Obama has turned Putin into the world’s most powerful leader
By Benny Avni September 29, 2015
The baton was officially transferred Monday to the world’s new sole superpower — and Vladimir Putin willingly picked it up.
President Obama (remember him?) embraced the ideals espoused by the United Nations’ founders 70 years ago: Diplomacy and “international order” will win over time, while might and force will lose.
Putin, too, appealed to UN laws (as he sees them), but he also used his speech to announce the formation of a “broad international coalition” to fight ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
“Similar to the anti-Hitler coalition, it could unite a broad range of forces” to fight “those who, just like the Nazis, sow evil and hatred of humankind,” he said.
And who’d lead this new coalition? Hint: Moscow has always celebrated the Allies’ World War II victory as a Russian-led fete.
Oh, and if anyone wondered which Syrian players the coalition would rely on as allies, Putin made it clear: “No one but President [Bashar al-]Assad’s armed forces and Kurd militia are fighting the Islamic State.”
That, of course, isn’t Obama’s view. America’s president said he opposed the “logic of supporting tyrants.” After all, Assad “drops barrel bombs on innocent children.”

Russia, ISIS the Natural Consequences of President Obama’s Disastrous Foreign Policy
Matthew Clark | September 30th, 2015
Russia’s power play in the Middle East, under the guise of targeting ISIS, is disastrous, dangerous, and deadly.
First, Russia’s aggression in Syria is on President Obama’s head. Second, elections have consequences, and we are only just now beginning to experience those disastrous consequences.
One year ago, President Obama said, “We don’t have a strategy” on ISIS. Nothing has changed from President Obama, and now we are facing the consequences. ISIS is expanding. Over 250 Americans traitors have now joined ISIS in Syria – American jihadists. ISIS is gaining ground, gaining forces, and maintaining its unbelievable powering throughout the region.
Six years ago, President Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made their infamous “reset button” ploy with Russia. It’s been an unmitigated failure.
Vladimir Putin’s insatiable quest for world power has run roughshod over President Obama’s intractable weakness.
Putin’s self-created crisis in Ukraine has been a debacle, but Russia’s defiant invasion into Syria could be a deadly disaster.
The latest situation is set up as a horrific nightmare scenario. Russia, which has long propped up Syria’s beleaguered Assad regime, claims it has decided to strike ISIS. That might sound good until you realize what is actually happening. Putin’s first air strikes in Syria are not against ISIS but the Free Syrian Army, the rebels fighting Assad’s regime.
To make matters worse, Putin has demanded that President Obama stand down the U.S. military’s (albeit limited) airstrikes against ISIS.
So to get this straight, Putin is going all in against the anti-Assad rebels to protect its puppet government in Syria, without attacking ISIS, while at the same time demanding the U.S. stop attacking ISIS.

The Most Dangerous Man In the World
By Andrew Logar October 2, 2015
…is neither Russia’s Vladimir Putin nor China’s Xi Jinping, nor at this time, Ayatollah Khamenei – it’s none other than America’s Barack Hussein Obama. This is not because of any aggressive, risk-laden actions he has taken, far from it. It is because of those he has failed to take at critical times to credibly dissuade strategic competitors and potential aggressors, such as Russia and China, from actions that may suddenly compound into destabilizing confrontations, even war. When the Middle East cauldron spawned the barbaric ISIS, Obama’s indecisive, pusillanimous response allowed this Islamic malignancy to rapidly metastasize, compounding and accelerating an existing refugee problem that will involve America. Additionally, throughout his tenure, overt actions Obama has taken served to steadily and materially, degrade American military capabilities, while enemies grow stronger.
In retrospect, divining Obama’s foreign policy should have been relatively easy given his background – a world seen through the eyes of someone whose father was a Muslim, as was his step-father, whose early education was in a Muslim madrassa, followed by mentoring from the known communist Frank Marshall Davis, associations with Columbia University’s Palestinian activist Edward Said and later, Harvard’s leftist Brazilian socialist Roberto Unger, later close association with admitted communist and Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers, then followed by 20 years of anti-American and anti- Semitic sermons by Reverend Jeremiah Wright who, placing much of the world’s ills at America’s doorstep, culminated a post 9-11 sermon sententiously intoning, “…America’s chickens have come home to roost.”
Ironically, other chickens have indeed come home to roost. American liberalism’s pernicious obsession to eradicate the odium of slavery long gone and any vestiges of remaining discrimination in one fell swoop, blindly promoted the candidacy of the first black president, propelling a relatively unknown, unvetted and remarkably unqualified candidate to two electoral victories. That most unfortunate occurrence followed by resultant deleterious fallout at home and abroad, are liberalism’s chickens coming home to roost – in the White House – where they’ll cluck away until January 20, 2017.
After winning the 2008 election, Obama launched his now infamous “Apology Tour,” covering three continents in some 100 days, during which the Heritage Foundation identified 10 major apologies Obama made for America’s past behavior. Mitt Romney, in his book, “No Apology,” correctly criticized Obama’s gratuitous apologies. Indeed, unnecessary apologies by our president projected a weakness in resolve, confidence and appreciation of our nation’s accomplishments, our beliefs and values. While in Europe, when asked if he believed in American “exceptionalism,” he said yes – in the same way that, “ …the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks in Greek exceptionalism.”
This was an arresting, if not downright stupefying statement – coming from the head of state of the world’s most powerful nation, with a manifestly unrivaled history. This is a nation which in 239 years since the Declaration of Independence, grew from 13 colonies and 3 million people to 50 states and 320 million people, a nation victorious in its Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and which fought its bloodiest of wars, the Civil War, to expunge slavery; this is a nation victorious in the Mexican-American War, the Spanish-American War, WWI and WWII, that introduced the incontestably successful Marshall Plan critical in European post war recovery, that sent men to the moon and back, 6 times – and the nation that won the Cold War - a nation that has consistently led the world in Nobel prizes in medicine, science and technology. This is unequivocally a nation like none other, a nation of unparalleled achievements and sadly, one whose president does not consider particularly exceptional.

Obama's Real Legacy: Creating a Global Haven for Terrorists
Dr. Joe Tuzara October 02, 2015
The evolving threat to America's national security has never been more random and unpredictable than in the dwindling months left at the Obama White House.
At the global level, scholars will long debate just who and what policies are fueling the "steeper-than-exponential rise of terrorist attacks." But one thing is clear: President Barack Obama’s legacy will likely be the establishment of a global haven for terrorism.
Obama's ludicrous assertions the world is "less violent" than it has ever been, that Al Qaeda's terrorist ranks are "on the run" and have been "decimated," .."America is winning right now. America is great right now" are blatant lies based on fantasy.
On the contrary, the Global Terrorism Index reported the number of terrorist attacks around the world has increased dramatically; 82% of all terrorism occurs in only 5 countries; 60%of all attacks occurred in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and Syria; more than 90%of all terrorist attacks occur in countries that have gross human rights violations.
However, the rest of the world suffered a 54 % increase in terrorist incidents as well and the number of countries that have lost more than 50 lives hit an all-time high in 2013. This highlights that not only is the intensity of terrorism increasing, its breadth is increasing as well, the report said.

Bauer: Obama is a 'blessing' to world dictators
Chad Groening (OneNewsNow.com) October 5, 2015
Conservative activist Gary Bauer is praising Benjamin Netanyahu for assuring the U.N. and Russian President Vladimir Putin that Israel will defend its interests – a stance seemingly in direct contrast to the White House.
VOANews.com says the Israeli prime ministers' speech to the U.N. General Assembly last week included "a blistering condemnation" of the Iran nuclear deal brokered by the Obama administration. The talk also included what many observers saw as a powerful, 45-second-long period of silence after he lambasted delegates for remaining "utterly silent" in the face of repeated threats by the Iranian supreme leader to destroy the Jewish nation.
Prior to his trip to the U.N., Netanyahu went to Moscow to meet with Putin, where he told the Russian leader: "We have no intention of giving up our ability to defend our interests – and I suggest that no one tests us."
Gary Bauer, head of Citizens United for Israel Action Fund, spoke with OneNewsNow about the prime minister's address. He sees a marked contrast in foreign policy as expressed by the leaders of Israel and America.
"... President Obama continues to conduct a foreign policy that resembles what you would see in the faculty lounge at Harvard or at a national convention of Code Pink, but is totally unsuitable as a foreign policy of an actual nation that believes in freedom," he offers.

How 7 years of Obama brought the world from Kumbaya to chaos
By Post Editorial Board October 3, 2015
Just three years ago, President Obama famously ridiculed GOP opponent Mitt Romney’s statement that Russia remained America’s main geopolitical foe by taunting: “The 1980s are calling to ask for their foreign policy back.”
Four years before that, Obama stood at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate to declare that once he became president, all people would join him around a global campfire, hold hands and put an end to the world’s evils and miseries.
Well, seven years into Obama’s presidency, the promised worldwide Kumbaya is instead global chaos — caused in large measure by his willful retreat from America’s position of leadership.
Washington’s traditional allies increasingly feel abandoned, its enemies emboldened. The United States isn’t even leading from behind — it’s cowering in weakness.
And no one is taking better advantage of this than Vladimir Putin, now storming headlong into the yawning chasm of American retreat and reasserting Russia’s global influence and power — just as Mitt Romney said.
Putin remains unchallenged in his invasion of Ukraine, leaving him free to intervene — again unchallenged — in the Middle East.
