Post-Paris, Obama Doubles Down: More Refugees Coming

Despite what he termed the “setback” of last Friday’s jihad massacre in Paris, Barack Obama announced Monday that he was pressing forward with his scheme to flood the U.S. with at least 10,000 refugees from Syria, terming opposition to his plan “shameful.” Obama seems intent on recreating in the U.S. the circumstances that led to the jihad attacks in Paris – which were perpetrated by at least two “refugees” who had just recently arrived in Europe.
“We have to, each of us, do our part, and the United States has to step up and do its part,” Obama said. He didn’t explain why Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar don’t have to do their part, and have taken no refugees at all, citing the risk of terrorism. Repeat that concern in the U.S., as have the Governors of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Massachusetts, and Texas, and you’ll be charged with “racism,” “bigotry” and “Islamophobia.”
Obama was ready with his own charges: “When I hear folks say that, well, maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims. When I hear political leaders suggesting that there would be a religious test for which person who’s fleeing from a war-torn country is admitted. When some of those folks themselves come from families who benefitted from protection when they were fleeing political persecution — That’s shameful. That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion.”
Indeed. But there were other issues that did not involve “religious tests to our compassion.” President’s statement neatly ignored the uncomfortable fact that Christians are not waging jihad around the world. It was not a Christian terrorist group, but a Muslim one, that boasted last February that it would soon inundate Europe with 500,000 refugees.

President Barack Obama slammed US "hysteria" about the security risks posed by Syrian refugees Tuesday as Republicans took steps aimed at freezing White House programs to resettle them in the wake of the Paris attacks.
In an unusually fierce rebuke, Obama struck out at his political foes, accusing them of demonizing "widows and orphans."
The discovery of a Syrian passport near the body of one assailant in the Paris attacks that killed 129 people last Friday has stirred fears among US lawmakers and governors that jihadists are seeking to blend in with refugee masses in order to strike later.
"We are not well served when in response to a terrorist attack we descend into fear and panic," Obama said.
"We don't make good decisions if it's based on hysteria or an exaggeration of risks," he added, speaking from Manila.
"They are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America," he continued, despite the fact that some 80% of migrants heading into Europe for example have been men of fighting age.
His comments came as House Speaker Paul Ryan called for a "pause" in the Syrian resettlement scheme, joining more than half of state governors urging Obama to suspend the program and fully review the vetting process to ensure that would-be attackers do not slip into the country as refugees.
"Our nation has always been welcoming but we cannot let terrorists take advantage of our compassion," Ryan told reporters.
"This is a moment where it's better to be safe than to be sorry."

The American Left Hates Americans More Than They Hate ISIS
There are a number of compelling arguments to continue to allow Syrian refugees into the United States. A number of prominent evangelical leaders are making those arguments. But the American left is not. Though they favor bringing Syrian refugees into the country, they have decided that Americans are just a bunch of racists who cannot bear debate.
The President of the United States has taken the tacit of claiming it is all political. To the left, everything is political so they cannot fathom that some Americans might have looked at the events of Paris and decided we might want to be more cautious. Nope. To the political left, it is polling, politics, and racism.
Remember, this is a President of the United States who has claimed authority for actions based on polling. Willfully ignoring American opposition to Obamacare in polls, more than once the President has cited polling for other initiatives, including immigration. But on this issue of immigration of refugees, the public has decidedly turned against the President. The public, therefore, is racist.
American leftists in the press, online, and offline are railing against their fellow Americans for daring to object to the refugee plans. The public demands an aggressive response to ISIS and liberals are actually arguing that to fight ISIS would give ISIS what it wants. Therefore, we must not fight.

Obama to veto legislation on refugee screening

President Barack Obama would veto a Republican bill introduced in the wake of the Paris attacks to toughen the screening process for Syrian refugees, the White House declared Wednesday, according to AFP.
The House of Representatives could vote as early as Thursday on resolution 4038, unveiled earlier on Wednesday, which aims to block administration plans to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees in the coming year.
"Given the lives at stake and the critical importance to our partners in the Middle East and Europe of American leadership in addressing the Syrian refugee crisis, if the President were presented with H.R. 4038, he would veto the bill," the White House said.
Unveiled by House Homeland Security chairman Michael McCaul, the bill aims to strengthen vetting procedures for Syrian and Iraqi refugees in the wake of Friday's attacks that killed 129, carried out by Syria-linked jihadists.
The plan would require the director of the FBI, the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence to certify that each refugee is not a security threat.

On his Thursday radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin offered his reaction House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)
58%’s interview on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” the night before. During that appearance, Ryan laid out the components of his legislation that would deal with Syrian migrants seeking refuge in the United States.
Levin took issue with what Ryan was describing in that interview as “pause,” which he said includes a higher level of vetting of those refugees. Levin disputed Ryan’s definition of a “pause” and took aim at him the general mentality of the leadership Washington, D.C., which he argued failed to recognize the seriousness of the threat the country is facing.
“These people inside Washington – they don’t get it,” Levin said. “This is World War III. Could you imagine during World War II or World War I having these discussions? World War I, under a hideous president, Woodrow Wilson, World War II under an almost equally hideous president, FDR – did they worry about any of this stuff? Was this the national debate? The national debate was how to secure the nation and destroy the enemy and how to destroy the enemy as quickly as possible – victory, victory, victory. Do these guys even talk about victory? This entire debate is absurd.”

I hate to say it, but perhaps if the terrorists hit Washington God forbid....but maybe then they will finally wake up to the real war threat.
However, I almost fear that even more, ( and I do not wish a soul to be hurt...I am just saying maybe that would be the only way they might awake to the danger)
But then if something happened here like Paris, Obama might declair Marshall Law, forgo elections and be an endless dictator, aiding and abetting the enemy until our country is ruined?
I don't know that would happen but its a fear....its almost like he is arranging it to happen?

I totally agree, fearnot. I have thought for a long time that he wants to be a dictator and is arranging martial law to come about. Scary thought. I think that would trigger a civil war here in the US.
And the terrorists would hit Washington and NYC first, they see that as the "heart" of the US. Glad I live way away from there. But the liberals would probably just apologize and bow down.

txlulu I just watched a video last night where the person read a document written about 100 years ago by Albert Pike about how to start wars between various groups (he actually mentions Israel and Moslems)
so that people will so fearful and distraught,
that they will accept the "pure doctrine of Lucifer".

Obama recently lashed out against the idea of giving preference to Christian refugees, describing it as “shameful”: “That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion,” loftily added the American president.
Accordingly, the administration is still determined to accept 10,000 more Syrian refugees, almost all of whom will be Muslim, despite the fact that some are ISIS operatives, while many share the ISIS worldview (as explained below).
Yet right as Obama was grandstanding about “who we are,” statistics were released indicating that “the current [refugee] system overwhelmingly favors Muslim refugees. Of the 2,184 Syrian refugees admitted to the United States so far, only 53 are Christians while 2,098 are Muslim.”
Aside from the obvious—or to use Obama’s own word, “shameful”—pro-Muslim, anti-Christian bias evident in these statistics, there are a number of other troubling factors as well.

fearnot, that is very interesting about the Albert Pike connection. I always had a feeling Freemasonry was a bad thing. Another lie, with just enough sound of the truth to it to make people think it is ok. Glad I know the real truth!

President Obama is willing to gamble with the lives of American citizens. He is intent on emptying Guantanamo of as many of the detainees as possible, even as some of the released jihadists have returned to the battlefield to fight against our soldiers. Now the Obama administration is reportedly planning to accelerate the screening process for Syrians claiming refugee status, so that they can be rapidly resettled in communities across the United States.
The Washington Free Beacon has reported that, according to its sources, “The Obama administration has committed to bring at least 10,000 Syrian refugees onto American soil in fiscal year 2016 by accelerating security screening procedures from 18-24 months to around three months.”
The current resettlement vetting process for self-proclaimed refugees begins with an initial screening by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The applications of some who make it through this preliminary UN screen are referred to United States authorities for further consideration and possible resettlement. UNCHR’s role in the front end of the vetting process should be reason enough for alarm.
The United Nations has called for more open borders to accommodate the millions of “refugees” and other migrants whom have left the Middle East and North Africa. To this end, UNCHR is said to be looking for alternative avenues to admit Syrian refugees that are faster than the current refugee “resettlement” vetting process. UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi suggested a number of such alternatives last March, at a high-level meeting held in Geneva to discuss “global responsibility sharing through pathways for admission of Syrian refugees."

Obama Administration Putting American Lives at Risk

The Obama administration continues to aid illegal immigrants after they cross the border, allowing them to take up residence throughout the states under the pretense that these persons ultimately await a deportation hearing in the offing. And despite promises that the Obama administration’s immigration apparatus would focus on the criminal element, this administration is also failing to deport criminal aliens when they are released from U.S. jails.
The administration’s current refusal to enforce the law resembles amnesty for all, much like the amnesty proposed by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Yet the liberal media deliberately fail, time and again, to report the truth about how many illegal aliens are entering the U.S. Actually, they fail to report on illegal immigration at all—unless it is in the context of undermining Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump or praising Mrs. Clinton.
For example, Bloomberg’s Alan Bjerga reports that Trump is leading an “immigration backlash” that is hurting farmers and causing crops to “rot.”
Bjerga quotes a farmer, a son of Mexican immigrants, as saying, “The rhetoric that’s getting preached is pushing xenophobia…You can’t call an immigrant a murderer. You can’t paint them with that brush.”
We have long reported that mainstream media pundits prefer to describe the immigration debate in terms of illegal immigrants’ humanity, evoking sympathy for the downtrodden. However, the Obama administration continues to fail to deport dangerous criminals.
As we have reported, Government Accountability Office data shows that approximately 250,000 illegal aliens in the United States committed nearly three million crimes. “Roughly 50 percent were arrested at least once for either assault, homicide, robbery, sex crimes or kidnapping,” wrote James Simpson for AIM.
Mrs. Clinton has committed to not deport illegal immigrant children from the United States, nor would she deport any illegal immigrant without a criminal record. “That’s what, that’s what I’m telling you,” she said in March. “I do not want to see them deported. I want to see them on a path to citizenship. That is exactly what I will do.” The message she’s sending is, if you can make it across our porous Southern border, we won’t send you back.
“Clinton was one-upping the Obama administration’s policy of letting illegal immigrants who claim to be ‘children’ and their parents remain in the United States indefinitely,” writes Michael Barone for RealClearPolitics on June 7. “In effect she is calling for open borders, something that goes even beyond Barack Obama’s executive action, which has been ruled illegal by a Texas federal judge and appeals court.”

How the Obama Administration Sabotages our National Security

President Obama’s outrageous decision to enter a secret deal to take in between 1,800 and 2,400 refugees that Australia refuses to admit only verifies his enduring indifference to our national security.
The Obama Administration’s decision to agree to accept refugees who originated from countries designated as state sponsors of terrorism validates the American Center for Law and Justice’s warning that the waning days of this Administration are the most dangerous period for possible lawless overreach in recent memory. This decision shatters beyond recovery any remaining trust the American people have that President Obama’s Administration is prepared to act based on the actual dangers we face. Instead, as my colleague Wesley Smith wrote more than six weeks ago, the Administration is prepared to ignore the enemy, while tying the hands of U. S. law enforcement officers.
Rather than identify the enemy as radical Islam, President Obama prefers to ignore the evidence that stares him in the face each and every day while maintaining his self-proclaimed commitment to openness and transparency. Still, facts are stubborn things that expose the hollowness of the Administration’s predisposition to congratulate itself rather than engage in sound policy analysis.

This is all part of a persistently disturbing pattern that has gone on for far too long. For instance, rather than deal with the reality of radical Islamic terror that persistently issues forth from the Middle East, the Obama Administration has decided to admit a disproportionate number of male Muslim refugees from Syria although Syrian Christians and Yazidis are most at risk from Islamic State genocide and even though this is a demographic most likely to pose a known risk to the homeland and national security. Rather than admit the actual evidence on the ground showing a direct connection between terror and radical Islam, the Administration is prepared to capitulate to its own incompetence in vetting immigrants, which is demonstrated by its decision to grant citizenship to immigrants whose names have not been run through the FBI’s database. Instead of acknowledging that ISIS has publicly proclaimed its intention to infiltrate Western nations through refugee immigration, the Administration prefers to downplay the threat and scrub references to Sharia and jihad from law enforcement training manuals.
Rather than openly conceding that many of the refugees that Australia has rejected—and who are now under consideration for admittance by the Obama Administration—have previously engaged in human rights abuses involving children while being held in refugee camps, and rather than place the safety and security of the American people ahead of his politically correct ideology, which represents a serious break from reality, President Obama prefers to sabotage our nation’s security and insult the intelligence of the American people by increasing the nation’s terror threat landscape, all while hiding the details of his Australian refugee program from Congress and the American people. This can be plainly seen in the State Department’s unprecedented decision to classify and thus keep secret the details on refugees to be resettled in American via a secret deal with Australia.

Obama’s Disgraceful Departure

Although President Barack Obama acted friendly toward Donald Trump, aiding him in the transition and meeting with him, behind the scenes he left Trump with a number of policy landmines that our new President must confront as he pursues his agenda.
“We didn’t discuss the negative, we only discussed the future and the positive. And we really get along well. Now again, he may say differently, but I don’t think he would,” said Trump, according to The Hill. He told the press that he received a “beautiful letter” from Obama upon taking office.
No matter how friendly he may have appeared in person, President Obama signaled that he would stand up to Trump if the latter engaged in certain policies. “There’s a difference between that normal functioning of politics and certain issues or certain moments where I think our core values may be at stake,” said Obama. Those core values included “systematic discrimination,” rounding up DREAMers, and silencing “dissent or the press.” All of that sounds quite reasonable.
Yet Obama had already done much behind the scenes to embarrass Trump and put up obstacles in his way. In a last-ditch effort to derail the agenda of incoming President-elect Trump, President Obama issued an edict preventing future gas drilling in our oceans and dismantled a registry designed to stop potential terrorists from entering the United States. His actions were calculated to raise the potential for future protest against Trump’s policies. Otherwise, why didn’t President Obama act on these policies sooner?
These policies were deliberately designed to cause trouble for the incoming president.
