Hi, I'm not sure when this started, but since a few days ago when I needed to do a search for a folder, the Search function is not working. A search for "microsoft", for example, takes 1 second and gives "no results to display".
I see that Indexing Service is disabled. Is that the culprit?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
I just now saw this, I'm trying to remember if Index services have to be on. I'd like you to try something: FileSeeker, the free version. If it also fails, we might have a big problem within explorer.exe operations. sourceforge.net/projects/fileseeker/ FileHippo is ok to use.
musicman: Thank you for the welcome message. When I read that verse it made me think of the verse "Perservere for His Names sake..." I have always been inspired by that Verse.
