Time for a new thread already! Here's the most recent posts from the last thread: Barbara, I went to Amir's site, the telegram and under the large button you're supposed to click on it says in small print, "preview site" or something like that. Anyway, I clicked on that and was able to see everything again. I closed it and went back later so I could write this. I wanted to see exactly what the large button said and I was going to take a screen shot of it so you could see where it said preview, but instead of it opening to that again, it just let me to the site like it used to! I dont know what going on with the my smart phone app try get back online with Spotify and yOu tube finally got it LOL! YESSSSS I am going watch tonight LA Dodgers game you know who I cheering for LOL! I just found infamous Spotify wrapped for the year coming up after I log back in probably be same songs that I have few years and more i got some Beyonce and Taylor Swift song on my playlist mostly oldies and Freestyle music and 1980s music LOL! You won't believe what happened to us yesterday afternoon. I don't believe it! My oldest son Michael came over talking on his phone and wanted our wifi password so I gave it to him. It was soon obvious that he was trying to find a way to allow his wife (who he sees but hasn't lived with in over 20 years) to send him some money to his pay pal account. Well after awhile, they said they had to verify something. Michael has stolen drugs and belongings (to sell) from everyone except for me and his sister Jennifer. He's stolen from my ex husband, his brothers Chris and Jon, and his older sister Michelle, but not us. I've given him my debit card before and he's used it exactly the way he asked if he could. He's even put money IN our account when we were having a hard time after Bruce's bad accident. In other words, I kind of trust him. But I suspect now that he was high when this was happening. I couldn't hear what the person was saying to him, I could only hear his side of the conversation. Anyway he needed my debit card so I gave it to him. I told him honestly that the bank said we had $299.12 in our account but we really didn't as there was a check for $120 that hadn't gone through yet and some smaller checks. My register said we actually had $70. Well, after about a half hour, first I noticed that things were happening on my computer and I wasn't controlling it, then at 4:08 I got notified of a pay pal payment being supposedly sent by me to my son for $299! I freaked!!! I instantly went to pay pal and checked and sure enough it was real! Within another minute I was on the phone to my bank to stop it! They instantly locked down our bank account so nothing could be removed from it. (What a relief!) I was shaking and dreaded telling Bruce about it. He was in bed resting as his back was really hurting. But once they locked down the account, we had to go to the bank so they could set up a new account and we could have Social Security send our checks to the new account. We would have gotten those on Nov 1st, now we may have nothing until the 10th. But God's in control, I know He will take care of us, He certainly already has! I've already deleted my bank account and debit card from pay pal and intend to close that account completely. I will set up a new account but there are a few things I have to do first. So Please don't use the donate button as it goes to the old pay pal. I don't want to delete it as I'm hoping I can just change the url on it so that it will eventually link to the new pay pal account. Mainly because i can't remember how I ever managed to add that to this site lol. One of the most important things I have to do is have my computer cleaned out to be sure they didn't get anything off of my computer. I have to do that before I can set up anything new. Don't want them to have any new information they don't already have. Michael was on his phone still as all this happened and was yelling at the guy to give me back my money, and then discovered they had taken all of his money from his account. Not really sure I believe that now, but it's possible. Honestly, I'm still shaking over all of this!

Friday they have it off to sleep it off so I not working on Friday that cool thing going be long weekend for me kick back watch sports
ON Saturday we may get rain in SO CAL certain area get snow certain area get light rain so we may get our first winter warning here in SO CAL I not going out there LOL! stay home throw Bates mill throw over my head watch sports LOL!

Forgot to call for a mail-in ballot, so had to vote in person. That was a bit stressful for this old hermit, but the Lord got me through it.

I went out just one time,
in college with a guy....
he drove me to a parking lot,
in a kind of park.
But no sooner did he stop the car
then two guys come to each of our windows
with guns pointed at our heads!!!
Apparently, he had not paid his dealer a great deal of money
so they threatened to shoot me first!!
( I barely knew his name yikes!)
But yeah, he 'promised to pay the following monday...
and just then....
a police car slowly drove in
and those two skedaddled!!
Oh and at least,
I had enough sense to never go out with him again!
In fact, he just drove me to the place I was staying
( no more 'date')
( and who knows maybe he took off for another state or 10 states away?)
But that police car
being driven into that parking lot,
just then....at that very moment...
as they were threatening to shoot me first,
( yes gun to my head)
was just another 100 zillion times
the Lord saved me
from my sinful foolishness!!!!
And so I did learn...
that dealers
can be a pretty threatening lot!!!

 Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers. I really needed that! I've talked to Michael yesterday, and he accidentally dialed our number on his cell phone and we got to listen to what was going on. Because of all that, I'm sure it wasn't Michael. In fact, now I understand why the guy that did do it, was doing it. He was sending my money to Michael so he could then steal it. He took all of Michael's money out of his pay pal account and tried to get money out of his bank, but thankfully the bank stopped him. But he still got quite a bit out of his pay pal account. If my bank had been literally seconds later locking down my account, our money would have been sent to Michael's account and he would have taken that too. He actually tried to get on Michael's phone again yesterday but Michael had deleted that program so he wasn't able to. So at least I understand what was really going on.
John, I've had to do these things just to get you to post!  (I'm just teasing you!) I'm sorry you had to go in to vote. We will be voting on Tuesday as usual. It's always at our high school which is nearby so no big deal.
That's an amazing story Barbara! God is incredible in the many ways He saves us from ourselves! Wow!!! You should post that one in our miracles forum!
I'm waiting on the bank to call me back, but I think I'd better try them again as it's been a couple of hours already. I'll try and get back here though after I talk to them again. Oh, I spoke to computer places about having them clean my computer and after I explained exactly what happened and exactly what I've done on my computer since then, they've said I've already done everything they would have done and have even used the same scanner. As one of them stated, "I'm sure you're aware that all the computer repair places use Malwarebytes as it's the top of the line; you just can't beat it." I told him I was and that I've had it for so many years it's grandfathered and I don't have to pay for it! It's always caught everything before it had a chance to do anything and generally before the bug was even installed. It's on my browsers too! I'm so glad I have it!!!! What really sold me on it so many years ago was how it caught things that neither McAfee or Norton even noticed. I had McAfee on my computer and Norton on my laptop at the time, and had Malwarebytes on both. I watched for over 6 months and Malwarebytes caught stuff they didn't see over and over again. At that point, I got rid of them and kept malwarebytes! (And at that point I was only using the free version!) I bought the pro version right after that and have had it ever since. I remember telling people about it on our old board and trying to get folks to get it too. I still recommend it to anyone who will listen lol
