Only God can fill the void in our hearts, minds, spirits and souls, that aching desire for love that won't betray or hurt us. He will renew us constantly as we fill our hearts and minds with His Word and thoughts of Him. God lifts us out of the pit of servitude to Satan, our flesh & the world, & fills us & sustains us with His love, new life and joy. That filling, that renewing, is similar to feeling young and energized again like the picture of an eagle that's been renewed.
“who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:5)
“then his flesh is renewed like a child’s; it is restored as in the days of his youth. He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God’s face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state.” (Job 33:25–26)
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:29–31)
“like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions.” (Deuteronomy 32:11)
“They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.” (Psalm 84:7)
