How's that God-free zone working out, America?

You can’t replace something with nothing. As John Adams noted):
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
The tragedies are becoming so numerous that we refer to them now simply by city. Last night, Dallas joined the ranks. The causes are many, yet the flip side of the coin is always the same. “My name is Legion, for we are many.”
Our Declaration of Independence severed our ties with Great Britain, not God. In that declaration we appealed to “the Laws of Nature, and Nature’s God.” Today our citizens, our government, our media, entertainers and institutions all lie about the one and deny the other. What did you expect would happen, America? You can’t replace something with nothing.
The only God who exists deals with nations much as he deals with individuals. Religious branding is a poor substitute for identifying who in the spiritual realm owns whom and what in the natural realm. Jesus said we would be able to identify who we and others belong to by the fruit we bear. We are not the free agents we imagine ourselves to be.
It doesn’t matter what the letter to the Danbury Baptists says, separation of church and state appears nowhere in the Constitution. The Constitution plainly says that the federal government can’t establish a national religion. Yet today the federal government is in the process of establishing one of the most failed religions in the world as our national religion. What fruit does it bear?
