Europe's largest nuclear power plant 'is completely out of control and 'extremely dangerous' since it was taken over by Russian soldiers in Ukraine, UN warns amid fears of another Chernobyl
Why are we also in danger every hour? 1 Corinthians 15:30
International Atomic Energy Agency is pleading with both sides Director general Rafael Grossi said Tuesday situation is getting more perilous
Every principle of safety has been violated one way or the other. And we cannot allow that to continue,' he said. 'What is at stake is extremely serious and extremely grave and dangerous.'
On Monday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused Moscow of using the plant as a 'military base to fire at Ukrainians, knowing that they can't and won't shoot back because they might accidentally strike a nuclear... reactor or highly radioactive waste in storage.'
'That brings the notion of having a human shield to an entirely different and horrific level,' he said.

The evil and insanity continues to worsen daily.
Praying for people to come to salvation quickly, time is running out.

So true Oliver! It is quite mind boggling... but in a way, things are not 'falling apart' they are 'falling in place'
We are watching biblical predictions for the end times coming true at a faster and faster rate!
It is sad but you are so right people do need to come to salvation quickly!
There is the 'woke' crowd of people ( who are actually the 'blind' crowd of unbelievers)
They need to become the 'awake' crowd... to the absolute 'truth'!
I don't 'think' this reactor reached this level all by itself.... but rather, by human intervention ( in a very bad way)
humans living and in love with the 'world' The 'world's' power, greed, money etc etc.
But this world is passing away.... it is actually a 'throw away' world
The worldly folk are so into 'save the planet'.... Wait until they see what God is going to do to the planet!
Nevertheless....this crisis, is one they did not need to happen!

I have recently watched a man from the UK video tape his going to Chernobyl area and showed so few people left there, one man living in poverty, waiting to die and be buried in the near by cemetery, he said all the others have died.

No question Anna....I agree....this is NOT a good thing and it is human sins that caused it! greed, power, war, etc.
In the tribulation, about 2/3 of humanity will die.....

Here update from DW news just now Russia-Ukraine updates: Parts of nuclear plant 'seriously damaged' Ukraine says Russian shelling at the Zaporizhzhia plant poses serious safety risks. Meanwhile, the head of Amnesty International in Ukraine left the watchdog following a controversial report. DW rounds up the latest. Ukraine's state nuclear agency, Enerhoatom, said parts of the captured Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant were "seriously damaged" after a station containing oxygen and nitrogen and an "auxiliary building" were struck by shelling. There is now an increased risk of fire and radiation. On Telegram, the agency said Saturday: "The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is operating at risk of violating the norms of radiation and fire protection." "There remains a risk of hydrogen leaking and radioactive particles dispersing, and the risk of fire is also high," Enerhoatom added. Moscow and Kyiv have traded accusations about who is responsible for the attacks on the plant. The state energy company said Ukrainian power plant personnel were working to maintain safety levels but they remain under threat as Russian forces occupy the plant. On Friday, shelling hit a high-voltage power line at the plan www.dw.com/en/russia-ukraine-updates-parts-of-nuclear-plant-seriously-damaged/a-62729710

And like most news from government sources, it's not clear what part is actual fact(s), what is 'spin', what is deception, what is propaganda, and what parts are lies.
But I think in this case, it's quite probably this is a dangerous situation.

Well check out DW news latest Russia-Ukraine updates: Fresh shelling reported at Ukrainian nuclear plant Ukraine's Energoatom energy company said that Russian shells struck the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power facility several times on Thursday, including hitting very close to the first power unit and near the site where radioactive materials are stored. No injuries were reported and radiation levels remained normal. The nuclear power facility is one of the largest of its kind in Europe, with six reactors. It has been under Russian control since the beginning of March. Meanwhile, Russia-installed local officials claimed Ukrainian forces had shelled the plant for the second time in one day, disrupting the shift changeover of power plant workers. Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Russian-installed regional administration, also wrote on Telegram that at least three strikes were near the radioactive isotope stor www.dw.com/en/russia-ukraine-updates-fresh-shelling-reported-at-ukrainian-nuclear-plant/a-62778568

Reports now suggest that a detailed plan has been drawn up by Russia to disconnect Europe's largest nuclear plant from Ukraine's grid.

Today, August 25, 2022, due to fires at the Zaporizhzhya TPP ash dumps, located next to the Zaporizhzhya NPP,
the last (fourth) transmission line connecting the ZNPP with the power system of Ukraine – OHL-750 kV ZNPP – "Dniprovska" – was cut-off twice.
Three other transmission lines were damaged during Russian shelling earlier.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am thinking this is not good? Isn't the power needed to cool the reaction down?

Well it confirmed by DW news Russia-Ukraine updates: Zaporizhzhia plant temporarily cut off from power grid, says Kyiv The Russian-occupied nuclear power plant regained power after it was disconnected from the electrical grid, Ukrainian officials said. Meanwhile, Putin ordered increasing the size of the military. Follow DW for more. The last regular line supplying electricity to Ukraine's Russian-held Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is working again after being cut earlier on Thursday, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in a statement. "Ukraine told the IAEA that the ZNPP ... at least twice lost connection to the power line during the day but that it was currently up again," the Vienna-based UN nuclear watchdog said, adding that information on the direct cause of the outage was not immediately available. The nuclear plant was disconnected from the national power supply earlier on Thursday for the first time in its history, the Ukrainian state operator Energoatom said. www.dw.com/en/russia-ukraine-updates-zaporizhzhia-plant-temporarily-cut-off-from-power-grid-says-kyiv/a-62923528

This is what I have heard, Russia did a disconnect of the power grid and connected it to a Russian power network. For a brief period of time that disconnect put at risk the cooling system. The system could not just be switched over immediately, one side had to be shut down and then the other side. During that shift the plant was reliant on a back up diesel generator. So there was power going to the nuclear power plant to keep it cool because after only 90 minutes without power the reactors would reach dangerous temperatures and a melt down would begin.
