This is really turning into outbreak
Public health officials in China have locked down three cities in the central part of the country in response to a new, deadly coronavirus that has already claimed 17 lives and infected hundreds more.
More than 570 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed across China with new cases popping up in nearby countries, including two in Hong Kong, and one in the U.S. The CDC confirmed Tuesday. In response, Chinese officials have shut down the roads, trains and flights going in and out of Wuhan, where 11 million people make their home. Similar travel restrictions were enacted in the neighboring cities of Huanggan and Ezhou.
The new coronavirus, known as 2019-nCoV, belongs to a family of viruses that include things like the common cold, to SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). The virus is likely spread through tiny droplets when a person coughs or sneezes and symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. Severe cases can lead to pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and death

Good idea PM Japan to advise citizens not to travel to Hubei Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi says the ministry will swiftly raise the infectious disease warning for China's Hubei Province to the second-highest level of three. Hubei is home to the city of Wuhan, where infections of the new strain of coronavirus are centered. Motegi told reporters on Friday that the ministry will urge Japanese citizens to refrain from traveling to Hubei Province. www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20200124_43/

And this probably reason Japan confirms 2nd coronavirus case Japan's health ministry has confirmed the country's second infection of the new coronavirus strain currently spreading in China. The virus was detected in a man in his 40s visiting Tokyo from Wuhan. The inland Chinese city has been hit by a pneumonia outbreak that is likely caused by the virus. The virus was also detected on January 15 in a Chinese national who visited Wuhan. The man in his 30s lives in Kanagawa Prefecture, near Tokyo. www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20200124_12/

Remember the SARS outbreak in 2002-2003, this virus is in the same family and how many did SARS Kill? around 800 globally? but whole communities died because of SARS. The US has coffins ready for any large scale deaths, bio-contaminated bodies can be quite deadly, the usa is ready with more than a few incineration sites on bases, even have mobile incineration railroads cars, TX and AZ have the largest sites.

Well speaking of Wuhan I have heard there is price gouging of food and food robberies as there is a food shortage now because of the virus. I think the people now want to wear face masks, which have sold out and also get enough food to bug in.

And this just happen China to ban overseas group tours from the country Travel agencies in China are to stop organizing group trips to other countries from Monday amid the spread of the new coronavirus. The agents will also suspend sales of packages of hotels and airline tickets for the time being at the request of the Chinese government. They have yet to disclose how long these measures will continue. But they will likely affect Japan's tourism industry because the country is a favorite destination for Chinese travelers. www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20200126_06/

WHOA ALL Region of CHINA WHOA now official 2020 version of SARS See I said it Coronavirus: Death toll rises as virus spreads to every Chinese region The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak has risen to 170, and a confirmed case in Tibet means it has reached every region in mainland China. Chinese health authorities said there were 7,711 confirmed cases in the country as of 29 January. Infections have also spread to at least 15 other countries. The World Health Organization (WHO) will meet on Thursday to consider again whether the virus constitutes a global health emergency. Various countries have implemented evacuation and quarantine plans for nationals wanting to return from China, where the outbreak began in the city of Wuhan. Russia has decided to close its 4,300km (2,670-mile) far-eastern border with China in an attempt to stop contagion. www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-51305526
