America Became a Lot Less Christian During the Presidency of Barack Obama
Michael Snyder 1/13/2017
In 2006, Barack Obama famously said that "we are no longer just a Christian nation," and after the last eight years, that is now more true than ever.
The Pew Research Center has just released a major report entitled "How America Changed During Barack Obama's Presidency," and what struck me the most about the report was the fact that it showed the United States became a lot less Christian while Obama was in the White House. Of course, this trend did not begin under Obama, but it seems to have accelerated during his presidency.
In particular, the percentage of Americans who have no religion at all is growing rapidly. According to the report, "nones" now make up nearly a fourth of our entire population:
When it comes to the nation's religious identity, the biggest trend during Obama's presidency is the rise of those who claim no religion at all. Those who self-identify as atheists or agnostics, as well as those who say their religion is "nothing in particular," now make up nearly a quarter of the U.S. adult population, up from 16 percent in 2007.
Christians, meanwhile, have fallen from 78 to 71 percent of the U.S. adult population, owing mainly to modest declines in the share of adults who identify with mainline Protestantism and Catholicism. The share of Americans identifying with evangelical Protestantism, historically black Protestant denominations and other smaller Christian groups, by contrast, have remained fairly stable.
And these numbers don't just reflect a growing dissatisfaction with organized religion. The truth is that Americans are becoming less "spiritual" overall. Compared with 2007, fewer Americans believe in God, fewer Americans consider religion "to be very important in their lives," fewer Americans pray daily and fewer Americans attend religious services.
These trends are evident in all age groups, but the biggest shift is with millennials. According to the report, 11 percent of the Silent Generation are "nones," with 17 percent of the baby boomers, 23 percent of those in Generation X and an astounding 35 percent of all millennials included in this category.
As the older generations die off, America is changing, and not for the better.

There is going to be a witch spell vs. Christian prayer showdown over Trump's mortal fate
Jeva Lange February 23, 2017
What will you tell your grandchildren when they ask you whose side you were on in the great spiritual war of 2017? It might be time to start picking sides: On Friday, witches worldwide reportedly plan to "cast a spell that would bind Trump to all who abet him," and the folks at ChristianNationalism.com plan to fight back with "a Day of Prayer" to protect the president. ...
The witches are instructed by "writer, speaker, and magical thinker" Michael M. Hughes to cast their binding spell on every night of the waning crescent moon, such as the one tomorrow, using "an unflattering photo of Trump," the Tower card of a tarot deck, a pin or nail, a white candle, a feather, bowls of water and salt, matches, and a dish of sand. For anyone worried about their karma, Hughes writes that binding "seeks to restrain someone from doing harm" and is "differentiated from cursing or hexing, which is meant to inflict harm on the target(s)." The more you know!
In the other corner, ChristianNationalism.com commands "Christian soldiers" to counter the witchcraft by reading from Psalm 23. "We ask you to join us in praying for the strength of our nation, our elected representatives, and for the souls of the lost who would take up Satanic arms against us," the author writes.

Witches target Trump with mass occult ritual
WND EXCLUSIVE
It’s not just a political battle anymore. It’s spiritual warfare now.
Exorcists, witches and occultists “in a number of magical groups” are announcing plans for a ritual designed to “bind Donald Trump and all who abet him.”
It’s to happen Friday at midnight at a variety of locations across the nation, and again every month until Donald Trump is no longer in office.
The rite, requiring a stub of a candle, a pin, salt, matches, a tarot card, a feather and other odds and ends, calls on spirits to ensure President Trump will “fail utterly.” It also includes burning a picture of the commander in chief, visualizing him “blowing apart into dust or ash.”
Participants apparently have the option of using a baby carrot instead of an orange candle.
Among the various spirits invoked are the “demons of the infernal realms.”
There is even a Facebook page networking those who want to participate in the ritual. Some media outlets are also looking to film whatever happens.
It’s not the first time anti-Trump occultists have tried to use black magic against the president.

President 'doing something right' if critics resort to magic
WND EXCLUSIVE
A showdown last week that saw witches attempting to cast a spell on President Trump and Christians praying for his defense apparently is just the beginning of an ongoing spiritual battle.
The participants in last week’s occult ritual designed to “bind” Trump with the help of “demons of the infernal realms” are vowing to repeat the rite every month on “waning crescent moon ritual dates.”
Among the participants is singer Lana Del Rey, who instructed her more than 6.2 million Twitter followers to join the effort.
In response, many Christians are praying for Trump. Among those who urge a prayerful response is Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of the New York Times bestseller “The Harbinger” and “The Book of Mysteries.”
“It’s very revealing that Donald Trump has witches all over the world casting spells against him – while at the same time he has had born again Christians believers praying for him throughout the campaign until now,” he told WND.
“It would seem to say he’s doing something right.”

Witches 'Casting Spell' on Trump Is Real, Jesus Himself Warned of Dark Spirits: AFA
By Stoyan Zaimov, Christian Post Reporter Feb 28, 2017
Conservative radio host Bryan Fischer warned that threats of spiritual warfare and reports of witches placing curses on President Donald Trump should be taken seriously. He pointed to Jesus Christ who warned of "dark spirits" in the world.
Fischer, host of the "Focal Point" show on American Family Radio, said in an article for the American Family Association that Trump is facing a "spiritual war," citing news reports of self-proclaimed witches carrying out mass rituals against the American president.
The practicing witches gathered Friday at midnight to cast a collective spell, aimed at keeping Trump from "harming people and nature."
The witches said they would continue casting the spell every waning crescent moon until Trump is out of office.
"Please join us in a binding ritual this evening with many other covens and private practitioners," said W.I.T.C.H. Boston, one of the participating groups. "Create your own binding in accordance to your beliefs and power centers, or follow us as we practice a version of the binding that has been passed throughout the community."
Fischer argued that even though "so-called intellectuals" might scoff at the idea of demonic spirits and curses, the Bible warns that such dangers are real.
"Jesus, who knew more about the spirit world than all the intellectuals in the world put together, was under no illusions about the existence of the underworld and the mission of dark spirits who attack human beings," he wrote.
"A good part of His earthly ministry was spent delivering people from the power of demons," Fischer continued.
"This was not, as some think, a case of Jesus accommodating Himself to the misguided perceptions of his day. As He said on another topic, 'If it were not so, I would have told you' (John 14:2). Jesus came to earth to destroy superstition, not adapt to it."

Witches to cast spell on Trump … again!
Alicia Powe
WASHINGTON – Among the angry liberals who refuse to accept the 2016 presidential election results that put Donald Trump in the Oval Office are witches who will be gathering at midnight on Sunday to cast spells.
Again.
They already tried last month to conjure up magic to remove him from office.
Witches, exorcists and occultists say they again will cast a “binding spell” designed to “bind Donald Trump and all who abet him.”
Anti-Trump occultists performed the “mass spell” against the president last month under the hashtag #BindTrump. Witches nationwide shared photos and videos on Twitter of them placing their hex on Trump.
They say they will repeat the ritual on March 26 and on every crescent moon “until Donald Trump is removed from office,” according to the group’s Facebook page.

Rain melts witches' spells on Trump
Alicia Powe
NEW YORK – Witches, Satanists and occultists boasted of meeting Sunday at midnight under the crescent moon in front of Trump Tower, a second time, to partake in a “mass ritual” of casting a “binding spell” on President Donald Trump.
But nature took its course with a rainstorm that, well, you might say “dampened their spirits.”
In short, they were rained out.
Perhaps not quite as permanently as a predecessor in witchcraft lore, the Wicked Witch of the West, in “The Wizard of Oz,” whose demise came through a bucket of water sloshed at a burning scarecrow.
But nevertheless, a failed plan.

2 Ways You Can Respond to Witches Cursing Trump
Dave Williams 4/12/2017
It's called a "binding ritual," which, they say, is the spiritual equivalent of a judge blocking the president's actions. The Boston Globe even directs readers to links to perform the spells themselves.
Can you even imagine media outlets printing or providing links to an occult spell against our president?
Can you further imagine the media actually giving a witch's hints on how to invoke curses on the president of the United States?
You might expect this in a country where voodoo is venerated, but not in America.
Scripture deals very specifically with witchcraft.
"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has also rejected you from being king" (1 Sam. 15:23).
"And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?" (2 Kings 9:22, KJV).
The word "witchcrafts" here is plural: That means there are at least two distinct types or levels of witchcraft.
Paul tells us in Galatians 5:20 that the first category, the lowest level of witchcraft, will begin as a work of the flesh, which is the desire to control others. Some wish so desperately to control, they're willing to resort to occult practices as spirit-cooking, Ouija boards, and binding rituals.
Unless a person repents of the desire to control others—the fleshly level of witchcraft—they will subsequently plunge into a preternatural and dangerous level, attracting the realm of the demonic. Witchcraft as a work of the flesh will quickly shift into the demonic form of witchcraft, and could lead to demon-possession or deep demonic oppression in the one practicing it.
The Bible says that in the last days, "But evil men and seducers will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." (2 Tim. 3:13, MEV ).
Today, witches say they are uniting to rid the planet of President Trump through demonic incantations. They plan to meet every crescent moon to invoke their demonic rituals against the president and allege that additional spells will continue being cast until Trump is no longer president.

Witch Craft Failing at Toppling Trump
By Judi McLeod May 24, 2017
I put a prayer on you, “I-put-a-spell-on-you-Mr-President Diana Wagman. My prayer is not meant to harm you, but only to keep you and thousands of witches from succeeding at their task of spell-binding, through black magic, the President of the United States of America.
Prayer is so much more powerful than “A Spell to Bind Donald Trump and All Those Who Abet Him” under each waning crescent moon at midnight, and very much worth it.
People who pray, don’t need itty bitty orange candle stubs when speaking directly to the Almighty. They don’t have to wait for a waning crescent moon because they can pray any hour, night or day.
“I cast a spell on the president. I was not alone. (Diana Wagman, May 23, 2017) “Thousands of witches, believers and people like me all over the world performed “A Spell to Bind Donald Trump and All Those Who Abet Him” under the waning crescent moon last month. It was not meant to physically hurt him, only to keep him from succeeding at his tasks. Now he’s complaining he’s the object of a “witch hunt.” Maybe the spell is working.”
No, Ms. Wagman, it’s not the spell of you witches that’s working. It’s the demented Democrats and their running dog Mainstream Media that’s doing the witchy work.

Growing Number Of Witches & The Upcoming Hex On Justice Kavanaugh
By PNW Staff October 17, 2018
...Occultism was once understood to be a dangerous dabbling with the powers of darkness and evil, but in recent years has been painted in a morally ambiguous or even positive light. For those who know their Bible, witchcraft derives its power from Satan who is a past master at counterfeiting God's power and glory. The Bible is unambiguous in its warnings and prohibitions vis-à-vis witchcraft, and we ignore these words of caution at our peril. Satan tempts mankind with the promise of personal power derived from a source other than Almighty God. To accept this, or even to dabble in the occult, is to invite the perverse and evil where we should be worshipping the Lord. Sadly, millions of millennials are now vulnerable to this line of thinking and have fallen prey to this cult of Satan, thinking that they are merely expressing themselves.
Wanda Alger is field correspondent with Intercessors for America and a pastor at Crossroads Community Church in Winchester, VA. Speaking in an interview on the topic of spiritual warfare between adherents of witchcraft and Christianity, she said, "The sad thing is that these millennials who are exploring the dark side of the supernatural have more faith and belief than most Christians. Because they are open and spiritually hungry, the spirit realm responds. The biggest hindrance to understanding the realities of the spirit realm is unbelief."
The hallmark of the Last Days is deception and one of its manifestations among so many mainline protestant churches is this new fascination with the occult. It is the inevitable consequence when Christ has literally been forsaken and replaced by the Devil. And society, in hundreds of thousands of cases, doesn’t bat an eye. Justice Kavanaugh isn't the first, nor will he be the last political figure to incur their wrath.
