Good morning, I saw a kitten outside of my home so I put out some milk and the mother cat came and drank the milk, the cat will hiss at me and then come close to me when I put some hamburger on the ground, then she pointed her nose at the milk bowl so I got her some more milk and she drank that also, this morning I put some egg and milk out in the spot where I fed her and I think she left a gift for me eeewww it was a dead rat, but glad she keeps the area cleared out of such.

Looking back through history it has been that way, that the son works with the dad to learn a trade, that is probably why there are so many lost and wild youth on the streets today, no dad to work with teaching them.
Well I saw today that there are 6 kittens with that momma cat, the cats came here and they will probably all go when ready to move on. So momma cat got milk and canned salmon today, now she is as happy as a pig in mud, I never see the kittens they are always in hiding but got a glance of them this morning playing in the sunshine.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been AWOL. I was in a lot more pain then usual a couple of days ago and just couldn't do anything that day. Thankfully it let up that night. The next day we had to take Chris to the doctor in another city again. It's been really nice weather though. Wish I could get outside and work in the garden but I have to much to do inside. Oh well, I'll get out there eventually.
Kelly, that's great that your neighbors son is going to a local trade school and is going to work with his dad. I hope Elijah goes to a trade school instead of collage. He just might get to be an apprentice to another man in town. That would be awesome! Elijah loves photography and is very good at it.
I agree Marlene. I think being an apprentice is a great way to learn a trade. That's neat about the cat and the kittens too.

I'm back! We had a very nice family day yesterday after church. I actually won a game of Bananagram! Normally Gracie beats me almost every time, so I was excited to actually win for a change.
Elijah's been sick so they haven't been able to come over for a couple of weeks, but he's finally doing better. (He has asthma and the pollen hit him hard this year.)
I hope you're all doing well too!

I am also having a problem with allergies, this has been the coolest month of May since I have lived here and I leave the windows open and I am surrounded by new weeds that are growing, as long as the temperature is below 92F then I am ok but will need to figure out how to use the new ac that I had to buy, haven't tried it out yet, got concerned when I got through the mail they want me to give a 5 star review. I just heard a boom sound, don't know what that was but looking out my window I saw that momma cat is coming from the wooded area out back and is bringing a rat back with her carrying it in her mouth, she brought a rat in and went under my home, probably for the kittens, indoor cat are ok but these wild ones I don't care for so much. Looking south I notice a gray haze in the sky like it is over Mexico, maybe because they are having volcano problems down there at this time. Hope I don't start breathing in ash.

I'm sorry to hear you're having allergy trouble too Marlene. It seems like many people are now, including many who haven't had problems before now. I hope you feel better soon!
I'm trying to get Chris an appointment for today, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. We'll see....

Hi,
God has been so good to me. He has given me favour with my work - thank you for everyones prayers!
Its intersting - in the last days the Mark of the Beast will mark those who arent for God, but believers I believe are already marked for God - guess it makes it easy for the angels to gather and burn those who are for the anti Christ in the Last Days, as it says in the Bible. Matt 13:49
I think trade school is a good idea for kids who arent academic. I know lots of tradies who do quite well.
The cat and the rat present....well, its one less rat. My great aunt has this outsde cat on her farm that brought her 35 rabbits one year as gifts....means less rabbit management needed too!

What great memories Kelly! I love to hear about things like that!
I'm so glad you're liking your job Steve and doing well. What a blessing that must be for you!
We spent Tuesday talking Chris to a hospital to see a surgeon, and thanks to the Lord, he agreed to do the surgery for Chris. So he's scheduled to have the surgery on Friday the 9th. We'll have to run him to our local hospital on Monday and Tuesday to have bloodwork done and another paracentesis before the surgery.
I'm sorry I wasn't here yesterday, but I felt awful all day and wasn't up to doing anything at all. Today's a little better thankfully!
I'd better go check out the Bible study that Barbara's been doing. It's really good!

Well, I am not sure what 'exactly' is going on with Devon, but this is his 3rd day in a row staying home, not going to school....because he is sick ( Hossanah thought it is a cold) but then again, it could be severe allergies also?
so glad to hear your job is going well!
Cindy what news at this point for Chris....assuming you know anything yet?

Good day, I am waiting to soon go to my first Azure pick up from the truck, though a woman will pick up for me and deliver to a closer area for me and 4 others, that is good because it is less driving and that pick up area is just the end of a person driveway onto the highway, so there is room for the truck to pull off but after that only a few cars could pull off there also.
It seems we all are doing the best we can with allergy problems, I just ordered some allergy medicine, what I am taking now is two years old, so I will get that in a few days.
Cindy you do well, your so busy right now, saying prayer and yes Barbra does well in what she writes, I look forward to reading what she writes, with scripture.
The cat is now my new little skinny friend, she will take food from my hand, so far I don't see the kittens much but probably will soon. I showed my old dog the cat eating food as my dog wanted to know why food was going out the back door and not to her. The cat is a calico cat but the kittens fur is all just one color.

You asking at the same time I posted was funny Barbara! There is one possible glitch for the surgery. If the blood test shows his liver to have gotten worse again, then the surgery will have to be postponed until it gets better again. The reason for that is that he could bleed out on the table, but there's a much less chance of that if the test shows his liver is doing better. I'm hoping it will be stable so we can get this over with.
I'm sorry to hear Devon's been sick. Elijah missed almost a week of school a little over a week ago due to all the pollen triggering a bad asthma attack. But he's doing a lot better now. I hope Devon will be too!
Thank you for your encouragement Marlene. It sounds like you've made a friend with that cat! What did your dog think about it? that's interesting that the mom's a calico but the kittens aren't. I was just reading a few weeks ago about what colors are dominant in cats. I'd have to go look it up again though as I can't remember all of it.
How did you manage to watch an entire show during lunch time Kelly? We never got more than 30 minutes for lunch and it took about 5 to get home and 5 to get back to school!
I hope you all have a great day today. I'm going to check out Barbara's Bible study and then off to do chores!
