Please continue to pray for Marianne. The surgery went well and she is recovering but still has a long way to go.
I spoke to Lou and Marianne got home yesterday afternoon. She's doing fairly well; just sleeping a lot right now, which is why I didn't talk to her. I didn't get to talk to her much at all this time as she was pretty out of it right up till just before she went home. Two days before she went home she still wasn't making much sense at all on the phone, but Lou says she's doing much better now. We both believe it's the oxycontin that's doing it to her and she only took one all day yesterday so of course was doing better. Please keep praying for her recovery as this particular operation can be difficult and some major problems can occur afterward if the Lord doesn't intervene.

I heard from Marianne last night and apparently she was got an infection and had to go back into the hospital. She said she just got home two days ago. I'll just quote what she told me about the hospital experience:
She has a visiting nurse that comes in each day to change the packing on her incision and she says it's closing up fast this time. She says she's still in lots of pain though and that she spends many hours just sleeping. As always, she thanks us for the prayers too.
