The liberal media remain derelict in their duty to vet presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s record on Benghazi, just as they have abandoned any pretense of holding the Obama administration accountable for the many “phony” scandals including the IRS scandal, Fast & Furious, or even the VA scandal. We at Accuracy in Media have repeatedly exposed the mainstream media’s reluctance to question the Obama administration narrative on issues that might threaten their agenda.
Recent offenders circumventing the need to vet Mrs. Clinton’s and President Obama’s Benghazi record include CNN, Reuters and The New York Times—all of which consider themselves premier sources of information.
Rather than waiting for the process of sifting through and then reporting the details of the approximately 30,000 emails that former Secretary of State Clinton has submitted to the State Department—only about half the reported total 62,320 emails on her private email server—CNN instead turned to anonymous government sources for its alleged scoop. CNN’s Elise Labott wrote on April 27 that “the sources who described the emails said they offer no ‘smoking gun’ on Clinton’s actions in the days and weeks leading up to the attack or while the siege on the U.S. facility was ongoing.”
The next day Reuters published a very similar article by Mark Hosenball citing “two people familiar with the material” who made broad, sweeping claims about the information contained within those emails.
CNN’s Labott clearly stated that, like The New York Times’ Michael Schmidt, she was “not permitted to review the emails ahead of their release, but several government officials characterized them and offered detail on some of them on the condition of anonymity.”
But no “smoking gun” email from Mrs. Clinton is necessary to break this scandal wide open or prove that a Benghazi cover-up is still alive and well.

DIA Memo: Benghazi Attack Planned Days in Advance to Coincide with 9/11

A new Defense Intelligence Agency Memo dated September 12, 2012 demonstrates that high-ranking U.S. officials were aware of claims by an Al Qaeda affiliate that the Benghazi attack was planned 10 or more days in advance.
The memo made public by Judicial Watch indicates that its contents are “not finally evaluated intelligence,” meaning the contents had not been judged to be accurate. The details of the memo present an alternative explanation for the Benghazi attack that was given short shrift by the Obama administration after the attack. Instead, the State Department and the White House chose to emphasize a “demonstration” (which it turned out had never happened) held in connection with a YouTube video critical of Islam.
The DIA memo, which was sent to the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Chiefs among others, states in part:
The attack on the American consulate in Benghazi was planned and executed by The Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman (BCOAR). BCOAR is also responsible for past attacks on the Red Cross in Benghazi and the attack on the British Ambassador, they have approximately 120 members…
The attack was planned ten or more days prior on approximately 01 September 2012. The intention was to attack the consulate and to kill as many Americans as possible to seek revenge for U.S. killing of Aboyahiye ((ALALIBY)) in Pakistan and in memorial of the 11 September 2001 atacks on the World Trade Center buildings.
Aboyahiye is an alternative spelling for the al-Qaeda terrorist Abu Yahya al-Libi. Abu Yahya was a Libyan who at one time was considered a possible heir apparent to Osama bin Laden. He escaped from a U.S. prison and spent several years promoting al Qaeda and was killed by a drone strike in North Waziristan in June 2012. Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri released a video announcing Abu Yahya’s death on September 10, 2012, i.e. timed for the anniversary of 9/11. That video also called for revenge attacks in response to his death.

State Department plans January 2016 deadline for release of Hillary Clinton emails

The State Department is planning to release 55,000 pages of emails stored on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private e-mail server by January of next year, according to a court filing.
The department has asked a federal judge to approve a plan requiring the release of all of Clinton's emails by January 15, 2016. The request is related to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed this past January by Vice News and was first reported by POLITICO.
If the request is approved, the complete set of emails could be released just over two weeks before the Iowa caucus. Clinton is the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination.
In the document, the State Department's acting director of the Office of Information Programs and Services, John Hackett, cited the "voluminous" collection of correspondence as the reason for the late proposed release date.
"Given the breadth and importance of the many foreign policy issues on which the Secretary of State and the Department work, the review of these materials will likely require consultation with a broad range of subject matter experts within the Department and other agencies, as well as potentially with foreign governments," Hackett continued. The department's filing claimed that 12 staffers had been assigned to review Clinton's emails and redact sensitive information.

The shameless lying that has formed the heart of the Obama administration’s Benghazi narrative took another turn yesterday. Documents obtained by Fox News reveal that U.S. intelligence agencies were “fully aware” weapons were being moved from Benghazi to Syria before the attack on Sept. 11, 2012 that claimed the lives of ambassador Christopher Stevens, Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, and diplomat Sean Smith, The documents also put the lie to President Obama’s assertion that the rise of ISIS caught the administration “by surprise.”
“Newly released documents show a serious disconnect between what the administration said, and what was known at the Defense Intelligence Agency, also known as the DIA,” reported Catherine Herridge yesterday morning on “America’s Newsroom.” “This Sept. 16, 2012 memo, copied to the national Security Council, State Department, CIA and others, concluded that the Benghazi attack was planned at least 10 days or more in advance. The DIA memo also reports the attack was tied to 9/11, and was retaliation for a June 2012 drone strike that killed an al Qaeda strategist. There is no discussion of a demonstration or an anti-Islam video,” Herridge added.
The memo is indeed damning. It reveals that the “Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman” (BCOAR) who claimed “ultimate responsibility” for the Benghazi attack were engaged in an effort “to kill as many Americans as possible to seek revenge for the [U.S.] killing of Aboyahiye (Alaliby) in Pakistan and in memorial of the 11 September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings.” The memo further reveals the Obama administrations knew these terrorists had access to sophisticated weapons, including SA-7 and SA23/4 MANPADs “as well as unidentified missiles over two meters in length.” They knew a force of 120 men under the age of 28, led by Abdul Baset (AZUZ), had established a headquarters and training facility in the city of Derna “where they train almost every day focusing on religious lessons and scripture including three lessons a day of jihadist ideology,” the memo stated.
In addition to sources named by Herridge, the memo was also copied to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Obama White House National Security Council.

Obama Administration Knew that al Qaeda Terrorists Had Planned Benghazi Attack 10 Days in Advance(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained more than 100 pages of previously classified “Secret” documents from the Department of Defense (DOD)and the Department of State revealing that DOD almost immediately reported that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was committed by the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-linked “Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman” (BCOAR), and had been planned at least 10 days in advance. The documents also include an August 2012 analysis warning of the rise of ISIS and the predicted failure of the Obama policy of regime change in Syria. Email Dumps Continue to Undermine Clinton Candidacy

Hillary Clinton’s reputation is taking repeated blows as the drip, drip, drip of email productions from her private email server draw attention to her many lies. The Obama administration has admitted that she did not, in fact, turn over all the necessary emails from her private mail server to the government. It also has released nearly 3,000 pages of emails implicating members of the Obama administration in their own lies.
As Vice President Joe Biden appears to be preparing to jump in the race for the Democratic nomination later this summer, questions are also emerging as to whether or not the Obama administration is throwing Hillary under the bus through these emails.
Each new batch of these emails expose additional lies made by the Obama administration and Mrs. Clinton, despite MSNBC, Newsweek, and other news organizations maintaining that there is little to be found. This is the same treatment that the Benghazi scandal has regularly received.
“…I hear it all the time from your previous guest and others, is that seven or eight previous congressional committees looked into Benghazi,” said chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi Trey Gowdy (R-SC) on CBS’ Face the Nation on June 28. “Well, none of those other committees looked at a single one of her e-mails… So our committee has done things that none of those seven other committees were able to do.”
The Committee has also gained access to the documents from the Accountability Review Board investigation which failed to interview Secretary of State Clinton—documents which were not turned over to other members of Congress. It also recently received information related to Clinton aides Jake Sullivan and Cheryl Mills, as well as former United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice.

New Report Confirms Findings of Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi

Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi (CCB) member Clare Lopez believes that in 2011 Hillary Clinton’s State Department was orchestrating its own gun running operation to the Libyan rebels—and that arms dealer Marc Turi has been set up to take the fall for these “illicit arms deals.”
“The Justice Department has charged Turi with lying on an export-license application, alleging he hid his intent to ship weapons and ammunition to Libya in direct violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 170,” reports Jerome Corsi for WorldNetDaily.
“Marc Turi was set up and framed for something he didn’t do, while others, who actually did collaborate with Qatar and the UAE to deliver the weapons under U.S. and NATO protection and supervision, are not only not prosecuted like Marc Turi, they’re not even mentioned,” Lopez told Corsi.
“Lopez made it clear she was speaking for herself and not for the commission,” he reports.
Corsi has written several previous articles about the work of the CCB, which was established by Accuracy in Media back in 2013. “The commission has been working behind the scenes for the past two years to ensure Congress uncovers what really happened in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans,” writes Corsi.
“Lopez [said the] ‘key point is that Marc Turi, despite receiving written approval from the U.S. government to broker weapons to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, never actually went through [with] any weapons purchases or shipments to Qatar, to the UAE or to Libya,” he writes.

The Truth Is Catching Up With Hillary

Hillary Clinton’s spinmeisters are working overtime to deal with the latest developments in her ongoing e-mail scandal. They have an increasingly tough road to hoe as the Clinton cover-up begins to unravel.
The FBI investigation of the handling of classified information on Hillary’s personal e-mail account, which she used for all her government business while serving as Secretary of State, is underway. Her campaign announced on August 11th that she has directed her aides at long last to turn over to federal investigators her private server and a thumb drive containing copies of her e-mails. Hillary’s campaign is trying to portray her decision as evidence of her cooperative spirit. This is utter nonsense, considering that she has refused to turn over her server for months to any independent third party. Last March, during a press conference she held at United Nations headquarters shortly after the e-mail scandal first broke, Hillary declared that “the server will remain private.” Moreover, her lawyer David Kendell, who had possession of the thumb drive, said that the server and its backup located at a technology company in Colorado had been wiped clean. If that is true, and the e-mails she has not already turned over cannot be retrieved through technical means, Hillary could be in hot water on obstruction of justice grounds alone.
For the Clinton campaign to claim that Hillary is voluntarily turning over her server now – more than five months after her UN press conference when she insisted it would remain private – is like saying that we pay our income taxes every year solely out of the goodness of our hearts.
On the same day that Hillary Clinton finally decided to turn over her server to the FBI, the inspector general for the intelligence community notified senior members of Congress that two of four classified e-mails he had inspected contained “top secret” information, which means that it was so highly sensitive it merited the highest possible security classification. The inspector general’s finding followed his examination of the 40 e-mails in the stack of approximately 30,000 e-mails Hillary had turned over to the State Department as work-related (the remaining 31,000+ e-mails on the server were deleted), which the State Department had allowed him to examine. Moreover, it appears that Hillary and her team made no effort to encrypt any of the e-mails while stored on her server or while being sent to or from her personal e-mail account.
Hillary has flatly denied that she ever sent or received classified information in her private e-mail account. The inspectors general for the intelligence community and State Department found otherwise. Then the story put out by the Hillary campaign was modified to say that the information was not deemed classified at the time it was sent or received. That was not true either, said the inspectors general. At least some of the classified information they found was classified when it was sent and still is classified.
“This classified information never should have been transmitted via an unclassified personal system,” Steve A. Linick, the State Department inspector general, said in a statement signed last month by him and I. Charles McCullough III, the inspector general for the intelligence community.

“My point is when you set up an unsecured server in your barn adjacent to your home in Chappaqua, New York, you have intentionally – forget about negligence – you have intentionally bypassed the security process for that server,” said Levin, a former chief of staff at the Justice Department.

The Clinton Email Scandal Threatens to End Her Presidential Bid

The number of confirmed classified documents found among Hillary Clinton’s emails in a State Department review has climbed to 60, and yet she was joking about it this past weekend in Iowa. “You may have seen that I recently launched a Snapchat account,” said Mrs. Clinton. “I love it. I love it. Those messages disappear all by themselves.” But it may not be such a laughing matter for her, as there are new reports of Democrats worried about the viability of her candidacy, new polls showing Sen. Bernie Sanders (L-VT) ahead of Mrs. Clinton in New Hampshire and Iowa, and reports of Vice President Joe Biden appearing more likely than ever to enter the race as a way to try to save the Democratic Party from a potential disastrous election next year.
Hillary’s story has been evolving, from saying that she had never sent or received classified material on her private email server, which was her only server throughout her four years as secretary of state, to later saying that nothing in her emails was classified at the time it passed through her server, though some may have become classified later on. But when faced with the charge by Obama appointed inspectors general that four of the first 40 emails that they sampled were in fact classified at the time they were on her server, she claimed that though that may be true, they weren’t marked classified. So how was she to know?
In a Wall Street Journal article this weekend by former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, he took Mrs. Clinton to task: “It is no answer to say, as Mrs. Clinton did at one time, that emails were not marked classified when sent or received. Of course they were not; there is no little creature sitting on the shoulders of public officials classifying words as they are uttered and sent. But the laws are concerned with the sensitivity of information, not the sensitivity of the markings on whatever may contain the information.” Her actions in term of having her emails erased, argues Mukasey, may put her in further legal jeopardy for obstruction of justice.
While the reports that Inspectors General for the Intelligence Community found those initial four classified emails, it now turns out that two of those four were Top Secret, one of the highest levels of classification. This would appear to contradict Mrs. Clinton’s claim that at the time this information was on her email server it wasn’t marked as classified, and therefore she wasn’t aware that it belonged in that category; or else that it wasn’t classified at that time.

She lied to the nation in 2012, and she’s lying again now. You don’t look surprised.
‘We’ve seen the heavy assault on our post in Benghazi that took the lives of those brave men. We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with.”
Those words, depraved words, were spoken by then–secretary of state Hillary Clinton, with President Obama by her side, on September 14, 2012. This was at Joint Base Andrews, during the most sacred of rites: the return of the remains of Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods, and Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, all slain in the line of duty in Benghazi.
That obvious fact is now explicit after Mrs. Clinton’s galling testimony on Thursday before the House select committee investigating the Benghazi massacre.
Not only had the siege occurred on the eleventh anniversary of al-Qaeda’s 9/11 atrocities. Not only was Obama informed in the first minutes that a terrorist attack was underway. Not only had terrorist attacks in Benghazi been threatened and executed for months. Not only were mortars deployed by trained jihadists. Not only had Gregory Hicks, the senior State Department official on the ground in Libya after Ambassador Stevens was killed, directly briefed then-secretary Clinton about the then-ongoing terrorist attack — the same Gregory Hicks who would later testify that the anti-Muslim Internet video was a “non-event” in Benghazi.
Besides all that, we now know that, while the siege ensued, Clinton emailed daughter Chelsea to explain that Americans had been killed in Benghazi by “an al Qaeda-like group.” This was about an hour before Clinton and Obama consulted by phone, immediately after which the State Department published Clinton’s mendacious “blame the video” announcement...

In a scathing column Fox News contributor Andrew Napolitano makes the convincing case that Hillary Clinton sold weapons to Libya in a direction violation of the U.N. arms embargo, and then lied about it under oath during her testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi Oct. 22.
"To pursue her goal of a ‘democratic' government there, Clinton, along with Obama and a dozen or so members of Congress from both houses and both political parties, decided she should break the law by permitting U.S. arms dealers to violate the U.N. arms embargo and arm Libyan rebels whom she hoped would one day run the new government,” Napolitano explains. "So she exercised her authority as secretary of state to authorize the shipment of American-made arms to Qatar, a country beholden to the Muslim Brotherhood and friendly to the Libyan rebels and a country the U.S. had no business arming—unless the purpose of doing so was for the arms to be transferred to the rebels.”
Memos recovered from the incinerated compound in Benghazi give great weight to the assertion. The documents were obtained by the Washington Times and they reveal the American diplomats stationed there were keeping track of numerous potential U.S.-sanctioned weapons shipments aimed at arming our allies, "one or more of which were destined for the Transitional National Council, the Libyan movement that was seeking to oust Gadhafi and form a new government,” the paper reports.
A file marked “arms deal” reveals that one of those shipments was supposed to be sent by Dolarian Capital Inc. of Fresno, CA, one of many arms sellers that work with U.S. intelligence. The file contained an end use certificate from the State Department’s office of defense trade controls licensing, and Dolarian confirmed one of the licensing requests the State Department initially approved in 2011 was an authorization to send weapons to Libya via Kuwait. The certificate was inexplicably revoked before Dolarian could ship rocket and grenade launchers, 7,000 machine guns and 8 million rounds of ammunition originally manufactured by former Soviet-bloc nations in Eastern Europe.

According to four separate family members of the Americans slain in the September 11, 2012 terrorist assault on the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton privately blamed the attack on an online anti-Islam video. She did so days after she knew, according to her own words, that the deadly raid "had nothing to with the film. It was a planned attack -- not a protest." The Benghazi families' memories are consistent and specific, with one account of the interaction having been recorded in a journal at the time...
Asked point blank whether these accounts are true last month, Hillary said "no," without a substantive follow-up. She doubled down when pressed further in New Hampshire over the holidays:
Sun Columnist Tom McLaughlin said she told an Egyptian diplomat the Benghazi attack was planned and not a protest but that she told family members of the deceased that the attack was the result of a demonstration. He said she then told George Stephanopoulos that she didn't tell the families the attack was a demonstration about a film. "Somebody is lying," said McLaughlin."Who is it? Clinton replied, "Not me, that's all I can tell you." At the time, Clinton said, everyone was emotionally distraught. She said some families didn't know their sons were working for the CIA or were in Benghazi. Clinton said the information she had about the attack was from the intelligence community.
Hillary Clinton, a confirmed liar who's deeply distrusted by voters, claims that all four of these grieving relatives aren't telling the truth about what she said to them on September 14 -- back when the White House was still peddling the video myth in public. Indeed, Hillary included a heated reference to the film in her speech at the casket ceremony that day, in the context of discussing the broader upheaval across the region. Somebody is lying. Hillary asserts that it isn't her, leaving only one, highly implausible option. She tries to soften her clear implication that Tyrone Woods' father, Sam Smith's mother and uncle, and Glen Doherty's sister are liars by suggesting that perhaps they were just too "emotionally distraught" to summon accurate recollections. This is insulting. Of course they were very upset, but the idea that they all misunderstood her in the same exact way -- and that one of them took inaccurate contemporaneous notes about the interaction -- is ludicrous.

Observers of the Benghazi scandal are quite familiar with the generalities of Hillary Clinton’s infamous testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Clinton’s reaction to the murderous September 11, 2012, Benghazi attacks will forever be remembered by eight insulting words: “What difference at this point does it make?!” This infuriated response was fired at a lawmaker who dared to press her on why four Americans, including a sitting U.S. ambassador, were murdered. Clinton’s testimony that day, and specifically her shocking “what difference” jibe, has become so associated with the attacks that the image of her testimony is one of the most frequently returned pictures in Google whenever a user types in the word “Benghazi.”
However, despite Clinton’s very public display of what many see as arrogance in the face of a legitimate line of inquisition, few are aware of the central role she played in the real Benghazi scandal, from her direct involvement in approving lawful occupancy of the disgracefully unsecured U.S. special mission, to the weapons-to-rebels scheme, to the very reason Ambassador Chris Stevens was in the compound on the dangerous day of 9/11 in the first place. We are herein going to document Clinton’s undeniably fundamental role in virtually the entire Benghazi story, replete with information indicating she may have perjured herself during sworn testimony.
PULLED CRITICAL SECURITY
Let’s start with Clinton’s personal approval of security conditions at the compound. By this point you are familiar with the stunning backwardness of the U.S. special mission’s so-called security posture. Guard towers were denied; a special reaction team was pulled from Libya’s hot zone; an aircraft was recalled. External protection of the compound was provided entirely by poorly trained, unarmed local Libyans who had virtually no capabilities to fend off armed attackers. Internal security was incomprehensibly left to the devices of armed members of the February 17 Martyrs Brigade militia, a ragtag group affiliated with the al-Qaida-linked, Islamic extremist Ansar al-Sharia terrorist organization that was later implicated in the Benghazi assault. Despite numerous previous strikes against both the U.S. special mission and other Western compounds in Benghazi, and in spite of a large number of requests from U.S. diplomats on the ground, there was little change in the dismal state of “security” at the mission.
Yet it can now be said that Clinton personally provided the legal waivers for U.S. personnel to occupy that death trap of a mission. This largely unreported detail was confirmed in the Senate’s January 2014 report on Benghazi. Senate investigators found the Benghazi facility required a special waiver since it did not meet the minimum official security standards set by the State Department.

Hillary's Emails Can Wait Until After the Election

The State Department announced it may put off its review of the sensitive classified information former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent on her illegal, insecure email server until after Election Day.
The server is at the heart of the scandal over Clinton's mishandling of an Islamic terrorist attack in militant-infested Benghazi, Libya on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 that left four Americans, including U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens, dead. Even now, three years after the assault, the Obama administration has failed to provide an autopsy report about Stevens who was initially reported to have been ritualistically sodomized before being murdered by Muslim terrorists.
But this possible delay is a transparent ploy intended to benefit Clinton's presidential campaign.
If the review is delayed for eight months or more, voters who are entitled to know the true extent of Clinton's misdeeds may not find out exactly what she did until it is too late to reject her at the ballot box in November.
The review is intended to examine to what extent Clinton's cavalier approach to keeping state secrets may have damaged national security. The Clinton campaign brushes the probe off but sources at the FBI and the Justice Department say a criminal investigation of the former top diplomat is already underway.
If the FBI is moving forward, it has changed gears since last fall when the investigative agency was criticized for dragging its heels in probing the Clinton matter.
The White House is obviously in no hurry to conduct a proper investigation of Mrs. Clinton's crimes so it is stonewalling, falling back on an old Clinton tactic aimed at making big problems go away. Of course there is no earthly administrative reason why the State Department can't complete its review in a timely manner, but the Obama administration is interested only in politics, not justice or national security.
But the Obama administration is apparently hoping that the power of bureaucratic inertia will help get Hillary into the White House.

Benghazi Bombshells: 3 Keys to Understanding the Lies, Deceptions, and Cover-Ups as Four Americans Died

Let me be frank. The Obama Administration, including the Secretary of State, lied.
That is the clear conclusion of the bombshell Benghazi report just released from the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi.
The report highlights the disturbing answers to a number of pressing questions we have been focused on at the ACLJ for a number of years. At the same time, the report raises new concerns about the Obama Administration’s blatant cover-up of the jihadist terrorist attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 – on the anniversary of the largest terrorist attack America has ever faced.
Here are just three of the disturbing facts we learned today:
1. How many military assets were sent to Benghazi while our ambassador and his staff were under attack? Zero. None.
Over the course of the 13 hour attack on our consulate in Benghazi not a single military asset was even set in motion – not even heading in the direction of Benghazi – as four brave Americans including our ambassador were killed.
The Secretary of Defense reportedly ordered military assets to deploy, but none did. Instead our soldiers were ordered to change in and out of uniforms multiple times, as the Obama Administration national security bureaucracy argued about what Libya’s government would think about soldiers with uniforms and marked cars deploying within their country.
2. The narrative about a video spurring this deadly attack? False.
We’ve known it all along, but the more we find out, the worse it gets. As the jihadist attack on our consulate and our Ambassador unfolded, the White House was already in full spin mode – worried that the attack, if fully understood by the American people, would undercut its narrative of fighting terrorists and Libya as a glowing example just weeks before President Obama's 2012 reelection. Senior advisors to the President were concerned about Mitt Romney’s statements and whether Obama’s failed foreign policy would be revealed for what it was and still is – an absolutely catastrophic failure. We even see that the Secretary of State was privately telling her daughter it was a terrorist attack carried out by an al-Qaeda like group while publicly blaming an online video.
3. Four years later, how many of the dozens of terrorists responsible for four dead Americans have been captured? One.
The day after the attack, President Obama promised, “We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.”
Only one terrorist—Ahmed Abu Khatallah—has been indicted and brought to the U.S. to face charges.
The committee knows of no one else who has even been arrested or indicted.
It’s unbelievable – and unacceptable.

'Tragic failure of leadership': House committee blasts Obama admin and Clinton in Benghazi report

...Hillary Clinton, who is at the center of the controversy due to serving as secretary of state at the time, had told the committee last year that there was no intelligence that indicated a planned attack.
The 802-page report, however, says that there was early intelligence indicating that the Americans in Benghazi were not safe with only two security guards, and that the Clinton and a top aide, Patrick Kennedy, should have realized this.
"Despite President Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s clear orders to deploy military assets, nothing was sent to Benghazi, and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost 8 hours after the attacks began,” the report says.
While the Defense Department ordered military assets to deploy to the consulate, the report says that conflicting orders from the State Department about whether the forces should wear military or civilian attire delayed any such deployment.

The House Select Committee on Benghazi has issued a major, 800-plus page report detailing the events behind the attacks in Benghazi, Libya. No words can fully describe the tragedy that took the lives of four brave Americans. Clinton hid thousands of emails, put classified data on her server, but shouldn't be charged - FBI

Though the FBI found that Hillary Clinton and her staff were “extremely careless” with State Department emails hosted on a private server, no criminal charges will be brought against the former secretary and current presidential candidate.
“No reasonable prosecutor” would bring criminal charges in this case, FBI Director James Comey told reporters Tuesday morning, after going into the details of the bureau’s two-year investigation, which he described as a “painstaking undertaking requiring thousands of hours of effort.”
“Three of those were classified at the time,” he added.

Though he said that Clinton’s lawyers “cleaned” the devices used to host the email servers in a way that precluded further forensic discovery before turning them over to the bureau, the FBI is confident “there was no intentional misconduct,” according to Comey.
No direct evidence was found that Clinton’s personal domain was hacked successfully, but hostile actors could have gained access at some point, given the lack of support and protection of the private servers, he said.
“None of these emails should have been on any kind of unclassified system,” Comey said, adding that Clinton and her associates were “extremely careless” in handling highly classified information, while “the security culture at the State Department was generally lacking.”

Hillary Clinton declared during NBC News’s Commander-in-Chief forum that no lives were lost in Libya when she made the move to take out dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Even so, the former secretary of state did not mention the fact that 11 months later four Americans — including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens — were killed in a terrorist attack in Benghazi that arose from the instability that the overthrow created.
“With respect to Libya, again, there’s no difference between my opponent and myself,” Clinton stated, attempting to dismiss her hawkish-foreign policy record. “He’s on record extensively supporting intervention in Libya when Qaddafi was threatening to massacre his population. I put together a coalition that included NATO, included the Arab League, and we were able to save lives.”
“We did not lose a single American in that action,” she declared.
