Indoctrination in Our Public Schools?
By Jay Sekulow September 14, 2015
What if your child or grandchild’s public school forced them to write out the Shahada – the Islamic conversion creed – while ”having skipped Christianity”?
What if your child’s study guide had a section called “Origins of Islam” that included statements such as, “Around the age of 40, the angel Gabriel told Muhammad that he was to be a prophet of Allah.”?
Stated as fact, not belief.
Yet, according to reports and numerous contacts to the ACLJ, that is exactly what is happening. In fact, children are being forced to learn how to convert to Islam and recite that “Allah is the only God.”
It’s Islamic indoctrination right here in our schools.
In Tennessee, these are realities facing parents of middle schoolers. Parents and concerned citizens from at least three counties have contacted us at the ACLJ with concerns about what their students are being taught. ...
Maury County school officials refuse to acknowledge the blatant constitutional violations at issue here, merely stating that they “covered some sensitive topics” that “caused some confusion.”
That’s outrageous. The indoctrination of students with the precepts of converting to Islam and forcing them to recite “Allah is the only God” aren’t “sensitive topics”; it’s unconstitutional.
School officials claim “By the end of the year, students will have studied Buddhism, Hinduism and other religions,” but there is no indication as to what will be covered or for how long.
School officials indicated that in contrast the class would pay mere lip service to Christianity.

Students practice calligraphy by writing "There is no god but Allah"
By Todd Starnes December 15, 2015 FoxNews.com
A Virginia school district is defending a classroom assignment that required students to practice calligraphy by writing the Muslim statement of faith, “There is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
Female students at Riverheads High School in Staunton, Virginia, were also invited to wear Muslim clothing -- a story first reported by The Schilling Show.
“Neither these lessons, nor any other lesson in the world geography course, are an attempt at indoctrination to Islam or any other religion, or a request for students to renounce their own faith or profess any belief,” the district said in a statement provided to Fox News.
The Muslim-friendly calligraphy assignment took place in a world geography class. The teacher had the kids copy the Muslim statement of faith, also known as the shahada.
Parents told The Schilling Show that their children were not given the translation of what they were writing.
In other words, there were more than likely a few Christian teenagers in that room who had no idea they were writing, “There is no god but Allah.”
But the school district doesn’t seem to think that’s a problem.
“The statement presented as an example of the calligraphy was not translated for students, nor were students asked to translate it, recite it or otherwise adopt or pronounce it as a personal belief,” the district stated.
They said it was all about the art — not about the theology.

It getting to the point I almost hate to hear the news anymore, it makes me sick, angry, and helpless.
But then I need to remember, I can pray and God is not a God of fear. But I sure hate what is going on.
Prayerfully, by exposing this, it will be stopped.... at least until the rapture, when it will perhaps be the law of the world, via the anti-christ?

Minnesota School Holiday Concert Includes Chants Of ‘Allahu Akbar’
Blake Neff 12/17/2015
Some parents at a Minnesota school are upset with a choir teacher’s decision to have students sing a Ramadan song that includes the words “Allahu akbar” during a holiday concert.
For a Thursday night holiday concert at Blaine High School, one of the songs chosen is “Eid un Sa’Eid,” an English-language song with some Arabic words that celebrates the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
The lyrics, in part, go as follows:
All over the world Under the big-blue sky Muslims unite to worship Allah
It’s a time of brotherhood, a time of peace Muslims are singing praises to Allah
Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La Ilaaha Illa-Allahu Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar
Allahu Akbar wa Lillahil Hamd Families are gathering Remembering Allah
And that His Love is the Greatest by far All Praise for You Allah
What rankles some parents are the repeated chants of “Allahu akbar,” which means “God is the greatest” in Arabic, and is a common phrase throughout the Islamic world. In the West, though, it’s best known as a battle cry for Islamic extremists (though the phrase is hardly exclusive to them).

The left has literally gone mad. I hope articles such as these will awaken those who dwell in fairyland with the belief that their 'positive thinking' will somehow overcome all of this.

Yes, I agree but should mention 'positive thinking' is not remotely connected to prayer. Prayer works because there is really a God that hears us and always answers His children's prayer...not always the way we want, nor in the timing we hope for, but always ultimately for our eternal benefit.Positive thinking is man trying to change things by thinking 'good thoughts' or trying to send out from ourselves 'good vibes' that will change a situation ( which is not to say, things can change for the good, but it was not by our own might of just thinking positive thoughts).

Yes, I agree that prayer has nothing to do with positive thinking. I was referring to those professing Christians, in particular, who respond to such dreadful news with positive thinking statements as if that will actually change something when really it's nothing more than idolatry. Please forgive the preoccupation in the context of my last statement.
