I couldn't believe my eyes Saturday afternoon. We were going shopping and whenever we drive anywhere I always look out my window at the woods to see if I can see a deer or any other animal. But I sure wasn't expecting what I saw this time! It was a full grown pig! I told Bruce and he turned the car around and went back so he could see it too lol. I knew it had to be domesticated because it didn't so much as flinch when the cars went by. While he wasn't next to the road by any means, the woods he was in went right up to the road and he was only a few yards from it. When Bruce saw him, he realized then that the pig belonged to one of the guys he works with. It must be well behaved because there wasn't any fence at all that I could see. But Bruce said there was a wire fence, I just couldn't see it.

BTW I think we going really lift mask mandate by end of March if hospitaliation and other stuff still going down I think they really want play it safe
I think going be end of March of end of mask mandate now OC County is lifting today not sure about their school also they think maybe end of this month entire State schools would lifting mask mandate 80 to 90% of kids are fully vacinnated

Talked to a man yesterday asking him how he was doing because we had not seen him around for a week, he said he caught this and was sick for a week and now is going back to work because he feel 90% better after staying home away from work and resting for 1 week.

You going hear stories about unvaccinated being discrimnate in LA County reason there is little minority they are tick off with city father who are vaccinated in first place you going hear lawsuit and other stuff they shouldn't say jack be honest I agree if you can't medically approve dont get vaccine

Didn't sleep well, seems like when there is a full moon I don't sleep well and also the wind was howling. My instant pot is not working like it should, I will try doubling the amount of time to cook with it and if it still does not do well then I will go back to using my stove top pressure cooker.
I do prefer to be the passenger in the car instead of the driver as like you I like to just look around. The last time I was driving to the store I saw a new large home that was built that was not there the previous time I went down that highway, I wondered how can that be, then I saw an advertisement that elon had these new kind of homes that are like for example a flat cardboard box and they fold out like a cardboard box would, I like that, seems like a good idea, but I don't know about the home I saw, for a moment seeing the home made me feel like I wanted to be the pink panther in Sherlock pink, you know with a magnifying glass.

Sorry to hear that you didn't sleep well Marlene. I hope you're able to get a good nights sleep tonight. That's to bad about your instant pot. Can't you get it fixed somewhere, or exchange it for another one maybe? I was thinking I'd like to have one, but then I realized too that the more they can do the more that can go wrong with them. So I decided to just stick with my crock pot. It's got to be over 25 years old and still works as well as it did when I first got it. I use it a lot too. |

My mom still have her crock pot from over 60 years ago this was wedding gift she used it occasionally for soup and other stuff
We talking about the 1960 the year that when my parents got marry she still used it she still had her original tea set some of the cups some of the cups were broken I think of 2 of them got broken in various earthquake she used to have set of 20 cups now down to 18 year not too shabby
Well it today first day we can go without mask in certain area of LA I went to local donut shop no masks they got different health dept
It is good to breathe LOL!

That's neat that your Mom still has them Kelly! I have a lot of coffee cups and saucers that originally belonged to my grandmother. She gave them to my Mom, and when she died, I got them. I've given them to my oldest daughter, so she has them now.

I got a question do you know any store brick and mortar or online that you can score George Washington bedspread I want that type of bedspread my mom recently got inside of the house painted all the bedroom I look into change the design I think going George Washington bedspread I haven't slept on once SINCE I was 8 year old LOL!
My mom think change the bedspread in their room
My brother knew somebody who does painting inside the house it was painted this past December for couple days it is good
I just wonder do you any online store or brick and mortar in country

I would check out these places for the bedspread, Amazon, Kohl's, JCPenney, L.L.Bean, or The Vermont country store.
The last few days I have been watching video's, riding shotgun, it is like riding in the passenger seat with a long haul semi truck driver, this diver talks as he drives, mostly through the CO mountains.

Good morning everyone! I don't know about the weather in other states, but for us, it feels like we haven't even had winter yet. We've had very little snow this year. There's only been a few times that the ground was completely covered with snow and it never lasted very long. I'm still hoping we'll get a huge blizzard, but even if we do, it wouldn't be enough to ensure everyone will have water this summer. It's not at all unusual to have a big storm even in April, though, so maybe if we get several between now and May, it might be ok. But it doesn't look like it will happen.
I finally got our taxes done yesterday, so at least I don't have to deal with that anymore this year. That's a relief! Have you guys done yours yet?

Speaking of weather we going get good storm here in SO CAL dont be suprise if you hear snow in certain area the temperature going down to mid 30s in certain area in my area dont be suprise in North Hollywood you hear snow LOL! that going be cold doesn't happen that much does happen
Only time I got measureable snow I was sophomore in high school it was Saturday morning the snow was on the ground yes i Play in it LOL! that was in the 1980s it happen very rare we need the hills of Hollywood does get really cold we do get the winds sometime
