Planned Parenthood Attacks Pro-Life Leader in Federal Court – We’re Fighting Back
By Jay Sekulow
Yesterday, Planned Parenthood Federation of America and its California abortion clinics filed suit in federal court against the pro-life investigative journalists at Center for Medical Progress (CMP), whose videos have exposed how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of murdered babies.
Planned Parenthood continues to receive half a billion of your hard-earned taxpayer dollars each year. Now, Planned Parenthood is using its immense taxpayer-funded resources to target pro-life groups for exposing its own disgusting practices.
The ACLJ continues to defend a pro-life leader – formerly a board member of CMP which released investigative videos exposing the abortion industries' disturbing practice of selling aborted babies' body parts – against a lawsuit brought by the National Abortion Federation (NAF) to silence and censor the truth. Now, we are once again defending him, this time against Planned Parenthood – the nation’s largest abortion provider – and its latest lawsuit to deflect and distract attention from its true agenda: abortion for profit at whatever cost.
In its lawsuit, big abortion is continuing to spread its misdirection and distortions. In its latest annual report, Planned Parenthood reveals that it performed 323,999 abortions during its last fiscal year while providing nearly 25% less in non-reproductive health care services. That’s 244,717 less health care services than the previous year.

Indictment of Pro-Life Journalists Instead of Planned Parenthood is Very Troubling
By Jay Sekulow
The refusal of a local grand jury in Texas to indict Planned Parenthood for its scheme to sell baby parts is very troubling.
The matter is made even worse by the same Harris County, TX grand jury’s bizarre decision to instead indict two pro-life investigative journalists who exposed Planned Parenthood’s scheme to sell human organs.
By giving Planned Parenthood a pass and indicting two pro-life journalists who merely revealed this horrific practice through their undercover work, the action of this local grand jury raises serious questions about the appropriate use of our legal system.
One thing is for sure. A law preventing the offer to buy and sale of human organs was not intended to criminalize investigative journalists exposing true criminal activity. To use this law in such a way is a misuse of justice.
Our legal team is looking into the law, and developing a legal analysis explaining how legally absurd this indictment is.
When you consider the fact that one of the prosecutors in the Harris County district attorney’s office is deeply involved with Planned Parenthood – serving as a board member for the local Planned Parenthood affiliate in Texas where the undercover investigation took place – along with the fact that she has served as an active fundraiser for Planned Parenthood for years – you have to ask the question – was this probe tainted – was there a conflict of interest – that produced a biased result?
