New Canadian PM ignores Islamic nature of Paris attacks
By Dalit Halevy 11/14/2015
Canada's new prime minister, Justin Trudeau of the Liberal party, condemned the bloody terror attacks in Paris on Saturday that murdered over 129 people and were claimed by Islamic State (ISIS) - but ignored their Islamist terror connection.
Trudeau, who entered his post late last month, said in an initial official statement, "I'm shocked and saddened that so many people have been killed and injured today in several terror attacks in Paris, and that others were held hostage."
"Canada stands to the right of France in this dark period and is offering aid. We will continue to work closely with the international community to help prevent such horrible and illogical acts," said Trudeau.
In his statements, Trudeau completely refrained from referencing the the Islamist terrorists who conducted the attack, their motivations and ideology. He also did not mention how the attacks might affect the national security of Canada.
Under Trudeau's new government, Canada has launched a new "balanced foreign policy" in the Middle East that includes a willingness to dialogue with Iran, and the Lebanese coalition government that includes the Iran terror proxy Hezbollah.

Canadian PM: 'Islam is compatible with secular West'
In two separate TV interviews, Trudeau insists that Islam is 'not incompatible with free and open Western societies.'
By Ari Yashar 2/22/2016
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of the Liberal Party has already made a number of eyebrow-raising statements since taking office last November, but on Sunday CIJ News revealed yet another questionable sentiment he raised twice in TV interviews in recent months.
In the two interviews, both with CBC, Trudeau insisted that Islam is "not incompatible with the Western secular democracy."
In the most recent interview on January 31, he said "we need to make sure that we’re working with communities like the Muslim community, for example, to demonstrate that Islam is not incompatible with free and open Western societies."
The statement echoed his words from another interview last November 24, when he said, "Canadians are quick to point out that ISIS is wrong, that Islam is not incompatible with the Western secular democracy, a free place like Canada."
In the message, Trudeau said the convention "is also about celebrating our shared beliefs in justice, fairness, equality of opportunity and acceptance. The work you do in communities across the country is what builds and strengthens our multicultural fabric."

Tory MP calls out Trudeau for refusing to call ISIS attacks on Christians ‘genocide’
Pete Baklinski Feb 26, 2016
OTTAWA, February 26, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- Conservative MP Cheryl Gallant called out Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the House of Commons today over his refusal to recognize as “genocide” the sweeping targeting of Christians by ISIS in the Middle East.
Noting how the European Parliament passed a unanimous resolution earlier this month recognizing the Islamic State's attacks on Christians as “genocide,” Gallant stated: “In Canada, the Liberal Prime Minister refuses to join the rest of the civilized world in recognizing the ISIS campaign against Christians and other religious minorities as genocide.”
“The silence is deafening. Why does the Prime Minister not think Christians and other religious minorities are the right kind of refugees?” she added.
Designating attacks against Christians in the Middle East as “genocide” could have significant policy implications in terms of offering such victims aid, asylum, and other protections.
Gallant’s statement comes on top of countless reports of anti-Christian outrages by ISIS, including mass beheadings and executions in Syria and Iraq.

Just how does he think Sharia law is compatible with democracy? They are nothing alike for example a woman may be stone to death for various crimes, a thieves may be punished by amputation, the death penalty for apostasy, sexual "crimes" of women including adultery, and death for homosexuality.
Just like our so-called President refuses to believe there is wholesale genocide of Christians by ISIS.

Trudeau: Canada is not at war with ISIS
By Ben Ariel 3/24/2016
Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, said on Wednesday that Canada is not at war with Islamic jihadists, The Canadian Press reported.
Trudeau and Foreign Affairs Minister Stephane Dion rejected France's declaration that it was "at war" with jihadists, just one day after the bombings in Brussels which killed more than 30 people and injured 270.
After the attacks, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said "we are at war" against jihadists and added, "We have been subjected for the last few months in Europe to acts of war.
Trudeau, who made his comments during a CBC Radio interview, and Dion – speaking Wednesday in the House of Commons foyer – both said the conflict with the Islamic State (ISIS), which claimed the Brussels attacks, not fit the true definition of war.
"A war is something that can be won by one side or the other and there is no path for ISIL to actually win against the West," Trudeau said, according to The Canadian Press, using the alternative acronym for ISIS.
"They want to destabilize, they want to strike fear. They need to be stamped out."
Dion suggested the notion of labelling the fight against extremists as an actual war might simply be outdated.

Canadian PM ignores Islamic identity of Orlando shooter
By Arutz Sheva Staff 6/13/2016
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued an official statement condemning the “mass shooting” in Orlando, but avoided mentioning the fact that the terrorist was a devout Muslim who apparently has ties to terrorist organizations.
Trudeau stated that he was "deeply shocked and saddened” by the news of the mass shooting, an act which he called a “domestic terror attack targeting the LGBTQ2 community.”
In condemnations of terrorist attacks by Islamic organizations, the Canadian government is careful to avoid mentioning the Islamic background of the perpetrators.

Canadian Foreign Minister: Islam is a 'religion of peace'
By Dalit Halevi 7/5/2016
Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister, Stephane Dion, condemned a July 3 terrorist attack in Baghdad in which at least 125 people were killed, but in his statement he also described Islam as a peaceful religion.
“Canada strongly condemns the attacks that killed dozens of innocent Iraqis in the streets of Baghdad last night as they were getting ready to celebrate Iftar,” he said in a statement.
“Once again, the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant [ISIL] demonstrates its complete disregard for human life and for Islam, a religion of peace that fosters the respect and promotion of human life,” added Dion.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also condemned the attack and tweeted, “So-called Islamic State has again proven itself an enemy of all Muslims.

Canada: Trudeau's Support For Islamists A Warning To America
By Thomas Quiggin/Gatestone Institute January 11, 2018
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada has an nine-year long record of supporting the Islamist cause while refusing to engage with reformist Muslims. With respect to ISIS fighters returning to Canada, Trudeau has argued that they will be a "powerful voice for deradicalization" and that those who oppose their return are "Islamophobic."
Furthermore, the Government of Canada is not adding the names of returning ISIS fighters to the UN committee responsible for the listing of international jihadists.
Many Canadians are starting to believe that Prime Minister Trudeau's position on reintegrating and deradicalizing ISIS fighters is unreasonable, if not delusional. Canada's "Centre for Community Engagement and Deradicalization" has no leader and no deradicalization centre.
Nor does it appear to have plans for a program which could operate inside or outside of government. It is also not clear that the law of Canada could force a returning ISIS fighter to attend such a program, even if it did exist. In France, a similar government sponsored program was a failure.
Canada also has an unclear position on the arrest of returning ISIS fighters, with few facing any consequences to date. The number of ISIS fighters in Canada is unclear; estimates back in 2015 suggested that about 60 had returned. The Government of Canada has tried to claim that his number has not changed since 2015, despite the near total collapse of ISIS over the last several months.
