Good idea FOLKS LOL! The EU has warned airlines to avoid Israeli and Lebanese airspace for a month, whilst many states urge their citizens in Lebanon to leave immediately. Many states in the EU, including Spain, Portugal and Italy, are warning their last remaining nationals to leave Lebanon immediately, if they have not already done so. And just hours after Israel killed Hezbollah's leader in Lebanon the EU has also warned airlines not to fly over either country. In a statement, The European Commission and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued recommendations to avoid Lebanese and Israeli airspaces on all flight levels. The recommendation is valid until 31 October. www.euronews.com/2024/09/28/eu-states-urge-their-remaining-nationals-to-leave-lebanon-immediately

This is probably the reason even Euro news pick up the story Hezbollah confirms Israel killed its leader Hassan Nasrallah in massive airstrike Iran announced on Saturday that a prominent general in its paramilitary Revolutionary Guard sanctioned by the U.S. also died in the airstrike. Lebanon’s Hezbollah group confirmed on Saturday that its leader and one of its founders, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut the previous day. A statement said Nasrallah “has joined his fellow martyrs.” Hezbollah vowed to “continue the holy war against the enemy and in support of Palestine.” Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah for more than three decades, is by far the most powerful target to be killed by Israel in weeks of intensified fighting with Hezbollah. The Israeli military said it carried out a precise airstrike on Friday while Hezbollah leadership were meeting at their headquarters in Dahiyeh, south of Beirut. The Lebanese Health Ministry said six people were killed and 91 injur www.euronews.com/2024/09/28/israel-says-its-killed-hezbollah-leader-hassan-nasrallah

Yeah I think they want get rid of Nallah or I dont know Israel-Hezbollah conflict: What is behind Iran's restraint? Amid international efforts to reach a cease-fire ahead of a potential ground invasion of Israel's forces in Lebanon, one of the key players in the conflict has been noticeably quiet. Officially, Israel is not at war with Lebanon, but the Hezbollah militia — which is designated as a terrorist organization by several countries, including the US and Germany, while the European Union classifies its armed wing as a terrorist group — is financed, equipped and trained by Iran. "There seems to be a reluctance on the part of Iran to defend Hezbollah directly, which would entail a direct military confrontation with Israel," Burcu Ozcelik, a senior research fellow for Middle East Security at the London-based Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), told DW. This view is echoed by Fabian Hinz, who specializes in defense and military analysis at the British International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). "I believe that a real military intervention is very unlikely for Iran," he told DW.
