's not allowed on the kitchen table if anyone is eating there. (we usually eat in the living room, except for when the kids are here and then we eat at the table.) Anyway, she was on the table watching me clean up the kitchen. When I was done I decided to have breakfast, so got some cereal and sat down at the table with it. (which Is exceptionally rare for me to do.) I wanted Angel to stay where she was on the table so I could continue to spend time with her as she hadn't been getting much attention lately, so told her to stay. I didn't stop to think that I was now telling her to do something she known for 17 years was wrong.  She looked a bit confused sitting there on the table, right in front of me... but then suddenly, just a few seconds after I sat down with the cereal, she made a decision. She continued to stay on the table like I'd asked her too, but walked across to the other side and sat down with her back to me! And there she remained until I finished eating and put my bowl in the sink! I couldn't believe it. That was actually an excellent way for her to solve the problem and was obviously something she thought out. Good morning FH, I am taking a 3 day weekend. Just loved them.
Both Leonard and I talk to our cat(s) all the time, it does not matter what people are about....I thought everybody did that?
See just my point, Chloe did know exactly what you said!!!
And Angel's solution was perfect!! LOL
You can tell us all the cat stories you like, I LOVE them!!! :)

I think I saw same dude on National Geographic channel yeah it somewhere in Far east Russia where you got be friendly with the animals or they eat you
We have crazy car chase here in SO CAL TOO this dude they thought they lost in mountain he came on 215 get back to 118 freeay then they caught the dude coming off 15
Don't ask it I think about well they came into hour in car chase helicopter I am do disappointed with KCAL what Family Feud reruns are more important shame on you

Well hello everyone. This is your errant chat-girl popping in to say hello and ask for prayer. My mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump during the quarantine... she had to wait for things to open back up before getting in to see the doctor, and you know how long it takes between appointments once they get started checking on a problem. She found out it was malignant a couple of weeks ago, but didn't want my sister or me to say anything publicly. She finally put out a prayer request to her church family yesterday, so I'm free to post about it now. I drove over to GA today to spend the week and take her for surgery in the morning (9:45 EST). They are doing a lumpectomy and sentinel node removal to see if it has spread. Please keep her in your prayers for safety during surgery and of course we hope that the doctor can get it all. We have to leave for the hospital in about 7 hours so I need to try and get some sleep (yet I don't feel sleepy!). I will try and come back tomorrow to post an update. Thank you!! |

I will pray for your mom Leigh....how old is she ( if that is allowed)....my mom always felt it was rude to ask a lady's age
Personally, I don't mind telling my age.....as the saying goes, it is what it is?

BTW update on my job look like I going spent half a day at my job for time being start August 25 week only going be 7am to 12pm 2 day out of the week no word yet on those day there possiblty I may have do distance working at the my job I do have home office that I set up one of my bedroom see the house I live in it 4 bedroom 2 bath so I have my home office in one of the bedroom where the childruea dog of mother think that her bedroom she only be in there in evening hour
I be fine cool thing I get pay with full health benefit they try it out for four month get back to me I really want get back to work I think I going stir crazy

Good Monday morning, God bless all. I am doing a Bible study and prayer. Hope all is well, staying indoors or outdoors watching birds, and a hope of being able to go back to work even if it is for only a few hours.
I have heard that the closer a person lives to the absolute equator; the hotter it is. In Africa it can be 134 in the shade and like that also in Afghanistan.

I agree with you Cindy. To many lives at risk to tour . Shirley picked our movies this weekend. She and I watched " The Notebook" on Friday, Saturday, Shirley picked, A Walk to Remember, and last night she let me pick and we watched, I Can Only Imagine. I cooked dinner , all weekend.
