Nancy Pelosi: Democrats ‘Doing the Lord’s Work’

In case you missed it, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Democrats are “doing the Lord’s work.”
It’s hard to keep up with the frantic pace of liberal insanity that is currently flying at Mach speeds, so this particular soundbite almost passed us by. But thanks to a clip put up on YouTube, we can really see how much Pelosi thinks of herself.
Just over a week ago, the morning of Donald Trump’s inauguration, the congresswoman sat down with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Scarborough posed a question to Pelosi about the disconnect between Democrats and voters of faith whose values are completely ignored and frankly, stepped on by leftists. Her response is epic — in the worst way possible:
“When it comes to rural America, the isolation that some people feel, there, plus they don’t think that Democrats are people of faith when the fact is that we are. And I say — this will be a little, not in keeping with the spirit of the day of unity — but I say they pray in church on Sunday and they prey on people the rest of the week. And while we’re doing the Lord’s work, ministering to the needs of God’s creation, they are ignoring those needs which is to dishonor the God who made them.”
“So, we don’t wear religion on our sleeve, and maybe we should,” Pelosi suggested as a means to reconnect — after SLAMMING RURAL AMERICA! “We don’t wrap ourselves in the flag, but maybe we should.”
