Former Planned Parenthood health center manager Sue Thayer was a sex-ed teacher and came on board with Planned Parenthood thinking that they would help her spread a simple message of “safe sex.” But the deeper she got behind Planned Parenthood’s flashy veneer, the more troubled she became.
Thayer eventually saw how Planned Parenthood pushed abortions with a monthly quota that her clinic had to meet and she saw how abortions were damaging women. Sue quit her job at Planned Parenthood and began a journey that would lead to the closing of the health center she once managed.
Now, Thayer is working for a pro-life group in the same state — Iowa — where she once peddled Planned Parenthood’s agenda.
“Iowa Right to Life is pleased to announce that Sue Thayer, former Iowa Planned Parenthood center manager, has joined our staff! Sue now serves as our Lead Strategist,” the pro-life group Iowa Right to Life informed LifeNews.com today.
“Sue Thayer is no stranger to Iowa Right to Life. She first called our organization anonymously several years ago. During that phone call, Sue shared her horror over Planned Parenthood of the Heartland’s latest scheme-webcam abortions,” Iowa Right to Life said. “Upon her refusal to perform dangerous webcam abortions, she was fired. She is currently embroiled in a $5.5 billion Medicaid lawsuit against her former employer, Planned Parenthood of Heartland.”
“Since her firing, she has gone on to become a leading statewide and national Pro-Life leader. She tirelessly speaks the truth about the dangers of the abortion industry and how Iowa’s Planned Parenthood has gone to great lengths to deceive women,” IRTL said.
