Behind the scenes I hear our Govenor threw a fit last night when all SO CAL TV station went to car chases
Even us LA Gangsta take car chase over sudden to be recall Govenor of our state

Starting to cool off here now....we are sliding into autumn/fall.
Winter gets to -11C ( 12 F ) at its coldest, mostly -5C ( 23 F )
We live at about 2000 feet elevation, so when it gets cold it gets cold.
Hope Bruce is doing better.
Lulu - one day I'd love to cross the US by car and take it all in. Love the idea of Montana and especially Texas.....I think a lot of australians have a frontier mindset at heart.

About a year ago I remember hearing that there was a move of Christians, moving to the state of Montana, haven't heard anything new about that now though.

Hi all, hope everyone's doing well. I think we saw those glasses at walmart but I'm not sure if they're the same ones.
Bruce has been sick at home for two weeks now. I think I just heard him moving around which means he may have woken up. so I should go check on him.

Hi everyone! Talk about weird weather.... Tuesday through Saturday was beautiful here...like spring. It got up to 63 on Saturday and everyone was loving it. Sunday started out looking like it would be another beautiful day. People were dressed in t-shirts again, until all of a sudden the temp dropped drastically, the sky turned dark and the next thing we knew it was snowing so hard we couldn't even see the trees in our yard! Ever since then it's been back to winter for us!  I hope you all are staying warm!

I been so busyyyyyy i am back at work only 3 days out of the week so the kids right now
I am going be in and out there is possibtly we may go five days and local Cathoic church school is plan 5 days with social distancting they got okay with LA Arhcidisose thank to fund raiser they been doing get Corid 19 protection remember I told you about SHakey pizza well I just order out that part of the plan the fundraiser
Actually priest is pretty cool maybe he as a kid he spent time at Santa Anita Park with late uncle learning horse betting so there is connection and world history connection like Alison Weir and Dan Jones history novels LOL! tooo
I think because both of our older relatives were rail birds part of Mustard crowd at Santa Anita with my aunt betting poines and his uncle betting too

Leonard got SS at 63...( the earliest one could)
and I never worked so I get zero ss.....
except a couple hundred as his wife
We are now 75 and 76.....
So far, God has provided for us.
We do get a small amount of food stamps
and a little rent assistance
But not a huge amount of either.
Leonard tried to wait a few years
So we could have gotten more ss
but no one would hire him.
( they said because he had been in the art business
he would not be a good fit
in a jewelry store
( he did a lot of craft jewelry, love gems etc)
He would not be good in a clothing store
( as a gallery owner etc. he be too demanding)
but he loved clothes
He would not be good in a photos shop because blah blah
he loved photography
He would not be good at MacDonald's because an art dealer would not stay
He would not work well....
He would not be good at Safeway because
he had been in banking and art
He would not be good at a bookstore
but he loves all kinds of books dearly
At 50 or 100 places he tried...
( he was too old, too qualified, too something.....)
Sooooo he went with age 63 ss
I am not sure how old Bruce is?
We did sell our paintings on ebay for years
and he sold gems
and books
etc. etc.
on ebay
for about 10 years
So in our case, we are still here
We owe it to God.

Well take time out here on my lunch break btw I think safe to say we may be reopen Churches service pretty soon with social distancing that has it already I know Cathoic church near my house already open it up
so matter of time also here insider item it well know we may recall my current soon to be recall governor Gavin Newsom with some Demo want run against him on recall election and also GOP dude from San Diego both them could speak Spanish that works in Sac-Town Frisco LA

The people don't have to wait for the other churches to get brave enough to have services, they can all just go to Grace Church where MacArthur preaches. He's still preaching every day! Last week he told how someone from the state called him and told him they were going to put all the homeless people in his parking lost since it's so huge. I guess they planned on putting up a tent city and inviting the homeless to live there. But they weren't going to that because they cared about the homeless and wanted to help them; no, they were planning on doing that as another way to force MacArthur to stop having services. But it backfired because when they threatened to do that, he replied with, "That's fantastic! We'll have all our seminary students evangelize them all day long! He wasn't being sarcastic or mean. He was really thrilled and couldn't wait to tell them all about Jesus! When they realized that, they didn't bother to bring any homeless people to his parking lot.

I saw where MacArthur said that Cindy! I am sure, he really thought
what a great opportunity to tell the homeless about Jesus!
They would not even have to go out and look under bridges and the like.
They could feed them, bring them blankets, clothes, etc.
But even more so, bibles, the word of God, and evangelize!
By the way, here is a neat 3 minutes interesting video

Hi everyone! I finally found a site that not only has a bunch of different Bible versions you can choose from but it actually has the NIV84 Bible as well as the newer version! That's important because most people, including me, can't recommend the new version of the NIV, but really like the old one. None of the other Bible study sites have the older version which makes it very frustrating for many people. So for anyone like me who wants to choose the NIV84 or any other Bible version, check this site out: www.studylight.org/

Hi, been keeping busy, nice weather now outdoors and there is much to do to keep myself busy.
Lulu, here is a video about RVing, that I watched, wow only a 35 mph wind blew one couples truck off the road, hanging over the side of a bridge. Those are good people that help to rescue others. I would post some pictures on your thread but I don't know how to do that here. I also do not have a smartphone cellphone.
