On August 16th, 2015 - a man claiming to be a prophet ascended the steps in Grace Community Church and openly rebuked John MacArthur for his doctrine of cessationism. How Dr. MacArthur handled the situation with wit and pastoral sensitivity shows the heart of a pastor who loves God's Word and God's people.

Praise God for godly pastors like John MacArthur. I know he's aware that Satan hates him and would love to stop him. I just hope all his people realize that and pray hard for him daily as Satan doesn't give up. Worse, we don't see the half of what Satan's up to either and that's true for every single godly pastor there is.
