I've been blessed for many years now to have a Logos Bible Library. It's been a true gift from the Lord and enabled me to grow and learn even faster due to all the theology books, commentaries, dictionaries, etc that are in my library linked to my bible. When I first saw Logos and their bible study library, I was on cloud nine. It was so great and I often recommended it to others. It was and is expensive, but since the Lord wants us to know His Word and understand it, He will always find a way to get it for us if we truly desire it and ask Him.
However, in the last 5 or so years, it's changed a lot and I have a problem recommending them now. My program is great, and if people could still get the same library that I have, I'd still be recommending it, but you can't get it anymore. The began going downhill a little at a time. Now with Logos 7 they include books with false teaching in them, and even heresy. They now cater to all religions that might want to look at the bible. You can get JW, SDA, Catholic, Mormon, or just about anything as an additional "library" for your Logos base package, but to start with you have to buy a "base package" first. When I got mine, there was no choice or additional libraries. All the books came with your base package so it wasn't even called a base package back then. I've checked their base packages and while they all have some good books, they also have some bad ones. Now you really have to use discernment to determine which books you're going to use and which you aren't when you buy one of their base packages or later if you buy one of their libraries that they have divided into denominations and cults. Of course I've added a lot of books to my library since I originally got it, and 90% of them I got for free over the years as they do offer free books regularly. Some of their freebies aren't any good now, but many of them are, so that's one way to add on to your library.
