Guys I think it something up
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Pentagon says a Navy carrier strike group is moving toward the western Pacific Ocean to provide a physical presence near the Korean Peninsula.
North Korea's recent ballistic missile tests and continued pursuit of a nuclear program have raised tensions in the region, where U.S. Navy ships are a common presence and serve in part as a show of force.
On Saturday, President Donald Trump and South Korea's leader, Acting President Hwang Kyo-Ahn, spoke by phone. The White House said the two agreed to stay in close contact about North Korea and other issues.
The U.S. Pacific Command directed the carrier group to sail north to the western Pacific after departing Singapore on Saturday, according to a Navy news release. The carrier group includes the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, with support from several missile destroyers and missile cruisers.
Deployed from San Diego to the western Pacific since Jan. 5, the strike group has participated in numerous exercises with the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force and Republic of Korea Navy, various maritime security initiatives, and routine patrol operations in the South China Sea.

U.S. Navy strike group to move toward Korean peninsula: U.S. official
By Idrees Ali | WASHINGTON Apr 8, 2017
A U.S. Navy strike group will be moving toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula as a show of force, a U.S. official told Reuters on Saturday, as concerns grow about North Korea's advancing weapons program.
Earlier this month North Korea tested a liquid-fueled Scud missile which only traveled a fraction of its range.
The strike group, called Carl Vinson, includes an aircraft carrier and will make its way from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity.
"We feel the increased presence is necessary," the official said, citing North Korea's worrisome behavior.
The news was first reported by Reuters.

China warns war over N. Korea could erupt ‘at any moment’
By AFP April 14, 2017
BEIJING — A conflict over North Korea could break out “at any moment”, China’s foreign minister Wang Yi said Friday, warning there would be “no winner” in any war, as tensions soar with the US.
The sharp language came after President Donald Trump said that the “problem” of North Korea “will be taken care of”, as speculation mounts that the reclusive state could be preparing another nuclear or missile test.
“Lately, tensions have risen with the US and the ROK on one side, and the DPRK on the other, and one has the feeling that a conflict could break out at any moment,” Wang said, using abbreviations for South and North Korea.
“If a war occurs, the result is a situation in which everybody loses and there can be no winner,” he said during a joint press conference with his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault.

Wars And Rumours Of Wars - Foreign Sub Off The CA Coast And China Massing Troops
By PNW Staff April 11, 2017
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6
According to Korean news agency Chosun, the "Chinese army has deployed about 150,000 troops to the North Korean border to prepare for unforeseen circumstances."
The reason: the prospect of "military options", such as preemptive attacks on North Korea, like the one the United States launched on Syria.
Japan's daily newspaper Sankei said the attacks were taken in China as "warning" of a possible attack on North Korea and they are now preparing for the possibility of North Korean refugees should a conflict break out.
The Chinese deployment comes after one of President Trump 's military advisers confirmed they have been asked to come up with a list of options to smash North Korea's nuclear threat. The USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier strike group is now on it's way to the region.

US may launch pre-emptive strike on North Korea ahead of nuclear test
By AFP and Times of Israel staff April 14, 2017
he United States may launch a pre-emptive strike on North Korea if it goes ahead with a nuclear or missile test, a number of US intelligence officials told NBC news on Thursday.
Pyongyang has warned in recent of a “big event” which US officials believe is a nuclear weapons test or yet another missile test that could be launched as soon as this weekend.
The Pentagon told Reuters in response to the NBC story that the agency does not comment on possible attacks “nor publicly speculate on possible scenarios.”
“Commanders are always considering a full range of options to protect against any contingencies,” said Dana White, a Pentagon spokeswoman.
“Our commitment to the defense of our allies, including the Republic of Korea and Japan, in the face of potential threats, remains steadfast,” she said.

Japan readying for N. Korea emergency
By Hiroyuki Ishida / Yomiuri Shimbun Staff Writer April 13, 2017
The United States has deployed the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson to waters near the Korean Peninsula amid rising military tensions over North Korea. The Japanese government, which has asked the United States to provide advance consultation if it decides to launch military action against North Korea, has ramped up preparations for unexpected situations.
The Japanese government anticipates the possibility of a joint response with the United States should a contingency arise.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe stressed on Wednesday that the region is becoming increasingly tense. “[U.S. President Donald Trump] has stated that all options are on the table. It’s a fact tensions are rising,” he said at the Prime Minister’s Office after receiving a written proposal calling for tougher sanctions on North Korea from the Liberal Democratic Party’s Eriko Yamatani, chief of the headquarters for the abduction issue.
“If an unexpected situation occurs, we’ll ask the United States to cooperate in rescuing the abduction victims,” Abe added.
The Trump administration is reviewing U.S. policy toward North Korea and has not ruled out military options, including a preemptive strike. Tensions in the region have risen sharply since the United States carried out a missile attack on Syria on April 6.

North Korea warns of 'super-mighty preemptive strike' as U.S. plans next move
Apr 20, 2017
North Korean state media warned the United States of a "super-mighty preemptive strike" after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the United States was looking at ways to bring pressure to bear on North Korea over its nuclear programme.
U.S. President Donald Trump has taken a hard line with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who has rebuffed admonitions from sole major ally China and proceeded with nuclear and missile programmes in defiance of U.N. Security Council sanctions.
The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the North's ruling Workers' Party, did not mince its words.
"In the case of our super-mighty preemptive strike being launched, it will completely and immediately wipe out not only U.S. imperialists' invasion forces in South Korea and its surrounding areas but the U.S. mainland and reduce them to ashes," it said.
Reclusive North Korea regularly threatens to destroy Japan, South Korea and the United States and has shown no let-up in its belligerence after a failed missile test on Sunday, a day after putting on a huge display of missiles at a parade in Pyongyang.

Putin sends troops to Russia's border with North Korea after China also sends soldiers to its boundary over fears Trump will attack Kim Jong-un, sparking a tidal wave of refugees
By Will Stewart In Moscow for MailOnline 20 April 2017
Vladimir Putin is sending troops and equipment to Russia's border with North Korea over fears the US is preparing to attack Kim Jong-un.
The Russian President fears there will be a huge exodus of North Korean refugees if his American counterpart, Donald Trump, launches military action against Pyongyang.
It comes days after it emerged that China is also sending 150,000 soldiers to its southern frontier to cope with the tidal wave of North Koreans Beijing fears would flee across the border if war breaks out.
This morning, footage emerged appearing to show how Putin is reinforcing his 11-mile border with North Korea by relocating troops and equipment.

North Korea says ready to strike U.S. aircraft carrier
Sun Apr 23, 2017
By James Pearson and Ju-min Park | SEOUL
North Korea said on Sunday it was ready to sink a U.S. aircraft carrier to demonstrate its military might, as two Japanese navy ships joined a U.S. carrier group for exercises in the western Pacific.
U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group to sail to waters off the Korean peninsula in response to rising tension over the North's nuclear and missile tests, and its threats to attack the United States and its Asian allies.
The United States has not specified where the carrier strike group is as it approaches the area. U.S. Vice President Mike Pence said on Saturday it would arrive "within days" but gave no other details.
North Korea remained defiant.
"Our revolutionary forces are combat-ready to sink a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with a single strike," the Rodong Sinmun, the newspaper of the North's ruling Workers' Party, said in a commentary.

Senators Told North Korea Nuclear Threat Is Urgent
BY: Bill Gertz April 26, 2017
The Senate took part in a rare White House briefing on Wednesday to hear what senior leaders described as "an urgent national security threat" posed by North Korea's nuclear and missile programs.
The hour-long secret session for all senators was held at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, next to the White House, and included a brief appearance from President Trump who made short, introductory remarks.
Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, also took part in the session. His presence is an indication that military options for dealing with North Korea likely were discussed.
New steps by the administration will include the imposition of additional economic sanctions.
"The United States seeks stability and the peaceful denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. We remain open to negotiations towards that goal. However, we remain prepared to defend ourselves and our allies," Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and Director of Intelligence Dan Coats said in a joint statement after the briefing.
Trump's approach seeks to pressure North Korea into dismantling nuclear, ballistic missile, and proliferation programs through imposing tighter economic sanctions and diplomatic measures, the three leaders said.
The senior officials noted that past efforts to halt the North Korean illicit arms programs had failed.
"With each provocation, North Korea jeopardizes stability in Northeast Asia and poses a growing threat to our allies and the U.S. homeland," they stated.

by Hannity Staff
The Chinese government has deployed hundreds of thousands of troops and multiple mobile strike groups to its highly-guarded border with North Korea; a move signaling the communist regime fears a potential crisis between Kim Jong Un and the United States in the coming months.
According to South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo news, “China is preparing for a potential war on the Korean Peninsula by reinforcing missile defenses near the border with North Korea,” adding, “Military units in Yanbian were relocated from Heilongjiang Province, thus adding 300,000 troops along the border.”
News of the deployment comes just days before thousands of international visitors and tourists descend on the Korean peninsula for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
