I hope you all had wonderful Easters. We surely did! Bruce and I started our Easter by joining our church live on facebook. It's great as you get to sing (Pastor sends us the words to the songs a couple of days before the service), take communion (Pastor and his wife brought communion to everyone's house leaving it in plastic bags on the doorknobs. They sent us pictures of themselves doing that wearing masks and gloves lol) and then of course we listened to the sermon. After that, we did pretty much what we do every year... I grabbed Gracie's Easter bucket, and Bruce got Elijah's and we proceeded to hide 48 plastic eggs I'd filled with candy the night before. Each of the kids got 24 eggs. We made sure they each got the same amount by putting their initials on each egg. So they can only pick up an egg they find if it has their initials on it; if it doesn't, they can't tell their sibling where it is! They've been following those rules since they were each toddlers so they're used to it. Then we got to relax for 15 minutes before they got to our house. After that it was the usual mass chaos  as the kids immediately grabbed their baskets and went in search for their eggs. When they think they've found them all, they count how many they have and it's always less then 24. So at that point their parents, Jenn and Bob, start telling them hints, like saying "cold" or "hot" or other similar clues. We have to do that or we'd never find them all! They finally got them all and by then Bruce was cooking hot dogs and sausages on the grill for everyone. We normally have a big Easter dinner, but a couple of weeks ago decided we shouldn't do that.... we were still thinking this virus would be over "soon". But once we both understood just how long this stay at home and don't get near anyone could last, we knew we couldn't stay away from Jenn and her family till after August or September or even later. So Bruce decided we'd just go ahead and do what we normally do with them and treat them as though they were living with us. Anyway, after we ate, the kids grabbed their rifles and went outside to shoot at their target. They're getting really good. Yesterday I think they each only missed the target once or twice. All the rest of their shots hit the target, with the majority of them hitting the bullseye! I don't have to remind them to put the safety on when their turn is over any more either. They even practiced shooting from different postures...sitting, kneeling, and standing. (too muddy to try laying down lol) It sure felt good to have them with us though. I'd really, really missed them! I didn't want them to go home!
Seven I wondered where you were. My laptop computer got repaired today, nice to have if I want to take it to a library in the future and use it there. I think all that rain will miss us here, but we have some squirrely wind, so somewhere will get a storm tomorrow or Saturday. At 8 tonight I will listen to Michael as he will be a guest speaker asked questions and will answer, questions about space weather and incoming space debris to arrive on around May 10th... I used to make a good potato soup, enjoy the potato soup with your family. I have decided to do a Bible study on the book of Thessalonians, I will save to documents on my computer.  Ron looks like a bandit!  I have four masks but they're just for dust. I use them when I clean the litter boxes. Even with the 99% of the dust gone from them, there's still enough to bother my lungs, so had to get those. They're just cloth, like the ones you guys are wearing.
oops, it was supposed to copy your post too Kelly. I was just going to say it's been raining here almost constantly for days now. But God intervened and gave us a beautiful Easter!

I been wearing masks and rubber gloves outside if I go to RX or Stater bros around the house if I am in or the backyard of my house I go barefaced or no gloves
There is report coming out of local news that maybe school district wont reopen until late August that they saying now so I get rest of May and perhaps mid part of August off just develop on the news wire so I am not sure YET
I keep you posted I been breaking news via CBN news about Israel develop some medicine for Cordonavirus with testing and drugs they may send to the good ole USA Pence made a deal

BTW I don't know about you folks but my local Church going cancel Vacation bible school they don't want take a chance so no Vacation bible school in month of July maybe next year they not sure yet they don't want take a chance
I hear from another neighbor because of virus her 8 year old son may not go to camp this year in Angeles National forest because of virus too local Cathoic archidosoe don't want chance it people are skittish right now

This is a Bible study I did this morning, of Acts 17 together with 1 Corinthians 1 and 2.
Comparing the wisdom of God against the wisdom of the world.
When apostle Paul was in Athens Greece, Acts 17:15-22 philosophers learned from the teachers Plato, Aristotle .... called Paul a babbler when he spoke about of a strange God to them. The philosophers thought it was foolishness and took him to the highest court of the land Areopagus and asked him what he was talking about. 24 and 25 Paul tells them about God. Acts 18:1 After that Paul departed Athens he went to Corinth. Paul talks to the church of Corinthians about his experience of when he was in Athens in 1 Corinthians verse 20. saying God has made foolish the wisdom of this world. 21- "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." After the Roman empire had dominated, they still did not know God. It pleased God to reveal to man by preachers what could not be known by any other means. Paul summarizes by saying 1 Corinthians 1:30 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. As Paul continues in chapter 2 he compared the simplicity of his preaching to the enticing words of man's wisdom. 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Well it offical in my neck of the hood
My school district just anounced because of virus everything going be closed with social distancing and the school district would have extend distant learning to May 31 that be it they plan reopen the school in late August
They want me get back my LA Gangstra butt in the office clean up my office then I am shut down for the rest of the year until late August now good news I get paid for time on my butt no work just sit at home binge watch Netflix or You tube tv
Seriosuly I would say if I get sick still get my health insurance

BTW they also offering summer school for kids who need it what they going used that grade to grade the kids from mid March before shutdown give them passing grade or else lawsuit city by some West LA Yenta parents everybody get pass no matter what

A lot of pain and suffering did that...That's how it works. It's math.

if they let other businesses operate similarly.

And he has been warning us about China looong before he even announced his presidency. He closed down the borders and all the LIBERALS called him a racist, for it. And they are blaming him for the virus. He didn't cause it, but he's doing what any one man can do to stop it. So, if you want to place blame, blame it on the country that put it out there! CHINA!
