Obama’s boast: ‘I am the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat’ in the Oval Office
By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Tuesday, June 2, 2015
President Obama once confided to a top adviser that he believes he is “the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office.”
In an interview by an Israeli TV station, former Obama adviser David Axelrod recalled the president venting in a moment of contemplation about criticisms that he doesn’t support Israel strongly enough, JPupdates.com reported.
“You know, I think I am the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office,” the president told Mr. Axelrod. “For people to say that I am anti-Israel, or, even worse, anti-Semitic, it hurts.”

White House steps carefully around Obama’s reported ‘closest thing to a Jew’ comment
By Times of Israel staff June 4, 2015
The White House on Tuesday partly endorsed comments attributed to US President Barack Obama by a former top adviser, who told Israel’s Channel 2 that the president shares the “common bonds and commons values” of the Jewish community.
However, Spokesman Josh Earnest did not go so far as to confirm ex-Obama senior adviser David Axelrod’s recollection that the president said he considered himself “the closest thing to a Jew” who’s served in the Oval Office.
Earnest was responding to inquiries during a press briefing about remarks made by Axelrod to Channel 2.
“You know, honestly, he said, ‘I think that I am the closest thing to a Jew who’s ever sat in this office. All my values, the people who shape me, and, you know, for people to suggest that somehow I would be anti-Israel or, worse, anti-Semitic, it hurts’,” Axelrod recalled Obama saying in comments which aired on Monday, a day ahead of an extensive interview with Obama broadcast by the station on Tuesday.
Earnest said that “I think anybody who listened to the speech that the President delivered at Adas Israel (synagogue) just a week or so ago heard pretty clearly from the president the kinds of common bonds and common values that are embodied in his administration that are advocated by the Jewish community.”
The White House spokesman said “the president does feel that kind of kinship” with the Jewish people thanks to the US’s close ties with the Jewish state and foundation on Judeo-Christian values.

Barack Obama: Born-Again Jew
June 5, 2015 by Daniel Greenfield
Obama introduced himself to the nation as the son of black and white parents. He has gone back and forth between Christianity and Islam like a philanderer in a bar.
Now he has added a third religion and race to complete his identity politics trinity.
At the last White House Chanukah dinner, he claimed to have a Jewish soul. At a synagogue speech last month, he called himself “an honorary member of the tribe”. Now his former senior advisor has quoted him as saying, “I think I am the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office.”
Of course Barack Obama has also been Irish. He stated, “I consider myself an honorary Italian, because I love all things Italian”. Newsweek dubbed him “The First Woman President” in 2008 for “bending gender conventions” and promoted him to “The First Gay President” four years later. Cabinet Secretary Lu and Congressman Honda argued that he was “The First Asian American President”.
If you make up an ethnic group or race, by tomorrow Barack Obama will be a member of it. By next week, he will be lecturing it on why it isn’t living up to their shared values.
Obama’s Jewish toadies, like his multicultural frog pond toadies of all races and ethnicities, have been trying to sell Barack Obama as a “Born-Again Jew” for seven years.

Ben Carson: Yes, Obama Is Anti-Semitic
By Gil Ronen 8/16/2015
Republican presidential candidate and retired neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson accused President Barack Obama Sunday of being anti-Semitic, as evidenced by Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.
Carson told Fox News Sunday, in response to a question on his criticism of the Iran deal, : “Well, all you have to do, Chris, is, like I have, go to Israel, and talk to average people, on all ends of that spectrum. And I couldn’t find a single person there who didn’t feel that this administration had turned their back on Israel. And I think the position of president of [the] United States should be one where you begin to draw people together behind a vision, not one where you castigate those who believe differently from you. I think it’s a possibility for great healing, if it is used in the correct way.”
When asked what specifically is anti-Semitic in what Obama said,” Carson replied, “I think anything is anti-Semitic that is against the survival of a state that is surrounded by enemies, and by people who want to destroy them. And to sort of ignore that, and to act like everything is normal there, and that these people are paranoid, I think that’s anti-Semitic.”

Obama: It 'Hurts' when I'm Accused of Being Anti-Semitic
By Elad Benari 9/1/2015
President Barack Obama says it hurts him personally when he is accused of being anti-Semitic.
Speaking to the Forward, Obama answered “Oh, of course” when asked if those accusations hurt him.
“And there’s not a smidgen of evidence for it, other than the fact that there have been times where I’ve disagreed with a particular Israeli government’s position on a particular issue,” he continued.
“And I’ve said before, and I will continue to say, that if you care deeply about Israel, then you have an obligation to be honest about what you think, the same way you would with any friend. And we don’t do anybody, any friend, a service by just rubber-stamping whatever decisions they make, even if we think that they’re damaging in some fashion,” said Obama.
“[T]he good news,” he continued, “is that the people I’m close to, the people who know me, including people who disagree with me on this issue, would never even think about making those statements. I get probably more offended when I hear members of my administration who themselves are Jewish being attacked.”
