 I've really had all I can take with what many blacks in our country are doing. Now I'm sorry if that offends anyone, but it's how I feel and I'm entitled to my feelings and thoughts just like anyone else. Why is it perfectly acceptable for a black to say they don't like how whites treat them, but not acceptable for a white person to say they don't like how blacks treat them????
This has been going on for years and has obviously been getting much worse since Obama got in office. He's turned back the clock on race relations in this country. I've heard and seen news reports where a white person has said something and some black person decides that the word they used was done to purposely pain a negative picture of a black person. Next thing you know there's a war on the internet and then in the news media because of it. Then all the whites are told, "don't use that word anymore". Now it's the word "thug". I've heard that word used for many white people and never knew it could be considered racists. Not till now anyway. But then now any word you use can be considered racist.
I guess what I'm really sick of is the way so many black people have shoved their color in my face constantly over these last few years and absolutely insisted that they're treated unfairly by whites. They call others racists and yet they're the ones that are insisting that we see their color instead of seeing them just as a person. (which by the way was the way I always saw people) They say they just want equality, but what they really seem to want is to be treated better than anyone else of any color. I've personally known of blacks that were pulled over many years ago, by a white policeman for speeding. They were speeding and knew they were and they knew that's why they were pulled over and accepted it as such. Then all this started happening and that very same person was again pulled over for speeding, again by a white policeman, (the same one) but this time they insisted they were pulled over because they were black. Oh yes, they admitted they were speeding, but that shouldn't matter, they continued to insist that if they'd been white they wouldn't have been pulled over! That is so totally ridiculous I couldn't believe it was coming out of their mouth. But they had totally convinced themselves of it. They really thought it was true. Of course it wasn't. That same white policeman pulled over many white men and women for speeding, in fact, pulled over 100's of times more whites then blacks. But again, the truth didn't matter because they were sure it was just because of their color.
Now they're enraged and rioting! I still can't believe I'm actually seeing rioting over race again in the US. And the ones that aren't rioting on the streets are keeping it going in the media and on line. I've seen them raving over the mayor (or whatever she is) who told them she'd heard them and was charging the 6 officers with murder. She did it to stop the riots; she sacrificed 6 officers for them and they wanted more, they want them killed. Why do I say she sacrificed them? Because at the time she made her statements charging them, there hadn't been enough time for any kind of investigation to have been done to find out what had really happened. She just didn't want to wait for true justice, she thought it was more important to give the people what they wanted so they'd stop rioting. I guess when her children threw tantrums at the grocery store because they couldn't have the candy they wanted, she probably bought it for them as quick as she could to shut them up instead of telling them that behavior was unacceptable and taking them out to the car. I am NOT saying those men are innocent. I don't know if they are or not. Maybe some are and some aren't. Maybe they all are, or maybe they are all guilty of murder. I have no idea. My point is that neither did she. It may turn out that they're all guilty, but at this point, I'm not at all sure I'd believe her for a second. If someone else tells me they were guilty, then I'd believe it and it has nothing to do with what color any of them are or what color the person telling me they were guilty or innocent is. It has to do with trust and I don't trust someone who's willing to throw someone to the lions to hopefully shut the lions up for a time.
I'm so tired of the division and strife, and hate; and yet nothing anyone says puts a dent in it or causes anyone else to stop and think about what they're doing or saying. In fact, anyone who tries to point any of this out is often accused of being unloving. When in fact if they didn't love the people they wouldn't care what they said or did. It shouldn't surprise me though. most people seem to think love means tolerance, but that's not what it means at all. “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” (1 Corinthians 13:6)
I know, I shouldn't let this bother me. I know what causes the division, strife and hate: our sin nature. While it's not a sin to be angry, it will be if I allow the anger to grow and continue or change to bitterness and I don't want that to happen. That's partly why I wrote this. I wanted to get it all out of my system and writing things down has always helped me do that. But I also wanted to stand up for what I believe in: that we're all people, not a certain color; but if we keep focusing on color, the only thing that can come of it is more strife, division, and hate.

I totally agree Cindy. I noticed 3 of the officers were black and the one with the most seniority was a black woman....so how is that racist?
Yes, maybe they all were guilty but maybe not.
The idea is the assumption that cops have been going on racism for ever and so of course it's a given that this This the same. The other assumption is that that the police always get away with murder.
However,there is no thought about how many risk their lives every single day and are true caring and compassionate people, no matter what their color is or the people they are dealing with.
Nor the fact, the police do deal with and see many true criminals ( murders, rapists, drug dealers, pimps, child molesters, robbers etc. etc.) of every race.
Frankly I don't really believe in 'race' per say....we have more or less melanin and we are all of the human 'race'. I am not unaware that people with
more melanin have been slaves in our country's past, a terrible thing!
Yet almost every 'race' has been slaves, like the Jews were slaves for 400 years in Egypt and for shorter periods by other countries like 70 years etc.
But hearts are growing cold in many people.
I was listening to a black man ( not someone so light he might have been able to pass for 'white' so he lived his life as a black man... but will prob be accused as being an uncle Tom because you can only have one opinion apparently)
but he asked why a grown man would run from the police like a teen who in fact had done wrong and knew it?
Yup people do not want a trial they just want to put these police in prison.
But I wonder if soon men and woman will no longer become policemen and women?
How will people like living in a country, when no one is willing to capture a mass murderer, or a serial rapist etc.?

It wouldn't totally surprise me Barbara. I've seen articles where the police have contemplated just walking off the job and letting the blacks deal with their crime themselves.
And you brought up another subject that really gets to me. How the blacks moan about how they were made slaves and how awful we whites are because of it. Well for one thing, I personally never owned slaves and neither did my parents. On top of that, as you said, every race, including whites, have been in slavery before. In fact, right this very moment there are many whites in slavery, yet I haven't heard of any whites rioting because of it, or of them trying to extort money from any government because of it either. Yet the blacks think they should be allowed to sue our government because 200 years ago some of the people in this country owned slaves. If you want to get biblical about it, the Lord told slaves not to run away from their owners, but only to become free if there was a legal way to do so. He never told any owners to give up their slaves. I'm not saying slavery is right, it's not. I'm simply pointing out that God is more interested in our attitudes no matter what position we're in in this life. He even told slaves to stay and obey masters who were cruel. (1 Corinthians 7:21–24; Ephesians 6:5–9; Colossians 3:22–4:1; Titus 2:9; 1 Peter 2:18–21) The only negative was in the list of sinful people that won't be found in heaven. In that list is included "slave traders" in 1 Timothy 1:10. I've often wondered how it will happen, but according to the Bible, there will again be open slavery during the Tribulation as slaves are spoken of in Revelation 6:15; Revelation 13:16 and Revelation 19:18. (sorry, I know that's not applicable here, but it's how my brain works)
I thought it was strange too that night before last, our internet went out when I was trying to post on facebook. (not about this though) Then last night when I went on, the first things I see on my timeline were news articles showing how the president and his wife were making this thing so much worse, like they always have, just like I'd posted about here and on facebook a couple of days ago. The next ones I see are other people posting news stories and saying the same thing I had, that when whites are killed by black police, you don't see the whites rioting about it. Right under that, were stories about the Muslims and how they go beserk when someone draws a cartoon about their prophet and how they're telling us that they'll kill anyone who does so. But did Obama come out ans say how bad those Muslims were? Of course not. The only bad people to the Obama's are white Christians, and especially those like me that won't keep their mouths shut about it.
You know what's really funny? At least to me.... When I was a child and teenager, living in Arizona and Florida, I always tanned very dark and it stayed year round. We lived in a very nice neighborhood and there was a black family that had recently moved in down the road from us. One day when I was about 16, I was walking up the road to my boyfriends house, and not to far behind me the black family was also going for a walk. I didn't think anything of it. But when I got to my boyfriends house, his Mom was crying because she was laughing so hard. When she could finally talk, she told me that when she saw everyone walking down the road, she'd thought I was one of the black families teenagers! She hadn't recognized me! Now these folks were black as you can get, there was no doubt about what color they were LOL, so it really shocked her that I was every bit as black as they were, only mine was from a tan. I only wish she'd thought to take a picture of us, because I'd use it to prove that like Barbara said, there really is no such thing as "race".

It seems to be all by design. Not only is government dividing the people by race and class, but from what I've been reading, the intention is to prepare or groom the West for 'dhimmitude'. Apparently, the UK has already submitted to a certain extent. Please see link below.

I've been following a thread over at RR for the past week - same sentiments are expressed there. They wonder about martial law being implemented if the rioting continues. And at lunch last week with a group of ladies someone made the same point as Cindy said here in here OP:

Yes, it is horrible, and I couldn't help but notice the link between the Christian's vs Muslims and Blacks vs Whites, and finally sin and Satan vs God and His Word. The world is tolerating evil more and more and sadly many Christians are getting involved because they are viewing it either as "political" or as their "rights", rather then seeing it as just another way that Satan is causing strife and division. They seem to forget that God tells us to put others before ourselves and not to concern ourselves with our so called rights. I've had people tell me that I'm doing the same thing, but then whenever a Christian points out sin, they're accused of being judgmental and divisive, so that really doesn't surprise me.

The idea that every white person has been born with a silver spoon in their mouth is so far from the truth. There are millions of very poor whites in this country. Not only are they poor but they are not always well educated, and many are sick without decent medical care. So the so-called privilege of all whites is a myth, and in fact, there are 'blacks' that are millionaires and more each year.
Yes there are a lot of rich 'white'people also.
And its true that during the slavery years the white owners broke up black families.
However, there is nothing holding black men back now to take responsibility for their children, but I think a lot of them use what happened 200 years ago as an excuse for not getting married and being committed.
As an aside, I know this verse you posted probably doesn't really apply to me....but this is the first time I thought of when I was 5 and was trying to get the baby to its mom and was beaten instead.

Good points Barbara! Sorry I didn't see this before. And that's a great verse! It seems like the blacks back then understood a lot more about God then many of them do now, what with all the black liberation theology and prosperity teaching, and other false teachings that are going around in their circles. There's plenty of false teaching in white churches too of course. I can't wait till we're all in heaven where finally color won't matter to anyone.

I don't think it's only the rich. But the president puts oil on the fire for sure and keeps it going, as does his wife. I just found something I wrote a couple of years ago about this due to something I'd seen on the news:
I saw something in the news that was disturbing to me
Not that that's anything new...but I thought I'd post about it. I haven't seen it online and only caught part of the story. I can't remember what city it was in but I believe it was California. It was about firemen and 113 of them had taken the test to become a captain and only one man passed the test. Not only did he pass it, he aced it. But, he was passed over and not given the promotion. Why? Because he's white. Yep. They gave the promotion to a guy that didn't deserve it simply because he was black and they "needed" a black guy to be "fair". They showed the force there and it certainly seemed to be a very mixed group without a real majority of any one race, but the whites and hispanics are now suing because they get passed over for blacks and it's not fair. Of course they showed the blacks too and how upset that are because they said if they lose this case it would be just disastrous for their race as a whole.
It just made me want to scream!!! I mean what in the world does race have to do with it???? And why should race have anything at all to do with it???? A test was given. The promotion should go to the person or persons that passed the test period. I could care less what color their eyes are or their hair is or their skin is! If more then one passes, it should obviously go to the one with the highest score. If there's a tie, and for some reason both can't be given the promotion then other things can be considered such as time on the force, experience, etc, but NOT race!!!
To me this is just an example of how stupid we've become as a nation. It's one of the reasons I've always stayed away from politics in the past. It all just seemed so incredibly stupid to me. Like supposedly intelligent people get elected and then have a celebration and take a handful of stupid pills or something. I'm serious!
Race shouldn't be an issue for any job or any application anywhere for anything. If someone can't pass the test, poor baby, go study harder and stop whining about what a rotten break you've gotten. You got a rotten break because you were so busy whining you didn't study!
I'm just sick to death of hearing people whine that because they're black or hispanic or white or green or red or whatever, that they got treated badly and didn't get what they deserved etc. No wonder the country is in such a mess! We have people that can't even pass the exams to get the positions they hold, running corporations, businesses, fire departments, police departments, schools, stores, hospitals, treating people and calling themselves doctors even though they couldn't get into med school on their grades and were passed because of their race or nationality and for no other reason; so people die for that!
can you tell this upsets me just a little?

Lately I've been kicked out of a couple of groups I belong to, for daring to question received wisdom or refusing to go along with the rules of identity politics.
For instance, I was thrown out my university women's group -- by two men! -- for questioning an article on Jezebel about "cultural appropriation."

While on an aerobic machine at the gym, I caught Trump on TV. It occurred to me that Trump's high poll numbers really represent the American people vs. the America hating Left. Trump's campaign slogan is “Make America Great Again.” Them's fightin' words to the Left.
For decades the Left has used its domination of the media and public education to indoctrinate our kids into believing that it is racist and mean to think of America as great. The Left says such pride and patriotism is an insult to the rest of the world.
You think I am crazy? Public elementary schools banned Lee Greenwood's “Proud to be An American/God Bless the USA” in NY and Florida, thus far.
A Brooklyn elementary school principal blocked patriotism from teachers' plans for a school assembly. Students were going to march in carrying US flags while singing a patriotic song. Here is one of the offensive lyrics. “I'll always do my part, I love my land that's free.”
The Ninth Circuit court upheld a San Francisco area school district's ban on wearing American flag t-shirts to school on a Mexican holiday.
Professors at the University of California, Irvine join students in trying to ban the America flag on campus because they say it contributes to racism.
Years ago a white friend told me her son came home from middle school a tearful basket case. He was filled with guilt about the evils his white forefathers thrust upon minorities. Today, my friend's son is an America-hating Communist. He also believes white males are the greatest source of evil in the world.
A product of public education, a millennial relative said she would be traveling near South Dakota. I suggested she visit Mt Rushmore. Her reply was venomous, “I wouldn't travel across the street to see those guys.”
Trump saying such things as wanting to “make America a winner” and “make our military strong” is extremely crass to the Left; as repulsive as showing Dracula the cross.
Despite being drilled by the Left to hate their country, I believe American youths instinctively desire to love their homeland. Trump is making it okay to say it out loud.
