Those who don't believe in God, have a desire to 'live' forever and cheat death. Their hope ( or at least a major one) is in what is called transhumanism. The most important aim for many transhumanists is to overcome human mortality, a goal some believe is achievable by 2045. With the great increase in technology two main factors, robotics and the ability to download one's brain into a robot.
"At the recent Global Future 2045 International Congress held in Moscow, 31-year-old media mogul Dmitry Itskov told attendees how he plans to create exactly that kind of immortality, first by creating a robot controlled by the human brain, then by actually transplanting a human brain into a humanoid robot, and then by replacing the surgical transplant with a method for simply uploading a person's consciousness into a surrogate 'bot.robot--in just ten years, putting him on course to achieve his ultimate goal--human consciousness completely disembodied and placed within a holographic host--within 30 years time. What Itskov is really saying--though in a very ambitious way--is that we've already started down the road toward shedding our corporeality via prostheses that interface with our nervous centers. If you can interface a brain with a hand, and then a brain with an entire arm, why not a brain with two arms? With two legs? With everything else? The question now is figuring out where the limitations lay--just how far down that road we can go." Popular Science: WILL PEOPLE ALIVE TODAY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO UPLOAD THEIR CONSCIOUSNESS TO A NEW ROBOTIC BODY? by Clay Dillow
The video below by a Christian gives not only the transhumanistic goals but why ending suffering in this way ( one of the transhumanist main selling point besides living forever) is a horrific idea.

This is interesting, I have read only a little about it before but it will be interesting to read about the progress of uploading consciousness to a robotic body.

Can you imagine the abject horror if the actually get to the point of doing it?
This is interesting, I have read only a little about it before but it will be interesting to read about the progress of uploading consciousness to a robotic body. Can you imagine the abject horror IF the actually get to the point of doing it? Stuck forever in a robotic 'body' made by man (not by God). I think they would get to the point where they would wish to die, but would not be able to.
Here is an actual president candidate who says he wants to take the 'bite' out of death and to chose when or if they will die. He is an atheist. He says 16-35 years old people. He believes you have the right to do whatever you want with your body (calling it protecting freedom) the evil side of technology...., predicts marriage will soon die out as he seems to be LBTG and all manner of sickness.
He talks about how he is trying to improve the image by talking about how it will 'improve health' and then people say: "oh well then thats great!" They especially are targeting the disabled (think exoskeleton to begin with and on from there). He makes the claim that stopping stem cell research should be punished because its 'hurting somebody' to live better, longer etc. I guess it doesn't hurt the aborted baby in his view, and of course, he blamed 'religion'. I think some of them must be demon possessed but if the end doesn't happen soon, this madness is going to grow.

Yes I agree, I think if God created the human then they will not be able to do that, however if man clones and creates a human than I think they will probably be able to do that because the human will be soulless, which I think there are already human hybrids alive now and there always has been the ability to create the soulless ones.

Yes cloning is another thing they are hoping to use in their quest for eternal life without God. I agree they most likely already have human hybrids. But with exoskeletons and all manner of brain work being done by scientists, and people taking chips, more and more being 'wired' etc. I do believe they will at least attempt to merge ( their brains downloaded) with robots.
The robots of today are becoming almost indistinguishable from humans....they are not like the old hulk of metal clanging about.....they look like human and have advanced computer 'intelligence' (tho the idea is to download any given human brain into the robotic brain.....
The propaganda will go something like you can be: faster, smarter ( computer like intelligence ), stronger, live longer (or forever) without pain, aging(remain beautiful forever) etc etc. We know the anti-Christ will have a talking 'statue' but like you said, God may not allow man to pull this off.....in fact, I pray he does not!

I never imagined that I would be reading about such technology as this, "the robots of today are becoming almost indistinguishable from humans." LOL that is funny, " they are not like the old hulk of metal clanging about."
Come quickly Lord and take us to our new home.

Come quickly Lord and take us to our new home. I soooo agree with you Come quickly Lord.
I have seen even more 'human' looking androids (robots)than the link . I think whatever they show us, they already have most technology years in advance of what they show.

Here is an interesting ( well, NOT) web site Humai Transcending human biology through robotics
humaitech.com/
And Here is another site of what those who refuse God are putting their hope for immortality in.
