They say I am not being a good example of a follower of Christ.
Just a reminder, Christ Himself will deny entry into His kingdom

God will judge ALL nations

Thank you all. It was totally unexpected. I think I'm still in shock. I will try and be back here this coming week, maybe by Tuesday, but I can't promise. I have a TON of paperwork to do to get him buried, hopefully before the ground freezes. Otherwise we will have to wait till spring to bury him. But then maybe we just should cremate him. He actually preferred that. Once I get all the paperwork done, then I'll be able to be back here. I was with him when he died, holding his hand. I kissed him goodbye, like I used to kiss him goodnight. He took one last peaceful breath, and he was gone.
Many years ago Chris was told he had a lot of gall stones, but the doctor said he'd pass them sooner or later. But he never did. Instead the stones wound up blocking the Bile duct and other ducts. This caused him to throw up stomach acid every morning, which literally burned his esophagus. That got worse and worse over time until finally it would be so burnt that the veins in the esophagus would be opened and he'd start bleeding internally. Usually it was just a small amount at first. Only enough for him to spit the blood out. Eventually that got worse and back in August he was in intensive care for a week till they could stop the internal bleeding and prevent any further bleeding, at least for awhile.
He had an appointment for Nov 30th for them to do an endoscopy to see how it looked. They didn't want him to start bleeding again. (Oh, I almost forgot- he's been on blood thinners for years because without them his blood would get too thick and clot up; then when it got to his heart, or brain it would kill him.) So having thin blood means that the person is going to bleed a whole lot more and faster than normal. But they'd done an EKG the day before and said it looked like he'd had a heart attack, so they were afraid to put him under anesthesia again. Chris started bleeding again that night. If they'd let him have the endoscopy, he'd still be here. But it was his time to go, and I think he wanted to. He was very tired of all the pain.
I didn't let my daughter come to the hospital though. I didn't even give her the option. I knew she wouldn't be able to handle seeing Chris the way he was then. The doctors pumped blood into him and it came right back out through his nose and mouth. So the lower half of his face was covered with blood. The nurses were constantly suctioning him and wiping his nose and mouth, but it was a gruesome, nasty sight. I knew that if Jenn saw him like that, she'd have nightmares for years. I was amazed that Bruce was able to stay next to me for those hours as he doesn't do well with blood at all. I was sitting by his head, and Bruce was an arm length away from me, so sitting by his waist. The chaplain came in and talked to us and told Bruce he wanted him to scoot up next to me, to comfort me. But I instantly told him, "No!" "He is comforting me greatly where he is. He doesn't do well with blood and the fact that he's even in the room with me is a great comfort!" Poor Bruce, I think he would have fainted if he'd had to get closer at that point. But once the blood stopped pouring out of Chis and got down to a slow trickle, just before he died, Bruce was also able to stand up and walk over to the head of the bed and tell him good bye.
I can talk about it this way because I can cry and type. (I don't have to see the keyboard to type as I learned touch typing in high school). I still can't talk about it though without sobbing.
We've already spoken to Chris' lawyer. Chris had a will which named me his sole beneficiary and executor, or Bruce if I couldn't do it for some reason. Since Chris was the executor for my ex husband's estate, that makes me the executor for both my ex-husband's estate and my son's estate. So there's another ton of paperwork I have to do. I don't mean to complain...in fact, I think it's kind of ironic and funny too. Plus, the paperwork takes my mind off the pain in my heart. I have to tell you though that my mind isn't functioning at 100% yet. So forgive me any errors I make.
I love you guys! I couldn't have made it through this up till now without each and every one of you and each of your prayers! I can't possibly thank you enough!

Well yesterday I went to my doctor I already have my blood test one of wacky week that kids are doing testing I took a so called personal day off get my blood test I am good only thing they put me in new Cholostieal drug I think I am that age they raised milligrams on thattt LOL!
I am good check this out my doctor check out my face to see if I have skin cancer she was impressive with no or little wrinkles I told her about Colonial dames skin cream she hear of the product
She said I am good medical wise no flair up of tumor coming from my intenstive so I think there was no cancer PTL

That was way worse than what I thought.
I have been praying and praying for you. I know your heart is broken, and you miss him terribly. At the same time, Chris is with Jesus now, and no more pain or hurt, or suffering. And you will see him soon.
I am in tears reading what you wrote. I do pray God will comfort and strengthen you.
It is ironic, that what should be dreaded paper work, is in a strange way, a small help.
Wouldn't it be great if Jesus raptures us soon.
I know, His timing, not mine....
but still....
