Report: US secretly agreed to waive Iran nuclear restrictions
David Rosenberg, 01/09/16
The Obama administration may have secretly agreed to waive restrictions placed on the Iranian regime’s nuclear program as part of the landmark 2015 deal.
According to a soon-to-be-published report by the Institute for Science and International Security, the US and fellow negotiating partners secretly agreed to permit the Islamic regime to ignore some restrictions on its nuclear program, thereby paving the way for the removal of economic sanctions against the rogue state.
The report, which was reviewed by Reuters, was co-authored by the institute’s president, David Albright, cites government officials who participated in the negotiation process prior to the signing of the deal last July.
Albright, himself a former United Nation’s weapons inspector, told Reuters the US and its allies had colluded to create “loopholes” for the Iranian regime.
"The exemptions or loopholes are happening in secret, and it appears that they favor Iran," he said.

US Secretly Agreed to Ease Restrictions of Nuclear Deal, Allow Iran to Keep Uranium, Heavy Water
By Abra Forman September 1, 2016
“The secret things belong unto Hashem our God; but the things that are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29
The United States and the rest of the P5+1 powers secretly agreed to allow Iran to evade some of the restrictions placed upon it by last year’s landmark nuclear deal so that the deadline for sanction lifting would be met on time, according to a new report by a Washington think tank.
The report, reviewed by Reuters and published Thursday by the Institute for Science and International Security, was co-authored by former UN weapons inspector David Albright. Albright said the report is based on information from several government officials involved in the negotiations.
“The exemptions or loopholes are happening in secret, and it appears that they favor Iran,” Albright said, reported Reuters.
The loopholes were approved by the joint commission overseeing implementation of the deal, comprised of the US and the five other world powers involved in last year’s high-stakes nuclear negotiations – Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia.
Among the restrictions waived by the “secret” agreement were two that allowed Iran to keep more low-enriched uranium (LEU) than the deal permits.
The LEU, stored in Iran’s nuclear facilities, can be purified into highly enriched, weapons-grade uranium that could be used in nuclear bombs.

U.S., others agreed 'secret' exemptions for Iran after nuclear deal: think tank
By Jonathan Landay Sep 1, 2016
...The report ignited a chorus of Republican criticism, including from the campaign of presidential nominee Donald Trump. His campaign sought to link the findings to Trump's Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, who was secretary of state when secret talks were held with Iran but had left office before formal negotiations began.
"The deeply flawed nuclear deal Hillary Clinton secretly spearheaded with Iran looks worse and worse by the day," said a statement issued by retired Army General Michael Flynn, a top Trump adviser. "It’s now clear President Obama gave away the store to secure a weak agreement that is full of loopholes."
The Clinton campaign did not immediately comment on the report.
The White House said it took "significant exception" to some of the report's findings, saying that the easing of sanctions was always dependent upon Iran's adherence to the agreement.
"The implementation date was driven by the ability of the (International Atomic Energy Agency) to verify that Iran had completed the steps that they promised to take," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at a briefing on Thursday.
"That is what precipitated implementation day. Since then Iran has been in compliance with the agreement," Earnest said.

White House denies Iran was allowed to skirt restrictions
Elad Benari, 02/09/16
The White House on Thursday dismissed a report alleging the U.S. and other world powers secretly allowed Iran to skirt restrictions on its uranium stockpile under last year’s nuclear deal, The Hill reports.
Reuters on Thursday cited a soon-to-be-published report by the Institute for Science and International Security, which said the U.S. and fellow negotiating partners secretly agreed to permit the Islamic Republic to ignore some restrictions on its nuclear program, thereby paving the way for the removal of economic sanctions against the rogue state.
While White House spokesman Josh Earnest conceded he has not “read the precise report”, he refuted the notion that Tehran is not in compliance with the international agreement.
“The argument that somehow this agreement was implemented before Iran came into compliance is just not true,” he was quoted by The Hill as having told reporters on board Air Force One.
Earnest did not offer a line-by-line rebuttal of the report's claims. But, he said, Iran “has been in compliance with the agreement” since January 16, when the deal was implemented.

Obama Okays Massive Shipment of Uranium to Iran that Could Produce 10 Nukes
Ari Lieberman January 10, 2017
“The worst agreement in U.S. diplomatic history,” that was the way Charles Krauthammer characterized the Iran deal back in July 2015. Of course, when Krauthammer made that very accurate assessment, he had no way of knowing that the deal was even worse than originally envisioned.
The Iran deal’s ancillary aspects, which the administration tried to keep secret from Congress, included ransom payments totaling $1.7 billion to Iran and secret side agreements negotiated between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Islamic Republic. One of the most absurd provisions of that secretive side agreement enables the mullahs to collect their own soil samples at their highly opaque Parchin facility, in lieu of on-site inspections. The Obama administration even conducted lobbying efforts on behalf of the Islamic Republic, in a failed attempt to convince banking institutions to conduct business with the world’s premier state-sponsor of international terrorism. ...
The Obama administration’s dealings with the Islamic Republic borders on sycophantic. The AP reported today that the Obama administration, in its twilight weeks, issued its consent to allow the Iranians to receive 116 metric tons of natural uranium from Russia as compensation for its export of tons of reactor coolant. The move requires U.N. Security Council approval but is expected to easily pass.
Administration officials have issued assurances that Iran’s usage of the uranium shipment will be carefully monitored but those familiar with the administration’s “assurances” have ample reason to be wary. The administration’s track record on transparency, especially in its dealings with the Islamic Republic, is abysmal.

More Disturbing Revelations on Obama’s Disastrous Nuclear Deal with Iran
Joseph Klein April 26, 2017
Last week, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson certified that Iran was compliant with its commitments under the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, known more formally as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). However, this is only because of all the concessions that the Obama administration had made, which lowered the bar for Iran’s technical compliance to an absurdly low level. Indeed, Barack Obama’s concessions to the Iran regime, which he offered in order to secure Iran’s agreement on the terms of the disastrous JCPOA, seem to have no bounds. The result is that Iran is marching ahead with perfecting key elements of a full nuclear weapons program, while already receiving many of the benefits of sanctions relief afforded by the JCPOA. And now evidence has surfaced that the Obama administration not only paid a ransom for the release of American citizens imprisoned unlawfully by the Iranian regime as the JCPOA was being implemented. According to an April 24th investigatory report by Politico, the Obama administration also agreed, as part of a prison swap, to release seven Iranian-born prisoners from U.S. custody, at least some of whom could well go back to helping the Iranian regime procure components for its nuclear weapons program.
Moreover, the Politico report found that the administration dropped charges and international arrest warrants against 14 fugitives. Obama Justice and State Department officials, at times after consultations with the White House, reportedly slowed down the extradition process for some fugitives who were in custody abroad. And the administration failed to vigorously go after Iranian procurement networks in the United States, while thwarting career law enforcement officials’ efforts to lure their targets to international destinations where they could be readily arrested.
In short, senior Obama administration officials delivered a major blow to the painstaking work of counter-proliferation task forces that had been trying for years to uncover and break up Iran’s intricate procurement networks supporting its nuclear arms program.

Obama lied – and now the truth
Jack Engelhard, 27/04/17
So how much of our money did Obama ship to the terrorist regime in Iran? We hear $150 billion. We are not sure. Could be a dollar less, a dollar more.
We’ll never know for sure. That’s because his entire administration operated in the dark.
That’s how he governed and that’s how he got himself elected, in lies and in stealth, and the news media did the rest. They covered for him.
They let him get away with murder – and in this case, that is not a cliché, it’s fact.
Today, in eye-popping news, we learn, from the New York Post via Politico, that to sweeten the Iran nuke deal, Obama released Iranian-connected terrorists in order to keep the mullahs talking – which they were glad to do because the more they talked the more we gave and the more they took.
So seven terrorists were let loose; seven that were marked as a danger to our national security by Obama’s own State and Justice departments.
We’re not even talking about Israel’s national security. Iran paints “death to Israel” on its missiles.
Further, Obama dropped charges against 14 fugitives “involved in smuggling sophisticated weapons to Iran,” according to the published reports.
The question we have to ask is this – on whose side was Obama operating all those eight years?
