My words are in this color and Bible scripture in this color
As Christians we are still awaiting the rapture, and we won't be on earth for the 7 year tribulation.
However, after the 7 years of tribulation, we will be back on earth with Jesus for His 1000 year reign called the Millennial Kingdom, or sometimes refereed to, as: Paradise regained ( the Garden of Eden was Paradise lost, lost by Adam and Eve's sin).
In the Garden of Eden, God was the Supreme ruler, and in the Millennium Theocracy will be restored.
At the end of the 7 years of Tribulation, Jesus returns to earth, with Christians and angels.
He comes back, not as the suffering servant, this time, but as:
On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords.
Revelation 19:16
We see a promise of this in the Old Testament:
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. Deuteronomy 10:17
And also:
Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. Psalms 136:3
The Millennial Kingdom, will be a fulfilling of this verse:
10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10
When Jesus returns at the end of 7 years, there will be a war, an immense battle, called: The battle of Armageddon.
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. Revelation 19:19
But who could possibly think, there would be any outcome, but.... Jesus as victor?
20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. Revelation 19:20,21
During the 1000 years, Jesus is going to renovate planet earth.
It is important to note, that during this 1000 years, there won't be a devil to influence people
1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:1,2
As powerful, scary, etc. as Satan is to humans: It does not appear, that the angel, has any problem, seizing the devil, and binding him.
As to the 'chain' I doubt it is made of iron but rather, it is some kind of restraint, that does not allow any degree of freedom.
There are some folks, who mistakenly think Satan is bound now.
Just a quick look at the world, begs to differ, but as always, the best proof is, God's word. Here are just a few verses:
4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God 2 Corinthians 4:4
And
2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. Ephesians 2:2
Plus
7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
One more:
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
Satan is prowling around now, but he won't be in the Millennial 1000 year kingdom of Jesus. No one at that time, will be able to try to use the excuse:
The Devil made me do it.
Done for Today.

I was thinking you thought the other thread was too long, and it was time to move on.
Plus, I thought, I had mostly addressed the questions, somewhere ( maybe not exactly straight forward tho), but yup.... I will go back, there today, and try to be more concise and succinct.

I did a bit more study on the sin and fear thread, but, not knowing yet, if that was what you were asking,
instead of continuing in perhaps the wrong direction ....
Today, since it's Sunday, and I have to get ready and go to church,
I will come back to this thread, until tomorrow.
Arrrggghhh! I forgot, today is daylight savings....so this will be even shorter I thought I had an hour more than I do sigh!

My words are in this color Biblical scriptures are in this color today
The Old Testament promises a future earthy kingdom of the Messiah
6 “I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father. 8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. 9 You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” Psalms 2:6
I think the 'I will', ( in the Psalm 2 verse above) indicates a future time frame.
There are many such verses. In this next one, we know Jesus did come once, as a baby... but he did not 'rule' that will happen in His second coming, during the millennium ( the 1000 year reign) . ( and on into the New Heaven and New earth)
6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. Isaiah 9:6,7
We are already told in these verses, that Jesus government will be: great peaceful justice will prevail and His righteousness and it will be: eternal, forever and ever.
And here is another:
For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.
8 God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.
9 The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted. Psalms 47:8,9
And one more for today:
13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,[ coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
Daniel 7:13,14
These are just some of the Old testament promises of Jesus reigning on Earth and forever in eternity, in the New Heaven and New Earth.
One thing we already know about the Millennial Kingdom is: We will have a King. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
King Jesus! There will be no sin of any kind in this eternal King.

My words will be in this color today and Biblical scriptures in this color today.
So far, we see that Satan, the devil will be bound, during the Millennial Kingdom, and Jesus will reign, as: King of kings, and Lord of lords.
The good news is while Satan is bound, he won't be able to deceive people,
However.....
When he is released, after the 1000 years he goes right back to his old tricks!
7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth— Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. Revelation 20:7
Nevertheless, for 1000 years, there will be no influence from him, the devil and his demons, will be rendered completely inoperative, for all of the Millennial Kingdom.
The devil won't be able to spread his lies:
44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44
So the world be free of Satan's: theories, religions, cults, morals music, books, movies, rebellions, philosophies, psychologies, education, etc., etc., etc.
All sorts of stimulation, that would greatly entice, all types of sin, will be removed. Instead:
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. Jude 1:2
And this;
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8
And at the start of the Millennium, the last of the unregenerate of the world, have been destroyed, by the Armageddon holocaust.
You might think, that all the children, born to the redeemed people, who got to enter into the 1000 year reign,
would all become Christians........
But sadly, that will NOT be the case. The depravity of the sin of mankind, is that deep, all encompassing, complete etc .
This was true in the beginning, of time and is true even in the Millennium:
5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5
And this:
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9
Jesus said this in His first coming:
34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Matthew 12:34
What this will prove, once and for all, is, it is not just that we are 'deceived', but that
19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. John 3:19
Tragically, people want to have what they call:
a 'good' time, fun, 'pleasure' be thrilled be scared be enticed, be 'naughty' be excited be rebellious etc.
Then, there is also the aspect of: a 'restoring' of the earth, because during the tribulation, the earth will be basically devastated, in a state of near total ruin.
For example, Isaiah prophesized this:
Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. Isaiah 40:4
It will be a time, when the earth could say:
21 “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things!
22 Fear not, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness are green; the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and vine give their full yield. Joel 2:21,22

My words will be in this color today and Biblical scripture quotes will be in this color today.
I probably should have mentioned, there are some who say, that the 1000 years, of the Millennium Kingdom, is an: allegorical or figuratively way of saying: 'a long time'.
As 'IF' God could not have just said: a long time.
( Some people, also, try to do the same thing with Genesis chapter one, and the Creation.
People try to say, the 6 'days' were more like millions of years.
Again, do they really think, God was incapable of speaking clearly?
Actually in Revelation 20, God specifically says:
2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, Revelation 20:2
And
3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. Revelation 20:3
Plus:
4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4
Again:
5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection Revelation 20:5
This:
6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:6
Finally:
7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison ]Revelation 20:7
Six times in Revelation chapter 20, God specifies 1000 years. I feel certain, God could have said:
For a few days a few months a few years, for awhile, a long time etc.
Instead He said an exact number, (1000) 6 times, in one chapter.
When God repeats something even twice, He is making a point for us to notice and six times, makes it clear to me, it will be a 1000 years!
Jesus will restore the earth back, after the terrible devastation of the tribulation So that:
“26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. 27 You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame. Joel 2:26,27
The earth being restored, allows people to eat in plenty.
“21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things!
22 Fear not, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness are green; the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and vine give their full yield.
23 “Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before. Joel 2:21-23
Another aspect of nature during this time will have to do with the animals.
In the Garden of Eden, animals were not fearful of man.
But after the flood of Noah, the Animals were in fear of man:
2 The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. Genesis 9:2
But during the tribulation the animals will become aggressors, as suggested, I 'think', perhaps in this verse:
21 “For thus says the Lord God: How much more when I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment, sword, famine, wild beasts, and pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast! Ezekiel 14:21
But in any case, for sure, in this verse, (which definitely) happens during the tribulation:
7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”
8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:7,8
However, another reversal concerning man and animals, during the Millennium:
6 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. Isaiah 11:6-11

It sounds wonderful!

I agree! I need to be patient and rest on God's timing.... because the Rapture and Millennium can't come too fast for me.
However, I know others ( many of my family and friends) may need to be saved first, or they will have to go thru the tribulation.... but, as hard and as terrible as that will be.... if they are saved, then, so be it.

My words will be in this color and Biblical scriptures in this color today
If we recall, during the tribulation, there was ( will be) terrible upheavals, ravages, ruination:
earthquakes like never before ocean and water polluted on a global scale talk about 'climate change' with the sun and moon etc. dead bodies on such a massive scale as never before (except the flood of Noah)
Which is why, tho we ought to do our part, to be good stewards of earth....
Our 'save the Earth' ecological concerns, are circumscribed and confined....
BECAUSE we are more concerned about saving people, for eternity with Christ.
But the devastation (that will occur during the tribulations) will be in the Millennial Kingdom:
restored, reestablished, renewed, repaired and refreshed.
17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
19 I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive. I will set in the desert the cypress, the plane and the pine together,
20 that they may see and know, may consider and understand together, that the hand of the Lord has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it. Isaiah 41:17-20
Imagine, Satan is removed, the environment will be back to perfect, Justice, and peace will reign and yet..... people will still love sin and reject Jesus!
I don't think I mentioned Jesus will be reigning from Jerusalem:
Then the moon will be confounded and the sun ashamed, for the Lord of hosts reigns on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and his glory will be before his elders. Isaiah 24:23
And tho, this next verse says, they won't follow their evil heart.... I am thinking that is for all who go into the Millennium but is not referring to, their children, or their children's children etc.
17 At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart. Jeremiah 3:17
Plus:
The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. Psalms 93:1
Also
9 And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one. Zechariah 14:9
and This:
6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,
“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.
Revelation 19:6
As I already mentioned, there will be peace, and justice ( but even that will not change many sinners heart, from loving sin more)
Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. Isaiah 9:7

Good one! What you said about Jeremiah 3:17 is true, but that verse is actually only speaking about Israel. Although all Israel will be saved as scripture says, and will enter the Millennial Kingdom, like you said, some of their children may not choose to be saved. The children of the Gentiles may also choose not to be saved, which we learn about in other scriptures, such as those in Isaiah.
Hope you have a great day today!

My words will be in this color today Biblical scriptures in this color today
In thinking about how fearful, many people have been, and some still are concerning Covid, because they are afraid they will die....
However, besides all the terrible things that will happen to bodies of humans, during the tribulation, it seems like there will be one last plague/pandemic, not for just people, but animals
15 And a plague like this plague shall fall on the horses, the mules, the camels, the donkeys, and whatever beasts may be in those camps. Zechariah 14:15
In the millennial kingdom, pandemics won't be an issue, to speak of, because It will be more like this verse:
No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed. Isaiah 65:20
If someone were to die at a hundred, it would be as if a 'young' man had died. However, health will be widespread.
'Pandemic will not be a 'word' anymore, because it will not need to be used. LOL
They will also have 'living waters' to boost physical health:
8 And on that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.
9 And the Lord will be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one. Zechariah 14:8,9
And mentioned here, I think:
1 Then he brought me back to the door of the temple, and behold, water was issuing from below the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). he water was flowing down from below the south end of the threshold of the temple, south of the altar. Ezekiel 47:1
This happens, because when Jesus comes back, a huge earthquake occurs, and splits the mountain.
4 On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. Zechariah 14:4
And there is this:
The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him! Psalms 67
This too will be the norm:
“ 24 The threshing floors shall be full of grain; the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.
26 “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame.
Joel 2:24-26
Plus this:
“And in that day the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the stream beds of Judah shall flow with water; and a fountain shall come forth from the house of the Lord and water the Valley of Shittim. Joel 3:18

Good! I would like to add though that there is a reason God extends the plague to the animals at that time as seen in Zechariah 14:15. The men and animals that are stricken with this plague are all around Jerusalem attacking it in the final war of Armageddon. God won't allow any of the people to escape or to continue to attack Jerusalem. The animals He is speaking about in that verse are the animals used by the various militaries, and they could be used to help the men escape or continue to fight. All of the people will have the mark of the beast. Let me post that verse in context so you can see what it's saying: “This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other. Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.” (Zechariah 14:12–15)

My words will be in this color today Biblical scriptures in this color today
Satan has always offered fraudulent counterfeits and hoaxes, to bamboozle people down a deceptive primrose path, to Hell.
During the tribulation, he will pretend to be the savior of the world, by being a supreme dictator. The devil will make all kinds of wonderful promises, all of them, deadly lies.
However, during the Millennial Kingdom, the real Savior, Jesus, will reign, and all His promises will be fulfilled.
Satan ( the anti-Christ) will promise peace, but will actually kill more people than ever before
Jesus however:
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
and
Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:7
The World's only perfect King and ruler, Jesus! ( the world will have had THE worst ruler, the anti-Christ, for 7 terrible terrifying long years!)
But when Jesus returns and sets up the Millennial Kingdom, there will be true 'peace and safety'!
It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure. Zechariah 14:11
Not only that but Jesus will be a totally just ruler and judge:
but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Isaiah 11:4
Also:
This is what the LORD says: "I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain." Zechariah 8:3
Plus
The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name. Zechariah 14:9
There will be such purity, righteousness, holiness, justice etc. This will be the case:
20 On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD's house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar. Zechariah 14:20
In other words, these 1000 years, are not going to be like today. So much is 'unholy' today! God does not want 'pollution'... The Lord does not want the 'pollution of unholiness.
There is even a more astounding aspect, of the Millennial Kingdom and that is, the saints will be ruling with Jesus!
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Revelation 20:6
And this:
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 1 Corinthians 6:2
There is this verse:
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9
We know what is coming as Christians. We know about the coming tribulation and after that the Millennial Kingdom, and also we will be ruling and judging, in some way, with our Lord and Savior Jesus:.
I think: we ought to be carefully considering this verse,
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 2 Peter 3:11

My words will be in this color today and Biblical scriptures in this color today
I think it won't be just those Christians who are alive at the Rapture, who will reign with Jesus during the Millennial Kingdom, but all Christians who died, and the Old Testament Saints:
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2
I think that just the Saints ( who died) and who are going l to reign with Jesus, during the Millennial Kingdom, will be resurrected ... ( during the Rapture..... And of course, those who were alive and Raptured)
But after the Millennial Kingdom.... The unbelievers, will be resurrected , to stand before the Great White Throne judgment.
35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body do they come?” 1 Corinthians 15:35
The believers will have their new bodies.
I am not sure, but perhaps, the parable Jesus told, (of the nobleman who 'left' and when he came back, he spoke to His servants, He left in charge....)
was a peek into our reign with Him, during the Millennial Kingdom:
17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’
18 And the second came, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made five minas.’
19 And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.
Luke 19:17-19
So, it seems we 'rule', but of course, under the absolute authority of Jesus:
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. 5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, 6 “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”
7 I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.” Psalms 2:4-9
When rebels once again arise, Jesus will deal with it quickly, and, righteously.
Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins. Isaiah 11:5
And
5 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. Jeremiah 23:5
Also this:
He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. Isaiah 2:4
Plus:
1 Give the king your justice, O God, and your righteousness to the royal son!
2 May he judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice!
3 Let the mountains bear prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness!
4 May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor!
Psalm 2:1-4

Today is a very short day, as it is Sunday, and I have to get ready for church etc. and I got up late :(
My words will be in this color and Biblical Scripture in this color today.
There will be many spiritual characteristics, in the Millennial Kingdom, that we are hard pressed to find, in our day and age, like: 'Truth'.
We can only know for certain what is truly true today, when we find it in the Bible. But in the Millennial Kingdom, Jesus, The Word, The Truth will be there in person.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
And
The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Psalm 119:160
Plus
32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Another aspect will be peace:
The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. Isaiah 32:17
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8
And
The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. Psalm 29:11
Also
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1
These are famous verses of some of the peace there will be:
6" The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them.
7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:6-11

my words will be in this color and Biblical Scriptures in this color
Not surprisingly, people will worship God, during the Millennial Kingdom:
2 It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it,
3 and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:2,3
Jesus will continue His spiritual influence over believers.
32 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls. Joel 2:32
And also:
6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:6
Those that were raptured , will already have their spiritual bodies, but those born during the 1000 years will not.
21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. Philippians 3:21
and
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18
I think, sometimes, even Christians get so caught up, in all the going on, of this present world things like: pleasures, sin, sorrows, power, fame, fortune, and all the enticements of this world, etc...
They forget, that 'none of it', can compare, at all, to the glories, of heaven, the Millennial Kingdom....
and the New Heaven and the New Earth.
I doubt when this will happen that it will be boring!
12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! 2 Peter 3:12
There is waaay more, than this present earthly life!
We believers have been promised untold blessings, ( some now) but an eternity of them, in eternity future :
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, Ephesians 1:3
Actually, we are living in a dark shadowy world right now, there is so much ugliness due to sin....
But soon and very soon ( I hope ) :)
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12
Jesus was, is and shall ever be:
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:13
When Jesus first came, it was as the suffering servant:
3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:3-5
But that will not be the Jesus during the Millennial Kingdom, He suffered and died for us, once and for all
During the 1000 year reign, and forever, He is and will be:
15 which he will display at the proper time— he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 1 Timothy 6:15
So, in a similar way, as Jesus is no longer the suffering servant, We will have received our new sin free bodies.
We will not only be 'born again, internally, but we will be rid of our sin cursed bodies, and have perfected redesigned ones!
When Jesus was resurrected, he did all the normal things, like eating, drinking, talking, walking etc.
However, he also did things like: walk thru walls, travel from earth to heaven etc. etc.
Again, those are not 'boring things!
2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2

Done for Today
Well done!
Psalm 2:1-4
Done for Today
Good! This should cause every Christian to reflect on whether or not they are becoming more like Jesus enough to be able to rule a part of His Kingdom? We need to ask ourselves if we handle being an authority figure well or not. We need to ask how well we deal with confrontation, because we will have to be able to deal with it the way Jesus did. Since Jesus will rule with "a rod of iron" meaning there will be no "loopholes" or escape from consequences, we should ask if we too can rule that way. There's plenty of other questions we should ask ourselves about as well. To many who call themselves Christians, seem to think that God is going to wave a magic wand over them and they'll suddenly become completely mature in their faith, knowing and understanding His Word and His Will totally. Because they think that way, they don't bother to study His Word now and therefore will lose any rewards they would have gotten (that is IF they were actually saved.) God doesn't work that way though. He tells us in His Word what His will for us is and what He expects from us, both daily and long term. We are to be using our life here and now to grow in love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus, and we're to be a little more like Him every day. His Word is what will renew our minds and change us from the inside out. God is not going to turn over the Millennial Kingdom to a bunch of babies, or to people who didn't think He was worth taking the time to study the Bible to learn more about Him. He gives us all plenty of time to grow into the adult children that will rule with the Lord Jesus. He doesn't expect us to be perfect, as that won't happen until death or the rapture, but He does expect us to be working toward that goal.
I have always hated confrontation of any sort and for many years I did all I could to avoid it. But when the Lord brought this to my attention, I realized that I couldn't avoid it any longer. From then on I would have to deal with confrontation. Thankfully God gives us many opportunities to practice dealing with confrontation. (amazing how we can now give thanks for something we always hated, and to some extent still do!)
Being able to rule like Jesus does, requires a lot of different things. We need to be in control of our feelings, especially anger, never letting it control us. We need to be sure that when we are angry that it's a righteous anger and that it's directed at correcting the situation, not punishing someone. We need to work on loving others the way Jesus loves us, which includes forgiving and reconciling with people we had a problem with or who had a problem with us, whenever possible. The only time it isn't possible is when the person is dead or when they refuse to have anything to do with you. Basically, being able to rule with Jesus means we need to grow up in Him in every way. We don't need to worry about what to work on first, because the Lord Himself will choose that, and He will test us regularly to see where we've grown and what we need more work on. Of course He already knows that, but gives us the tests so we can know it as well. So the next time a trial comes our way, we really can rejoice because God is using that trial to make us more like Jesus so we can reign with Him!
Done for today
What you say is true, but some people don't see the qualifiers in those verses, and they're important. Let me use the first verse you quoted as an example: “The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.” (Isaiah 32:17) So with this verse we see that it's the righteous who will have peace, not "everyone". Next you used this verse: “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.” (Psalm 4:8) Who can lie down and sleep in peace? Only those who realize that it's the Lord who makes them safe and keeps them safe. So again we see it's only the true believers who will have peace in the Millennial Kingdom. Sadly there will be a huge number of people who won't want anything to do with Jesus, and they most surely won't have peace. Again this verse proves it's only those who are really saved who will have peace: “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,” (Romans 5:1) There are a great many promises in the Bible and I hear people "claim" them all the time. Their claims often don't come true because they don't pay attention to the qualifiers.

Oh dear......I am totally convicted about the qualifications to 'ruling'... only.... one, no .....two problems:
I have always stunk at being an being an authority figure, and forget confrontation!
Other than those two ( like super important ones)
I am moving more or less in the right direction.
Well, kind of, if I don''t deal with confrontation, it is NOT loving....
tho I can be gentle, and kind ( or is it just cowardly?) in the end, if I am not dealing with confrontation it is not a kindness!
Soooooooo.....
And it is getting so late on God's time clock!
I do confront the grand kids, a wee bit. But never did with my own children..... and still don't
You and I have talked a little about my son
and then that is tricky, because, if someone is not saved, and made it clear they do NOT want to hear it......
well, how does one confront?
Oh and the information about qualifiers was great! I will try to include that ( more) when studying and writing.
Thank you so much for the help!!!
You have been such a positive and encouraging person in my life! Thank you. God has used you greatly, in my life!

Ha! Ha!
Well, I either am 'rudely' awoken at the crack of dawn LOL
(Remember my definition of 'crack of dawn') ?
And do Bible study 'early' in the wee hours of the morning.....
Or like today, I get up at a reasonable hour and get tea, chat with hubby a bit etc. and then at 9 ( my time)
Start the Bible study.... it is almost 8:30 here soooooo
It's a 'reasonable' day today.
Part of the problem these days are, my pain level has risen, but I am taking NO pain meds. I do have muscle relaxers but that makes it hard to keep any thoughts in my head!
Additionally, I have started up walking again, when its not raining, but it's been a full year so I am totally out of condition, and my back is super sore 9 weird, from walking, but its true)
I was kind of surprised, I made any sense at all yesterday. I did get some sleep, the previous night, but was nevertheless, super tired, with a foggy brain.
I thought, I was all over the place, with no apparent theme or continuity, when writing......
I even stopped at one point and thought......
What? What IS my point here? :(
I am not sure, if I am more awake in my brain today, or not really.
Dare I mention, I have also been struggling, a bit with some depression, I think, my sins seem worse or bigger in my life than ever before. When I was young, they virtually meant, almost nothing to me but now, even what some might think a small sin is huge and a huge sin.....well, is totally overwhelming at times.
I do confess and attempt to leave it with Jesus, but often I snatch them back, to grieve over them some more.... As IF, that might gain me some 'brownie' points.
But really, it more a habit, It's like No you did not care enough about God, because you 'thought' that or whatever.... you need to have a deeper understanding of the evil in you ( Is that from the devil?)
Oh! Also I will continue today, on the Millennial Kingdom, but do you think, I should start on some of the other ideas, you just posted?
I have not yet, looked at them, but am excited to see what they are.... :)
that feels kind of like Christ-mas presents :)
I may continue tomorrow, with the Millennial Kingdom because depending on if I get to wake up at a 'reasonable' hour, or not
You may post, before or after me.
and.....you could pick, which one I should do next :)
Either way, let me know, when you can.

My words are in this color and Biblical Scriptures in this color
Here are some thoughts concerning God's Kingdom:
We know that when the Christians are raptured, before the seven year, tribulation, their bodies will be changed, transformed.
We cannot know, exactly how they will look like, any more than, if we look at some random, small seed, can we know, what it will look like, until, after it has been planted in the ground, and allowed to grow.
26 And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. 27 He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. Mark 4:26,27
I think the scatter of seeds, could be the gospel, that believers had scattered, and some of those secular folk, became saved.
All the believer, did was give the Word ( the seed) but it is God who does all the rest.
7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 1 Corinthians 3:7
And speaking of 'small' seeds, what good could they do?
What IF they were symbols for people in the Kingdom? Well, Jesus said this about a small mustard seed:
30 And he said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we use for it?
31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth,
32 yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.”
Mark 4:30-32
Just in case, someone is going to say, but the mustard seed is NOT the smallest seed in the planet.....
Jesus was talking about the 'farmers' in those days, The mustard seed would have been the smallest 'crop seed', they would be using.
We have to look at verses in their proper context.
The same goes for the skeptic, who might say:
Mustard plants are not that large!! humph!
Well, firstly, like all crops there is a ton of variety.....
and some heirlooms from back then, might be extinct!
Even so, with good soil, etc etc. a mustard plant can grow to 15 feet or more.
Speaking of birds and trees and the kingdom
22 Thus says the Lord God: “I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. I will break off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
23 On the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it may bear branches and produce fruit and become a noble cedar. And under it will dwell every kind of bird; in the shade of its branches birds of every sort will nest.
Ezekiel 17:22,23
Sooooo,
Changed topography of the planet, (during the Millennial Kingdom), Changed Believer's bodies, Change in world wide leadership!!!
Speaking of the changed land and seeds and things:
The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; 2 it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. Isaiah 35:1-2
and
“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it. Amos 9:13
Not only that, but after all the terrible episodes with the sun during the tribulation, Then, it will be like this ( I think):
26 Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven-fold, as the light of seven days, in the day when the Lord binds up the brokenness of his people, and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow. Isaiah 30:26
Continuing to fall asleep, so Done for Today

I'm going to reply inside your post for this one as it will be easier.
Oh dear......I am totally convicted about the qualifications to 'ruling'... only.... one, no .....two problems: You said, "qualifications" but did you mean "qualifiers"? Did you understand what I meant by qualifier?
I have always stunk at being an being an authority figure, and forget confrontation!
Other than those two ( like super important ones) Other then what important ones?
I am moving more or less in the right direction.
Well, kind of, if I don''t deal with confrontation, it is NOT loving....
tho I can be gentle, and kind ( or is it just cowardly?)
No, we are to always be gentle and kind and loving, even in a confrontation.
in the end, if I am not dealing with confrontation it is not a kindness!
Soooooooo.....
And it is getting so late on God's time clock!
I do confront the grand kids, a wee bit. But never did with my own children..... and still don't
Your kids are adults now so there's not much you can or should confront them about. If it's something that is really harming them and could even kill them, like they're becoming addicted to alcohol or drugs, then yes, you can and should still confront them about it by gently, kindly and lovingly telling them that you love them and want them to live because you would hate to live without them, but alcohol (or drugs) will eventually end their life, and before it does that, it will take all the meaning out of their life. Another example is my daughter's husband as he is obese and the doctors have told him he has to lose weight or he won't be around to see his children marry. I've encouraged his weight loss, but it took him a year to just lose 20 pounds. We were talking about it last weekend and he made the excuse that other more important things had come up witch prevented him from losing more. I couldn't believe my ears! I looked right in his eyes and said, "Bob, there is NOTHING more important right now then you losing that weight! I say that because I love you and I know your wife and children do too. We want you to be around for a long time yet and the only way you will be is if you lose a lot more weight!" I could see he was surprised by what I'd said, but he accepted it and agreed that I was right. From past experience I have a feeling I'm going to have to stay on top of him to get him to keep at it. But I always try to be loving and kind when I do so, although that particular time I also had to be stern.
You and I have talked a little about my son
and then that is tricky, because, if someone is not saved, and made it clear they do NOT want to hear it......
OK, I think you're confusing two different things...witnessing and confrontation. There is no confrontation in witnessing. You have already told your son about Jesus and salvation and a whole lot more and you've told him a lot more then once. You have done your job. Now it's up to God to make the seeds grow.
well, how does one confront? Confronting someone depends on what you're confronting them about, and whether or not they are already aware of the issue or not. I've given you the example of how I confronted my son in law. He was aware of the issue but wasn't really trying to do what he had promised the doctor he would. Another example would be when I confronted my daughter about how they were trying to force Elijah to "have fun" and participate in games at his cousins birthday parties. I waited until we were all leaving the party and we told Jenn we'd follow them to their house. When we got there, I asked Jenn to come sit with us in our car. I explained to her that it's impossible for parents to force a child to have fun. I told her that I understood they just wanted him to have a good time and that they were afraid that he was too shy. I pointed out things that showed that Elijah wasn't at all shy though. I told her he just may not feel comfortable about playing games for the first time when around other people. But regardless of the reason, they needed to stop threatening him by telling him things like, "no more candy" if you don't go join the other kids - or something like that. Plus by the tone of their voices Elijah could tell they were upset with him and it was confusing him. I think I even mentioned that maybe he couldn't see well enough to tell what he was supposed to do. To take some of the pressure off of her, I reminded her of a story I'd told my kids about what my mom had said to me because i didn't enjoy "parties" and preferred to stay home and read. One weekend when I had been invited to a party, she told me "You are going to the party and you are going to have fun whether you like it or not! That always made everyone laugh because it's so absurd, but that's what she was doing to Elijah. Of course Jenn cried and I felt like a heel for upsetting her, but I couldn't stand to see them doing that to their child anymore. Even her sister had noticed it this time and said something at the party about it so I knew I needed to step in and help. Bruce and I hugged her and told her we loved her and thought she was a great mother and that she and Bob were doing a very good job. I explained that all parents make mistakes, and asked her not to let that bother her because everything else they were doing was great! They were better parents than I'd been! When she pulled herself together she went in to her house and we went home. It was only a couple of weeks later that we found out that Elijah had very bad vision - or as the doc said, he has my eyes. (I'm almost blind without my glasses). When Jenn told me that, I was able to remind her of our talk and say, see, the problem was that he could see what he was supposed to play the games right! Once he got his glasses, no one felt any need to tell him to join in the games, because then the problem was getting him to stop! So there's another example for you.
Oh and the information about qualifiers was great! I will try to include that ( more) when studying and writing.
Thank you so much for the help!!!
You have been such a positive and encouraging person in my life! Thank you. God has used you greatly, in my life!
Your so sweet Barbara. I sometimes feel like the way I've helped you at times was by showing you what not to do LOL This has all been a learning experience for me too, so I've learned just as much from you as you have from me. I think one of God's specialties is making that happen!
I will again reply inside your next post.

I'm sorry you haven't been sleeping well and have been in so much pain too. I finally asked my doc to give me the ambien sleeping pills again and have used them a lot just so I can sleep. I think I've used it too often already so now I'm going to cut back for awhile. But what a great help they are! I think you did fine. I didn't notice any rambling anyway.
Oh Barbara, don't you yet realize that instead of being depressed about that you should be rejoicing??? It's funny, but I actually heard MacArthur say the same thing I've told you any number of times, in one of his sermons. I wish I could remember which one, but I've been listening to so many I don't remember. Anyway, what both MacArthur and I have said, is that when we are first saved, we rarely even realize it when we sin. Partly because we don't really know what sin is other then the obvious ones like murder and stealing, etc. And we often don't feel all that bad about it when we do realize we've sinned. We kind of shrug it off and hope to do better next time. BUT, as we grow in our faith through the daily study of God's Word, we come to understand what sin is better and what sin does to us better. We also come to understand what Jesus did for us to enable us to say no to sin and how it hurts Him when we don't. Basically the more mature we become in our faith, the more we know and understand about God and about sin. Most of all though, the more mature we are in our faith, the more our love for Jesus grows, as does our love for the Father. It's because of our love for Him that the more we know the worse we feel about sin in our life! How badly we feel about sin, is a great way to tell how mature our faith is. What I'm saying is that your bad feelings about sin proves that you are saved and that you've become mature in your faith! It's also true that the more we know, the more we realize how much we don't know! (kind of weird admittedly, yet still true.) It's also true that the more mature your faith is, the more you will notice the sins in your life.
Don't allow yourself to stay down about sin. That's what Satan wants, not Jesus. Jesus wants us to simply admit to Him that we've sinned and ask for His help not to do it again. He wants to help us and doesn't care at all if we have to ask him that about a particular sin once, twice or a hundred times - as long as we ask. Satan knows this is a big weakness he can exploit and he does so as often as we allow him too. To avoid letting Satan get to us, the Lord says we should confess our sins to each other and pray for each other. It's where the whole accountability partner thing comes from. The idea is that if two people tell each other when something has got them down, like a particular sin(s) and then that person talks to them about it and then they pray together, that the individual should feel relieved from their guilt and be able to accept the fact that Jesus has already made them clean by the Word He spoke to them at salvation. (John 15:3) “How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” (Hebrews 9:14) “Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.” (Hebrews 10:19–22) Remember, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are already praying for you. I will too; but if it would help you get over feeling down, and help you realize that instead it's a time to rejoice, I'd be glad to discuss your sins in a private message if you'd like to.
IF you need a deeper understanding, then you will only get that through studying/reading your Bible and prayer. It will NOT come through thinking about it. And hon, you're right, when we sin, we are caring more about our self then about God. That's what our sin nature is all about - self love. We should realize it, (as you obviously do) and then in prayer let God know that we realize it and that we don't want to sin. Ask Him to show us our sins so we can always confess them and repent of them right away and hopefully stop doing them. But we also have to understand that as long as we have this particular body, the body that Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit called, "the body of death" in Romans 7:24, we will continue to sin, often doing the same sins over and over again. That's why God tells us to take our thoughts captive. He doesn't say that we just need to do that one time and we'll be all set afterward. It's what we will have to do about every thought, every day, until we get our new body. it's also why He tells us to renew our minds and again, that's to be every day too, because it too isn't a one time thing. Our thoughts are totally corrupted and the only way we can have and use the mind of Christ is by doing those things continually. God is also very aware we will fail time and again. That's why He sent Jesus, and why Jesus lived a perfect life while He was on earth so that His life could be put on our account and our rotten lives could be put on His. it's not fair, we don't deserve it at all; but that's why it's called mercy and grace. I can't imagine why God loves us, but He does and because He does, He bends over backward to save us from ourselves.
Whatever you feel like doing is fine with me... you can continue with this or start a new one. I'd suggest if you start a new one to use one of the first 4 listed, ok?
Good one! I would point out though that the scriptures you posted of Ezekiel 17:22–23, are not talking about plants, it's actually a prophecy about Jesus. Here's what MacArthur says about it: a sprig from the lofty top. This is messianic prophecy stating that God will provide the Messiah from the royal line of David (“the cedar”) and establish Him in His kingdom (like a “mountain,” cf. Da 2:35, Da 2:44-45). He will be “a sprig” reigning in the height of success. “Sprig,” or “branch,” is a name for Messiah (cf. Ezekiel 34:23-24; Ezekiel 37:24-25; Is 4:2; Jer 23:5; Jer 33:15; Zec 3:8; Zec 6:12). Messiah will be “a tender one” (Ezekiel 17:22) growing into a “stately cedar” (Ezekiel 17:23). Under His kingdom rule, all nations will be blessed and Israel restored.

That was funny about your mom's statement....it was probably not all that funny to you at the time.... plus.... you had to stop reading for a time....bummer! LOL
Even to this day, I am not usually anxious to go to a party. Once there I usually have 'fun', but am also ready in an hour or two to go home and read :)
No, I confused you by how I wrote....
I was trying to say, the two qualifiers you mentioned were THE super important ones!
And other characteristics, I might 'think' God could use that I 'think' I have
like kindness, or gentleness or even mercy......
Don't really hold water if the two you mentioned are not there.
Sort of like talking nicely and patting someone kindly on the back but not mentioning there are a foot away from eternity in Hell by their behavior or if a Christian they will lose rewards in Heaven, and hurt many ( including themselves here on earth)
But then..... you are right I am sort of mixing up confrontation and or with witnessing
Tho, I do know, we are not to be combative when witnessing.
Still, I keep thinking, that in a way it seems sort of confrontational when talking about sin and being a sinner.
Don't most people act as if its an insult, rather than the truth? I was going to reply to more but.....
oh-oh it's already after 9:00 So I will start of this topic:
Hell, and the Lake of fire, and the difference and what is waiting for those who will go there.

I'll reply inside your post again.

I was trying to say, the two qualifiers you mentioned were THE super important ones!
Now I'm still confused... I went back and copied what I wrote about qualifiers and from what I wrote (which I copied and pasted at the end of your post) I see the main one is that you have to be saved, which you definitely are. It may look like the first one is that you have to be "righteous" but you are righteous, because you have been justified and that's how God sees you. So again all of the verses quoted by me simply show you must be saved in order to have those promises. What did you see as "qualifiers"?
And other characteristics, I might 'think' God could use that I 'think' I have
like kindness, or gentleness or even mercy......
Don't really hold water if the two you mentioned are not there. I still can't figure out what two I mentioned!

I'm glad you said that because until you did, I was totally lost! Confrontation isn't about witnessing. I understand that it can be scary to tell someone about Jesus, because I feel that too. But that's not what is usually meant when someone is talking about confrontation.
Tho, I do know, we are not to be combative when witnessing.
Still, I keep thinking, that in a way it seems sort of confrontational when talking about sin and being a sinner.
Yes, it is or at least it can be. I try to wait for a way to open up for me to talk to someone. For example if they've been hurt badly by another person, like a spouse or boyfriend or girlfriend, I see that as an opening to tell them about the one person who will never hurt them and will always be with them to help and comfort them. Or if they're having problems with their kids, I might use that as an opening to tell them that what their kids are doing reminds me of what we do to God, or what the parent is doing may remind me of what God does for us....etc. I can always bring sin into it later after I've gotten past their initial defenses. I just don't make it confrontational. I make it as though I'm trying to help them, because in fact, that's exactly what I'm trying to do.
Don't most people act as if its an insult, rather than the truth? I was going to reply to more but.....
I haven't had anyone get angry with me about it. I don't pressure people, and won't because Jesus never did. He told people the truth and left it up to them what they did with it. Instead of constantly nagging at them to be saved, He even told them to count the cost! I find that people don't get angry if I tell them that I'm an evil person and a horrible sinner instead of telling them that they are. I can tell them about my sins (which I'm sure are theirs as well) but that way they can get the information without feeling that I'm attacking them.
One thing I don't do and won't do is walk up to a perfect stranger and try and tell them the gospel. I'm not saying I wouldn't talk to someone that I was seated next to on a plane, because it's normal to talk to someone like that. But it's not normal to walk up to strangers that are generally busy doing something or going somewhere and interrupt them. I wouldn't want someone to do that to me so I won't do it to another.
Let's continue this discussion here though, if you want to, ok?
oh-oh it's already after 9:00 So I will start of this topic:
Hell, and the Lake of fire, and the difference and what is waiting for those who will go there.
Here's what I wrote about qualifiers:

These were the two qualifiers that you mentioned about being rulers in God's kingdom, that I was referring to:
1)- "We need to ask ourselves if we handle being an authority figure well or not. 2)- We need to ask how well we deal with confrontation", ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But on another note, what you wrote today....
These examples were absolutely stellar!
If you can tell me any more that would be great!
Thank you so much for them!
