Hi
My Dad has suffered a few strokes and occasionally isnt able to make informed choices.
This raises the question of him eventually not being able to exercise spiritual headship for his household ( mum is still alive and mentally sharp ).
This also raises the question of whether as eldest son I need to Biblically "step up" and assume spiritual headship of his household, if he cant, even though he is still alive.
I know in the OT the Israelites used to take people into their own household when a husband died etc.
Thoughts welcome.....I'm having trouble finding anything directly related to this.....
