EMERGENCY PRAYER REQUEST!! Please pray for Bruce. He's been in a motorcycle accident and has been life-flighted to a Massachusetts hospital. Please keep Bruce and Cindy in your prayers!!!
I'm sure Cindy cannot come here to ask, but she did post on Facebook, asking for prayer, so for those of you who don't have FB, I wanted to make sure as much prayer goes out for Bruce as we can get!!
I don't know any more than this, at this time. Cindy said Bruce is conscious, but she didn't know the extent of his injuries at the time she posted.

Thank you Cheryl! Leonard just saw that on FB as well. we are praying for Bruce, but also Cindy. I know she is trusting our Lord, but this still has to be a shock!
Hopefully (prayerfully) the fact he is conscious is a good sign.

Here are all of Cindy's updates from FB: Last night: Bless you all! My oldest daughter, Michelle has been at the hospital with Bruce. She just called and told me that it looks like he has a concussion and a couple of broken ribs. They're keeping him overnight for observation, and he may be able to come home tomorrow!!! Bruce had ridden his bike to see one of his friends, Willy. The accident happened right after he left to come home. Willy heard it, and ran out to see what it was. He saw the motorcycle quite a way from Bruce. Bruce had been thrown a long way off the road into a pile of boulders. He was unconscious for a few minutes, and when he came to, Willy had a hard time keeping him still. Once the paramedics left with Bruce, Willy and his daughter came here, bringing me what was left of Bruce's favorite jacket, his wallet, glasses, etc. I have to thank the Lord that He made sure Willy heard the crash, because Willy said you couldn't see either Bruce or the bike from the road. So no one would have known anything was wrong. I know too that the Lord is hearing all our prayers and is blessing us greatly with His loving care of Bruce. I'll let you all know more as I learn it, but as late as it is, it will probably be tomorrow. Thank you again, and please keep praying with me for a full and quick recovery for Bruce. ========= Just talked to Michelle again and they discovered that Bruce has some fractures in his lower spine. Looks like we're going to be twins hobbling around for awhile. Also, his heart rate and rhythm were off when he first came in, but they were able to take care of that right away and it's been fine since. Just to be sure though they're doing an ultrasound on his heart in the morning. He's still waiting for his room. I got to talk to him for a couple of minutes but he was really out of it as they had given him a pain med. He did ask about his bike. I didn't have the heart to tell him it's totaled, so just told him truthfully that Willy has it in his garage. I could tell that was a relief to him. Sorry I didn't tell you about the fractures and heart thing earlier, but I couldn't remember for sure about them and wanted to wait till I had double checked about them before I said anything. Again, thank you for your prayers, and please keep them coming. The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. There's nothing stronger or better we can do! May God bless each of you for your prayers! ============ This afternoon at 2:44pm central time:
Update on Bruce: I just got home from the hospital. He has fractures in his neck and lower back and upper right arm, and a couple of broken ribs. He also has a pneumothorax, which is air outside his lungs. His heart rate and rhythm were way off and they had to kind of reboot his heart last night. It's doing fine now though, so at least one thing is in his favor. He's still in the ER as they didn't have a room available . We're hoping he will be in one soon. Please keep praying for him as he's in a lot of pain, and for God to continue to be our provision. Thank you all so much. I hope I tagged everyone that wanted to be updated. If I missed someone, I'm sorry but my brain isn't working to well. ============= 45 minutes ago (10:53 pm central time):
Thank you all so much. The doctor and one of the nurses kept saying that every time they see him they're surprised all over again at how well he is and how good he looks, because he "should be" a whole lot worse. I know the reason for that is because of all your prayers. I tried to go to bed, but I'm paying for all the walking I did today, which is actually another miracle. Normally I shouldn't have even been able to stand up, much less walk, shortly after arriving at the hospital. But I made it through the whole day! Another blessing from our Lord.

Update on Bruce: He sounds better today and the doctors are very pleased with his progress. We deeply appreciate all the prayers and hope you'll keep them coming. He's at U Mass Medical in Worcester and has his own phone if anyone wants to call him tomorrow. I know he's starting to feel better as he's starting to get ornery, lol. I'm hoping to get to see him tomorrow evening, and since it's a long drive will probably wait till Saturday to update again, hopefully with continued improvement. The one thing the docs are afraid of is if he were to get pneumonia, and that's fairly common, so we really need prayer protection for that especially. Thanks everyone. God bless you all!

For everyone who has prayed for our dear friend, and brother in Christ. THANK YOU!! Your prayers have been heard! Bruce is home, from the hospital, miraculously sooner than expected, from multiple injuries in a motorcycle accident, that doctors were amazed he survived. OUR GOD IS A MERCIFUL GOD!! And thank you for your continued prayers, because he does have a long road of healing yet to go. And please keep Cindy in your prayers, as well. She is a trooper, but we all know we can't do it without Christ. Thank you!
Please also add in your prayers for their financial needs. Bruce will not be able to return to work for a bit.
