Trump: Kim agreed to complete de-nuclearization
David Rosenberg, 12/06/18
President Donald Trump addressed reporters Tuesday at a press conference following his historic meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un at the Capella Hotel in Sentosa, Singapore.
Following the 45-minute meeting, Trump and Kim sat down for a signing ceremony, putting their signatures to a document both sides described as “historic”, without revealing any details.
Shortly after the signing, President Trump promised to reveal the nature of the agreement at today’s press conference.
At the conference, Trump touted the signing of the agreement, saying it was the result of three months of negotiations between the US and North Korea, as well as 24 “tremendous” hours of work between the US and North Korean delegations since their arrival in Singapore for Tuesday’s summit.

BREAKING: The Trump-Kim Summit in Singapore was definitely “historic.” Will it also prove successful? Here are 7 things you need to know.
By joelcrosenberg June 12, 2018
There’s no question the Singapore Summit between President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un has been “historic,” as Mr. Trump noted in his press conference. [Click here for full transcript.] Never before have the most senior leaders of the United States and North Korea ever met face to face, and they have certainly never before shaken hands or embraced each other so warmly.
The question concerns the actual motives and intentions of the regime in Pyongyang.
1. Is North Korea putting on a big show to buy time to build even more advanced and dangerous nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles?
2. Or is the Chairman truly serious about completely dismantling and abandoning his nuclear weapons program and long-rang ballistic missiles and determined to make a comprehensive and lasting peace with the U.S., South Korea and his Asian neighbors?
Simply put, the Summit has not answered these questions.
As I wrote in a March 9th Tweet: “Count me skeptical. The chances of North Korea truly giving up its nuclear weapons and ICBM development program are low. More likely, Pyongyang is playing for time to complete missiles that can reach the U.S. But President Trump is right to be willing to explore NK intentions.”
For now, I stand by this view. I’m not a cynic. If the miracle we have long prayed for is coming to pass and Chairman Kim really proves to be serious, we should all rejoice and thank God and all who worked to make this day possible. But we need to be honest: we simply don’t have enough evidence yet to say the danger has passed and peace has come.
The pictures and headlines out of Singapore are remarkable. The details contained in the agreement — so far — are less so.

Report: North Korea Building New Ballistic Missiles
ByHank Berrien
Recent satellite photos indicate that North Korea is constructing new missiles in Sanumdong, where a factory produced the country’s first intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the United States.
It appears that work is continuing on one and possibly two liquid-fueled ICBMs at a large research facility, according to The Washington Post. The Post stated, “The Sanumdong factory has produced two of North Korea’s ICBMs, including the powerful Hwasong-15, the first with a proven range that could allow it to strike the U.S. East Coast. The newly-obtained evidence points to ongoing work on at least one Hwasong-15 at the Sanumdong plant, according to imagery collected by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in recent weeks.”
In addition to the photos showing the factory at work, other photos showed supply trucks and other vehicles traveling to and from the factory.
