You know, this Corona virus could well be the one big thing that could set the stage for the Antichrist. People are scared, and they want to be safe - safe from the virus of course, but they also want their jobs to be safe so they can support their families. Right now, that's not looking so good which is bringing a lot more fear to people. They want someone who will save them from the virus and from the economic uncertainty, and from not being able to support their families.
People tend to fear things that aren't known; and right now the future is very uncertain, which creates even more fear. This is because the vast majority of people don't know if they'll still have a job or how they'll be able to get a job. People don't know how long the government will bail them out, and worry that what the government is doing by bailing people out could well be bankrupting the country. Our health system which was once the best in the world, is now very broken and the government recognizes that and has guaranteed us that everyone's medical bills caused by the corona virus will be paid in full. Sounds great, but then it's yet one more thing that will most likely eventually bankrupt the country.
Basically, people want things to go back to normal, and are afraid of what the "new normal" is going to look like. And so, they're looking for a savior. The longer this continues, the harder the people are going to be looking for that savior and the more they'll be clamoring for one. Blame will be cast on just about everyone, some deserved and some not deserved.
What else needs to happen before the rapture then? Nothing! It could well be the next thing to happen! The rapture would cause an already fearful world to become panic stricken, and their desire for a savior would increase ten fold. Their panic would partially be due to all the people disappearing (and this after so many had died from the virus); but the disappearances would cause looting, and all kinds of problems, including more economic problems.
Then, after we're gone there will be one person that the people won't cast blame on, but will welcome with open arms because they'll think that he can save them from all of this. I do believe that the end is very near for us. God has been warning people to examine themselves according to scripture and see if they are truly saved or not; and if they are He's told us to get busy doing His Will instead of our own, because soon He will be separating the chaff from the wheat. Where do we start? We start by reading our Bibles daily, talking to the Lord about what we've read and applying it to our life. The Bible tells us how we are to live our life in these last days. I'll post a few of them although I'm sure there are many who will think it's a whole lot and won't read the scriptures. That's one way to assess your spiritual health though. Those who truly love God, also love His Word, and are always anxious to know what it has to say to them.
“The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:7–8)
“The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:9–12)
“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25)
“You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!” (James 5:8–9)
“Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.” (2 Peter 3:11–12)
“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” (Philippians 4:5)
““Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.”” (Revelation 16:15)
““Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” (Matthew 24:42–44)
“It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 24:46–51)
