 Did you know that UPS shipping rates will increase 5% starting Sept.19th, yep. I think of all the UPS and FedX trucks that get in accidents in the winter time on the Interstate.
I have to go take Jack the dog for a walk, silly dog won't go to the bathroom until he gets put outside the fence, so I walk out there also. There are many high weeds out there this time of the year with all the rain and all.OH Man Cindy I just find out about it how sad was he was sick BTW I have today and Monday off for Labor day I been cruising on my ET and international news wires Big news is since Vin Scully retired from Dodgers broadcaster booth they show on free tv his last broadcast game on KTLA 5 here in SO CAL since Time Warner has tied up the Dodger broadcast only get 0.2 rating since nobody pay jack on Dodger games Phil.1:29For to you it has been granted not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His Sake. I buried Larry 1 week ago.Seems like a year.Margie,me and Larry's last anniversary was 41 years.But It will continue til eternity.We won't even be able to count as high as our anniv. goes.lol.That was supposed to be a funny because I know there will be no marriage in Heaven But he will still be my husband til I die.Then I become the Bride of Christ!And Larry,too!How awesome is that? Cindy,I hear you about your chores.I am so down in my back it took an hour to get able to stand when I woke up and the pain was bad.I still have Larry's seat-walker so tonight I will put it by my bed.I can now use bleach(yea!!!) and wear perfume and get lavender pine-sol,I even got lavender bleach.But alas.I can't stand up more than five min. tops and that is with my meds.When I can I am going to clean this place top to bottom,I am sure listening to K-Love and cleaning will be good therapy.I am only afraid the family will wonder why I didn't do it when he was here.Cause Dawn doesn'tget things white or smell clean. Sheila called me hysterical the day ,well 1 week ago.I had just walked in the door and still had my shoes on :'( .Steven got furious and started yelling into the phone that I didn't need this today but I told him she had no one else to call.She only has me now..So I called my niece/surrogatedaughter,Lisa.She called Sheila and told her to call 911 as there were 3 of her sons' friends threatening her and refusing to leave.She wanted Lisa to call 911,but my blunt girl told her she would be right out to help her but not if she wouldn't help herself and she made Sheila call them.So when Lisa and Shane(her hubby) got there the cops had already run them off and that was Jesus cause Lisa only lives 5 mins. from her.I called Sheila many times a day trying to get her to call me and she would talk to lisa on FB but not me.When she did call,6 days after He was laid to rest she spent an hour on the phone chewing me out for putting so much pressure on her when I knew she was covered up in the warfare :-X .The Lord kept me at peace though I was heartbroken and I apolgizedcontinually.She never asked once how I was,just how hurt she was cause I didn't automatically know she was in a battle or she would have called.I told her sorry so many times.So now she thinks I let her down again.She called this morn and was talking in her right mind and I asked her why she never asked how I was that night and she got all mad gain.I told her "Hey ,don't get defensive,it's just a question.Then She started crying and said"Don't you think I wanted to call you ?I just was covered up."The other night when she chewed me out ,I asked "well are you going to forgive me or not?"She said"of course,I love you.And I am sure God was teaching you some kind of lesson and she hoped I learned from it. Confusing day and one more worrisome thing happened but Steven will take care of him if he tries to call me again.Rick.Sheilas' ex-husband.He swooped in on her as soon as her hubby died and just wouldn't leave(though she was mean and tried to run him off ).I am not Sheila!I won't try to handle someone so evil on my own.But I always know Jesus is with me so I am never alone and now I have Christian friends to talk to about things.Don't y'all think the Lord had control of my words the night she first called.I was very kind and apologetic but I was very angry inside. My mind just jumps around,I hope y'all will forgive me for the book but I just can't wrap my head around all that is going on. I wasn't able to make it to church yesterday which really made me angry with myself. But Jenn and Bob went to the one I've been trying to get them to go to for quite awhile now, and they loved it! They discovered that a couple of their friends went to church there too, and Jenn said the sermon seemed like it was written just for her. LOL They talked to the pastor and really liked him too. Jenn told me that the church does their coffee time differently than most. Instead of being at the end of the service, they take a break during the middle of it and all go have coffee and chat! I thought that was a great way to make sure that they shy folks don't run off and wind up not developing any friendships. This way they can't leave, LOL, so there's a better chance of them making friends. Of course they have coffee after the service as well, but I really liked the idea of the 10 minute break in the middle too.

Ruthanne, I just checked all the settings and can't for the life of me figure out why you can't post in the trials forum. You should be able to post in both the trials forum and the pain forum. Could you try again, even just try posting the word, "hi" or something like that, to show that you can post in them, ok? If you still can't, I'll ask for help and get it straightened out somehow for you.

 it's been a lazy, tooling around here,mostly cleaning up the back yard day....it's quiet and peaceful, weather is excellent! it's an extra day off relaxing...well, our way of relaxing...  Matt and Jazzy have spent the weekend at our Netty's place...her and Justin were in Florida for the last week. I hung out with them Saturday for a few hours....today they are headed for Lyn and Dave's for the day. it's a hang out with her other family day!  She sure loves being around family... Robert is home and doing better...Ron and I spent a few hours with him on Sunday after church. I found out the other day that my Uncle Doug is not doing well. he's 89, my cousin Judy is taking care of him, but right now he's in ICU after having a stroke, they got him to care in time though I believe....we are planning a trip up next weekend....he was a BIG part of me surviving here for the first few years...my Auntie Ruby passed a few years back, well, I think 2 years.....My heart aches for Judy, she'll be the last of her maiden family.....  getting older really sucks some times.....but we still manage to keep our joy.... thankful for this day, for it is a day the Lord has made. |

Y'all remember when I used to say I couldn't pray all the time cause of my besetting sin.God doesn't hear the prayers of sinners.Well...about the last three mo.,when I would audio that the Holy Spirit would remind me,I am righteous.I am not a sinner,I am covered in the Righteousness of Jesus.I said that a lot!!!And the Spirit got me first to notice I was saying it and second,I did pray,all the time,just not on my knees,and third,Jesus' sacrifice is the only way to be "Righteous".So now I pray when people come to my mind and I talk to Jesus all the time now.
When Larry was sick,the Lord kept reminding me,-It's not about you,it's about him and that is how I was able to make sure I never distressed him or fought with him ,even when he would snap at me,I'd just leave the room for a few and go back in and say,is it better yet,smiling.And he was always okay.Jesus blessed me and Larry for sure.Now the Lord is telling me,"It's not about you,it's about Me".We have to be about our Fathers Business,and spread the Gospel to all we see.Cause He is coming soon.Must be,this world is soooo bad.

Ok, I will check and see if you were able to post and if not, I'll get to it when I can. I don't think you will have to wait too long though.getting up an hour early starting with today...need more time with the Lord, and I do my quiet time with him when walking the Boy. So Boy is happy, he's getting walked in the mornings again!  now relaxing with Ron and   before entering the dysfunctional world...

Well it been cool and marine layer coastal Eddy weather here IN SO CAL we may have early Fall season seen ever since Labor Day Saturday it seem it been cool and upper 70s the weather could change

BTW ever since Comet tv came on the air I was watching Mystery science theatre 3000 in binge mathon they show Godzilla vs Megatlron and Santa Claus conqueror Martins bring back memories of watch that show on Comedy central

Good morning everyone!  Ruthanne, I can't say how happy it makes me feel to have you in here posting again!! I love that ALL of us are posting, and I just wish we could get back those few more who used to chat with us daily (or as often as they could), back on the old board. We are family here, and having all of you in my life has made it so much richer! 
Grouphug!!  Haha!  Okay now that the mushiness is out of the way  , it was nice hearing about everyone's Labor Day weekend.
Lulu, it's always sweet hearing about Jazzy. She's growing up so fast!
John and I went to GA to see my mother for the weekend and help her on some home repairs. She didn't ask us to (she's not one to ask for help from anyone), but she was so glad we did, and we were glad too. I returned Daddy's box of 1993 journals to her house and switched it out for the 1995 box. (My sister has 1994 at her house.) I am still reading through his diaries and hanging on every word. 
Most of it is just daily stuff that probably no one would find interesting, but I love it all. It shows his orderliness when he records the daily weather & temperature, what time he got up, what he ate, who he talked to through the day, and the icing on the cake are his philosophical musings or humorous stories. Although he was not one to go around talking about the Lord all the time (he didn't talk that much to begin with), he had a deep love for, and devotion to, God that came through in his writings.
He wasn't perfect either -- that also comes across!  Okay, sorry - I just have to talk about my Daddy every now and then!
OH - on a totally unrelated note, about the comments above on UPS & USPS rates -- I had not heard about the UPS increase, but last time I bought stamps at the post office, the clerk told me the price had recently gone DOWN! Our computer quit working, we thought the problem was memory or the motherboard. It turned out to be it needed new memory installed, which we had and installed it, so now it is working again. We have windows 7 again now instead of 10, maybe because the computer is old but 10 did not work well.
The month of September is my favorite month of the year, the only thing I miss this time of year is seeing the changing colors of the tree leaves.
Rain here also Lulu, all last night and all today, just west of us it is raining heavier than it is here, just steady sprinkles here.

Doesn't feel like autumn here. Still hot and humid.
I'm still reading books by Davis Bunn. Today I checked out The Gift. My city library and my church library both have many of his books, but not all of them. At the city library I can order books they don't have.
Baked fish for supper tonight, along with whatever vegetables I pull out of the pantry.

 Ruthanne, I didn't mean it was raining here, I would LOVE it to rain here...I was referring to my mood, I'm still there. on my walk this morning with Boy I decided not to pray, but listen...my heart is just overwhelmed with all that's been going on....the level of disrespect is outstanding....my heart hurts..... But I do trust in the Lord to get me through this...I think I just need to listen more often then not....  ( I love Pluto..) |

That is a surprise that the price of stamps has gone down! I haven't bought any in about a year so I was unaware of that. Guess I'd better get some now while it's cheaper LOL
Sorry you're having a bad day Lulu. I hope today is much better for you!
Sorry I didn't make it here yesterday, but I think a flare up has started and my back has been very painful. Still is so I'm not up to doing much today either. But I'll do better as it goes along and my body gets used to the extra pain.

I got question for everybody especially women on the board Any of your local grocery or Wal Mart had their Christmas decoration up in corner of the store MAN what month are we in middle part of September HELLO TOO EARLY YIKES  I just got back from shopping at Walmart, I go there once a month. I did not see any Christmas stuff there but I did see a lot of candy for Halloween there. Another comment about Christmas, zero hedge has an article about Hanjin ghost ships, Hanjin went bankrupt now the ships 85 of them I think are stranded not able to get to a port entry because ports are concerned they won't get their money, anyways the ships had stuff on them that was to be sold at Christmas time.
My goodness yes the month of September is to early to think about Christmas.
Well I am in a hurry, sharing my computer with Ron as his is not working again, he ordered parts for it today.
ps edit to add-I just remembered that last year I went to a new large supper Walmart near the border and it was summertime and they did have Christmas stuff out on display there. I remember going over to look at it.

I really gave my excuse beside I have other plan that weekend LOL!
So that my beef right now latest out here in SO CAL we getting cooler weather there is possibtly I may get rain in early October I saw long term forecast look like second week of October

Yeah I did it it part of DC costume party it was Hollywood event to celebrate the Superman movie Powergirl is cousin from Earth 2 universe dont' get me started on that storyline rumor has it we may see Powergirl in upcoming CW Supergirl series remember it was on CBS now move to CW network should been there since guy that created Supernatural the series run that show
Earth 2 storyline been reboot in comics

 it's a Monday....back to the dysfunctional world...ugh...been on my already, and had already. sitting here in our sanctuary with Ron having we had a good weekend, Saturday Matt and I went to see my Uncle...got to see my cousin Judy...then Sunday Ron and I went up again, He was a bit more there, he knew both of us...he tried to say something, but couldn't with the feeding tub. He hates it, he keeps trying to take it out...Judy left a notebook there for visitors to write in, so we left a nice note and let her know how he was doing...Uncle is about an hour away from both of us... then we went to see Ron's brother Robert Brian...he's doing much better, was steady on his feet and walking good, we took him out to dinner. We met up with their stepdad Buzz and had a nice dinner....we left the house at 9 am and didn't get back till 7pm! long day, but a good day... but now back to work...  |

So that my beef right now latest out here in SO CAL we getting cooler weather there is possibtly I may get rain in early October I saw long term forecast look like second week of October Yeah I did it it part of DC costume party it was Hollywood event to celebrate the Superman movie Powergirl is cousin from Earth 2 universe dont' get me started on that storyline rumor has it we may see Powergirl in upcoming CW Supergirl series remember it was on CBS now move to CW network should been there since guy that created Supernatural the series run that show Earth 2 storyline been reboot in comics it's a Monday....back to the dysfunctional world...ugh...been on my already, and had already. sitting here in our sanctuary with Ron having we had a good weekend, Saturday Matt and I went to see my Uncle...got to see my cousin Judy...then Sunday Ron and I went up again, He was a bit more there, he knew both of us...he tried to say something, but couldn't with the feeding tub. He hates it, he keeps trying to take it out...Judy left a notebook there for visitors to write in, so we left a nice note and let her know how he was doing...Uncle is about an hour away from both of us... then we went to see Ron's brother Robert Brian...he's doing much better, was steady on his feet and walking good, we took him out to dinner. We met up with their stepdad Buzz and had a nice dinner....we left the house at 9 am and didn't get back till 7pm! long day, but a good day... but now back to work...
We didn't do much this weekend as I wasn't up to it. Bruce did the shopping for me on Saturday so I could rest. Then the kids came over after church on Sunday and he worked on their car so that it would pass inspection. They had taken it to a couple of places and were going to have to pay over $700 to get it fixed. Bruce fixed it in a couple of hours with about $5 worth of parts. I just sat and visited as I still wasn't up to doing anything. I did make spaghetti for dinner, but that was the extent of my doing anything that day. Still not doing well, and I think now that it is a flare so that means I've got about 10 more days of this to go. I may have to miss my grandsons birthday party this coming weekend if I'm not a lot better. But that won't be so bad since he's turning 16. He's not a little boy anymore so it's not like it'll hurt his feelings if I'm not there lol.
Elijah and Grace had a hard day yesterday because of their behavior last weekend when they purposely disobeyed their parents and got wet playing with the hose. So this weekend they weren't allowed to go outside when they got to our house. It really brought the lesson home though. I doubt if they'll ever do something like that again! Jenn and Bob are really good at following through on discipline. Much better than I was, at least it seems like it to me. And you can sure tell because both of their children are generally very well behaved.

getting up an hour early starting with today...need more time with the Lord, and I do my quiet time with him when walking the Boy. So Boy is happy, he's getting walked in the mornings again!

, it was nice hearing about everyone's Labor Day weekend.
