Franklin Graham says Christians Should be Alarmed by Anti-Christian Rhetoric on “The View”
By Todd Starnes February 17, 2018
Evangelical leader Franklin Graham said on the Todd Starnes Radio Show that every Christian in the nation should be offended and alarmed by recent anti-Christian rhetoric that was broadcast on ABC’s “The View.”
Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts of ABC’s “The View,” suggested last week that Christians who listen to the voice of God may be mentally ill.
“This is something reminiscent of what we saw during the second world war back in the 1930s with the rise of the Nazis. For Joy Behar to say that all Christians are mentally ill is like suggesting we need to lock them up. They need to be taken out of society because these people are a danger. These people are a threat,” Graham said on the nationally-syndicated radio show.
Graham, the president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said he could not believe ABC News would permit such dangerous rhetoric to be broadcast on national television.
“Every Christian who is listening right now – whether you are a Catholic, whether you are a Protestant – Baptist, Evangelical, – whatever you may be – Pentecostal – this should scare the socks off of you,” Graham said.

In Mocking Christians, Bully Bigot Joy Behar Claims She Was Only Joking
By Judi McLeod February 20, 2018
In fact, Behar and ABC are finding out the hard way that Jesus and his followers are no joke.
Some 25,363 and still counting telephone calls of complaint to ABC prove that loud and haughty Joy Behar’s non-apology: “I don’t mean to offend people but apparently I keep doing it. “It was a joke”, is insincere.
“This past week, Joy Behar from “The View” accused Vice President Mike Pence of “mental illness” because he says he hears from God. “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus, it’s another thing when Jesus talks to you. That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct,” said Behar.” (CBN, Feb. 18, 2018)
Mocking Jesus and all of those who believe in Him is no more acceptable today than it was when He was carrying his Cross to Golgotha two thousand years ago.
...
Anti-Christian bigots Behar and Hostin may have delivered us an unwitting favor. They may have curbed the easy out for all media talking heads and politicians from passing their bigotry off as ‘jokes’.
ABC will lose ratings because of the flagrant anti-Christian remarks coming from “The View” and will be forced, sooner or later, to deal with Behar’s inflammatory remarks.

ABC News star Joy Behar finally apologizes for anti-Christian remarks: 'Vice President Pence is right'
By Brian Flood | Fox News
ABC News star Joy Behar apologized for mocking Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith on Tuesday, ending a month of outcry stemming from remarks she made that have been called “slander” and “anti-Christian bigotry.”
Pence appeared on Fox News Channel's “Hannity” Monday evening, urging Behar to apologize to “tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended” during the conversation – and she obliged.
“I think Vice President Pence is right. I was raised to respect everyone’s religious faith and I fell short of that,” Behar said on Tuesday’s edition of “The View.”
“I sincerely apologize for what I said,” Behar added.
Behar’s controversial comments resulted in the Media Research Center launching a campaign to hold Behar accountable for spewing “anti-Christian bigotry” after she said that communicating with Jesus is a “mental illness” during a Feb. 13 episode of “The View” when discussing Pence’s faith.
