I am going to move to a new topic today.
But......before I leave, last night I was reading Ephesians 4 and realized, it contained some verses, I should have included also.
Verses like:
14 As a result, we are no longer to be children,
tossed here and there by waves
and carried about by every wind of doctrine,
by the trickery of people,
by craftiness in deceitful scheming;
15 but speaking the truth in love....
Ephesians 4:14,15
And
17 So I say this, and affirm in the Lord,
that you are to no longer walk just as the Gentiles also walk,
in the futility of their minds,
18 being darkened in their understanding,
excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them,
because of the hardness of their heart;
Ephesians 4:17,18
I think, many people are of the opinion,
that if a person has a PHD ( or two or three)
from an elite college
Then they 'know' and cannot be refuted.
But such people can be 'ignorant'
What???!!!!
They can be unaware of refusing
to be in awe of absolute infinite knowledge
God
14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God,
for they are folly to him,
and he is not able to understand them
because they are spiritually discerned.
Just because someone, anyone, has a whole passel of degrees,
does not guarantee that person
is wise, someone to listen to,
someone to tear down your faith
in God, whose knowledge IS infinite
Rather, study from the infinite's Word
can make you, even like King David, who said:
I have more understanding than all my teachers,
for your testimonies are my meditation.
Psalms 119:99
Okay....
NOW! I am done :)
And will start a new thread:
Why is fear a sin?
I ought to mention next Tue will be a weird day for me,
because 'finally ,
the new water heater should be coming....
HOWEVER......
That is going to mean electricians tearing up the floor, to get under the house,
taking apart, and moving out old water heater,
moving in new
by plumbers
The landlord tromping about
etc.
An all day disruption!!!!!!!!!!! :(
Nevertheless, I will 'try' to post
but it's 'iffy' at this point.
I am hoping it may go faster than we were told
or
they make take a break
or
I will find a way, to work around them HA!
