Breaking news is that Kurdish party going be in Parliament seat for FIRST TIME
The ruling Justice and Development Party (AK party) is leading Turkey's parliamentary polls, but might not form a single-party government, according to the first results from Turkey's semi-official news agency.
The AK Party got 42.9 percent of Sunday's votes as the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) scored 24.7 percent, as 81.3 percent of the votes were counted, according to preliminary data from the Anatolia news agency.
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) secured 17 percent and pro-Kurdish left-wing Peoples' Democracy Party (HDP) held 11.1 percent.
The HDP, which was contesting the elections on a liberal platform, has been seeking to cross the country's 10 percent electoral threshold for the first time to make its way to the parliament.
Its ultimate success will affect the distribution
