I've got to share this with you guys as it shows how little covid is impacting people. This is from today's map of covid 19 in the US. Please take note of the deaths in comparison to the number of cases and recoveries.

Hi Cindy Its interesting your post on covid. The CDC published a report which basically said 94% of deaths attributed to covid19 were in fact from underlying pre existing medical conditions instead. Which means only 6% ( 6% is 0.06 in decimal ) were from covid alone. If you look at the math: 241,000÷10,399,325 = 0.024 ( 2.4 % ) death rate. But...if only 6% are truly from covid itself then the math is (241,000 ÷ 10,399,325 )*0.06 = 0.0014 ( 0.14% death rate ) This equates to 241,000 × 0.06 = 14,600 deaths 14,600÷330,000,000 people in USA = 0.000044% of USA population have died actually from covid itself. Check the math but im sure its right. Normal flu in the USA : www.cdc.gov/flu/about/season/flu-season-2017-2018.htm#anchor_1534865810538"CDC estimates that from 2010-2011 to 2013-2014, influenza-associated deaths in the United States ranged from a low of 12,000 (during 2011-2012) to a high of 56,000 (during 2012-2013). |

I've loved accuweather for many years as I've found that for our area they have the very best and most accurate weather predictions. I literally tested all the most well known weather sites including our local news station, the weather channel, etc and accuweather out did them all. I've used it exclusively ever since. Besides weather, they also report the news and keep track of the corona virus.
When I saw their little graph, to me it showed better then any words ever could just how small a thread covid really is. Yes, it's real, and yes, anyone could get sick from it, but your chances of being "deathly ill" or dying from it are very small. Besides which, as I've said from the very beginning, before I knew for sure if it was deadly or not, as Christians we know that the only people who will die are those who's time here is up. God has known the date and time of our birth and of the death of our bodies since before we were even created. When that time comes, our body will die, no matter what is done to avoid it. For us the death of our body is a wonderful thing because it means we'll be with our Lord from that moment on and that we'll have another much better body and that we'll never sin again. So we have nothing at all to fear from covid, as we can all say with Paul: “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)

Wow! We're definitely not the land of the free anymore. Not when someone can be put in jail for a year for having 50 people come to a party at their home. If people aren't concerned about covid they should be allowed to get together if they want to. Those who are concerned wear masks so aren't affected by them anyway. Say good bye to more of our rights being taken away...

BTW yesterday I pick up the Crown season 3 on DVD my fav major character always been Princess Anne she rocks
But my other fav minor character is Princess Alice of Batterberg was Mom of Prince Phillip Duke of Edingbeurgh she is a character

I'm sorry I wasn't here on Friday, but I felt awful that day and over the weekend as well. Today is better but still not completely better.
I can't believe that person could say that about striptease dancers with a straight face! "their 'artistic right'" my foot! I can guarantee you he won't be look Jesus in the eyes and say that! Instead he'll be quivering in fear when he stands before the judge of all the earth. All this sin just sickens me. Yes, God did shed His grace on the US for a long time. Not any longer though. Now we're under judgement just like the rest of the world. That's easy to see if only by noticing all the natural disasters that have been happening all over the US over the last few years.

Yup a judge said that.....
What I find interesting is
it is an 'artistic' right to strip...
But as a cake artist being asked ( demanded)
to create a lewd decorated cake
and refusing.....
based on what might seem to be
a similar 'artist right'
is not always judged okay
In other words, you cannot use your 'artistic right' to refuse
to create certain kinds of 'art'.

it's happened in the past

There is a popular website on you tube where people go to watch daily earthquake activity, that is dutchsinse. Are there still fires burning in CA, how is the air quality? No fires here, nice weather and good air quality. A few months ago I tried to buy a cheap air purifier for the home, after two months of never arriving I felt lucky to get my money back and glad I did, it probably would not have been a good buy, had it arrived. Do you have a guess at what the next covid 20 will be? I am guessing small pox. |
