At a press conference in Krun, Germany, after meeting with the Iraqi prime minister there, President Obama told reporters that the United States doesn't have "a complete strategy" for defeating the Islamic terror group ISIS:

When a finalized plan is presented to me by the Pentagon, then I will share it with the American people. We don't yet have a complete strategy because it requires commitments on the part of the Iraqis as well about how recruitment takes place, how that training takes place. So the details of that are not yet worked out.

The effectiveness of training and relying on Iraqi soldiers to combat ISIS is in serious doubt following last month's fall of Ramadi in Iraq to ISIS.

Did he think we didn’t know that? He went on to blame Iraq for his failures — he pulled out all of our soldiers after Iraq despite their plaintive pleas for a status of forces agreement.

They needed help. Obama said no.

Obama had a complete strategy for nationalizing healthcare.

But the Islamic State, which is engaging in the wholesale slaughter of Christians and non-Muslims across the Middle East, slaughtering journalists, aid workers, taking over country after country… Obama shrugs.
