We were under an actual tornado watch last night! I don't think that's ever happened before here. We have had tornadoes, but they were all determined to be tornadoes after the fact. So I was really surprised to hear the weatherman say they were actually expecting one! But our God is an awesome God, and a God who loves His children. I prayed, and I'm sure others did as well, and we had a very peaceful night. I know that Bruce and I slept like babies, and I suspect others did as well. Thank you Lord!
“I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:1–3)

Cindy I have the same issue, with 2 lung diseases and sleep apnea A mask is really not good for my breathing (which is already sometimes hard.)
So I have not worn a mask in stores, and get some 'stink eye' (that's a Hawaiian saying...I think it speaks for itself...yes?).
As I mentioned we only had 6 cases in all of Clapsup Country.....and none were hospitalized.
So now we will be partially opened.... but no...... for church.
I am having a wee bit of a time understanding that. The last Sunday we were able to go to church
All the staff had on masks, gloves, had very carefully measured and rearranged the setting to be 6 feet apart etc etc. In other words they followed the rules ( at that time, to the max)
And yet, we can go shopping, to parks, beach, bars, to the 'pot' store, get an abortion ( consider essential) and so on. But church is not essential to 'health'?????
Okay grumble off!
So today ( for now) our pastor's e-mail, talked about small groups for "church'....I could not read the e-mail very well, because
as sometimes happens,
Yahoo was acting up. sigh!!

Good day Seven, hope you are doing well. I feel sad today because I have a christian friend that lies to me, now I have to say good bye to that friend. You made me feel better when I laughed at what you wrote.

Oh Anna so sorry you found out about a lying friend. There are so many different reasons people lie ( none of them good....I am always reminded that Satan is the Father of lies). But I can understand it would make you sad.
However, maybe your friend will understand that lying has consequences and eventually.....the lies get found out ( if not in this life, the next and God is never unaware of them.
I will pray your heart is comforted, and your friend will learn a learn a lesson that will 'heal' her as well.

as sometimes happens,
Yahoo was acting up. sigh!! I didn't wear a mask Thursday or Friday when we went into stores. I guess I've been very blessed because no one has ever given me a dirty look for any reason. The people who did that to you must be really scared. I feel sorry for people like that. They need a lot of prayer...
I completely agree and understand people being upset about not being able to go to church. But I would hope that your church is at least doing their service live on line so that people can at least attend that way. Well in state of CA pot shop are essential shopping I am serious this is no joke you can get abortion according to Governor Pat Reilly and ACLU don't ask it part of health plan in Cali I don't get it Yep, Satan is having a great time with all the unbelievers. They need a lot of prayer! It's the same way here.
Good day Seven, hope you are doing well. I feel sad today because I have a christian friend that lies to me, now I have to say good bye to that friend. You made me feel better when I laughed at what you wrote. I'm sorry to hear that Marlene, but glad that Kelly was able to make you smile!

That sure looks beautiful Lulu! I've always loved Arizona.
We had something really weird happen last night. A large bird flew into the office window, shattering it, and killing the bird. The cats were in there when it happened as it's one of their favorite windows to look out of. Thankfully none of them were hurt, just scared to death! It took us over an hour to clean the room up. Bruce took the bird outside and put it in a box in case fish and game wanted to see it for some reason. He called and left a message for them about it. He went in to work and told them he was taking the day off to try and find a window to fix ours with, so that's what he's doing now.

I have heard of birds flying into windows and dying but that is unusual that a bird breaks a window like that. Do you know what kind of large bird it was that could break a window, usually birds are not large enough to be able to do that, anyways first time I've heard of a bird breaking a window.

Weird about bird Cindy ( breaking the window that is). I put up some stickers on our window from Hossanah's dollar tree, a few years ago....( Christmas plastic ones) A whole pack for a dollar ( saying things like: Noel etc.)
Oh yes, our pastor and staff do a 'daily' online encouragement and a Sunday sermon
( with music.... singing etc. 2-5 people all 6 feet apart) before the sermon and after

Sorry, I meant to tell you that it was a hawk. We think it was sick or something happened to it to cause that to happen.

The hawk didn't think the window was open space. We have stickers on our windows too. Something was wrong with the hawk to case that to happen.
I'm glad to hear your church is doing the best they can for their congregation. That's too bad. He was a big help to me at one time and I appreciated all he did to help get people out of false religions like the JW's.

I was sad to here Ravi died also, but then, from his viewpoint, he is with the Lord, so I don't think, he is sad.
Now, our church can have 'church' with less than 25 people ( phase one of re-opening)
per room . ( everything sanitized)
there are maybe 15? rooms... Sunday school rooms, kitchen, etc.
We can go and listen to Pastor John. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We In Oregon state 'almost' had church completely opened.
I guess a lawyer, representing about 10 churches in Oregon brought it up to a n Oregon supreme court judge
( the fact, abortions, liquor stores, pot stores etc etc etc
are 'necessary to one's health but not churches)
( I 'think', maybe that was part of it)
but for sure..... Churches were only supposed to 'legally' closed be for 28 days
So the judge lifted ALL the restrictions, but then ...
either another judge over ruled (or something...like that
I did not read it carefully.....
only... it was an okay to go... and then back to no :(
Anyway, the Oregon supreme court judges are reviewing it
( no knowing when they will make a decision)
