WHOA! this just happen Israeli military says it hit targets on Lebanon-Syria border The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it struck a 3.5-kilometer (2-mile) long tunnel that it alleged Hezbollah was using to transfer weapons from Syria into Lebanon. The tunnel enabled "the transfer and storage of large quantities of weapons underground," the IDF said on social media, without providing evidence. The attack, conducted with fighter jets, destroyed buildings, weapons warehouses and "other terrorist infrastructure," it added. The IDF said it also hit "infrastructure" at the Masnaa border crossing between Syria and Lebanon. Lebanon earlier reported that an Israeli strike forced the closure of the Masnaa border crossing, through which more than 300,000 people are estimated to have fled to Syria. www.dw.com/en/lebanon-says-israel-hit-key-border-road-after-beirut-strikes/live-70398725

You try that Iran you get slap down like Rick James slapping Charlie Murphy on Chappelle show Iran threatens retaliatory strikes on Israeli energy sites A senior figure of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said that Iran would respond to any Israeli attack by striking energy sources inside Israel. "If the occupiers make such a mistake, we will target all their energy sources, installations and all refineries and gas fields," IRGC commander Ali Fadavi said. On Tuesday, Iran fired almost 200 missiles toward Israel, some of which hit their targets. The full extent of the damage from the strikes is not yet clear. www.dw.com/en/lebanon-says-israel-hit-key-border-road-after-beirut-strikes/live-70398725

More strike in Beirut Hood Israel hits Beirut’s southern suburbs with a dozen airstrikes Meanwhile tens of thousands of people in Lebanon, including Palestinian refugees, continued to flee the widening conflict. Israel also struck a Palestinian refugee camp deep in the north for the first time as it targeted both Hezbollah and Hamas fighters. Israel's attack on the Beddawi camp near Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli killed an official with Hamas’ military wing along with his wife and two young daughters, the Palestinian militant group said. Hamas later said another military wing member was killed in an Israeli strike in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley. Israel’s military said it killed two senior officials with Hamas’ military wing in Lebanon, where fighting has escalated in recent weeks. Israel has killed several Hamas officials there since the Israel-Hamas war began in addition to most of the top leadership of the Lebanon-based Hezbollah. www.euronews.com/my-europe/2024/10/05/hamas-official-killed-in-israeli-strike-on-refugee-camp-in-lebanon
